ok i was showing my cousin how to use her new lg gt540.
i showed her how to use it and i even got her to set a pattern.
now she clicked on the forgot pattern button on the bottom of the lock screen after putting it in wrong. she forgot her google account info and cant go back to the lock screen. it stays at the forgot patter screen. i tried turning the phone off, pulling out the battery, etc.
If he knows gmail login, then he can reset password. Search in gooogle how to do it.
If you don't care about settings, wipe data on recovery.

do this at boot but you will lose all your data e.g sms, contacts ( if not synced) and apps

EDIT : Got it solved by removing my Samsung account and re-signing in.
I don't know what happened lately, but I've noticed a huge difference in battery drain and I've seen it's coming from Samsung SyncAdapter. The phone keeps using this service for 5 seconds once a minute then it disappears from the application manager (in Settings). Then once again, comes back and disappears. Also, it's not the only app doing this, google calendar does it too!
I've tried restaring my phone to see if the problem gets solved, but it didn't work. I know some of you will suggest to disable auto-sync, but then what is the point? It's a problem that just hit my phone recently and trying to figure out why! Any help would be appreciated!

I downloaded Natwest UK app on my Note 4 SM-910F, but when i touch the button to complete registration, the keyboard wont pop-up.
However if i clear "media storage" the keyboard will come up but not for long to enable me use the app. it will then freeze.
I have done hard reset, uninstall and reinstall but still no solution.
Any help please, phone is on EE network UK.

Finally sorted it out. Had copy bubble installed on phone which dimmed the screen preventing the keyboard from popping up.

Even when I tried to using recovery mode to format it didn't allow me
What I have to do now? As it appears to you even if I did not accept what appears in the notification, as you see it will do by force after an hour.

Solved by turn off "Ambient Display" in Hovoc Settings.

I exactly have the same problem, I called them "Notification Preview".
I want the notifications to be shown while the screen is ON, but they come out automatically while the screen is OFF.

Especially when Titanium Backup is running, every time it refreshes the notification (Backup Progress), it shows up.
Note: The notifications preview happens under Screen Off status, so when I press Power Button once, the phone enters Lockscreen.
Please help me, this is extremely annoying...
I recently changed phones.
Left the s7 edge in my drawer for a few months. Came back to check on it, turned it on - stuck in boot loop out of no where. It was working fine last time I turned it off.
I tried putting it in recovery mode, then I got this screen. After a few seconds it turned off, maybe because I pressed one of the buttons, I'm not sure. Then it completely turned off and now it won't turn on at all. I tried changing for a few hours, tried pressing all combinations of buttons.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
