I need ur help in installing some apps that i was able to install and use in stock defy.
what i am talking about is whatsapp and citibankin app from android store ? i need these apps but i am not able to install it in my CM7 ( stable ).
Please help, i tried finding it on xda- but coudnt find a definative answer for this issue.
Why i cnt install these apps and what i have to do to prevent that for these as well as any future apps i want to install in future.

i am using HTC wildfire with the original room (not rooted)
and recently whenever i open any application with and ads for Google the internet browser opens alone and shows the add...so i keep closing it but it reappears again...i simply cannot use any application because of this.....please help me!!!!
Maybe u should make factory reset?
And if that doesnt work you should root ur phone and install a different ROM

I would recommend Cyanogenmod or Wildpuzzle cuz those roms are the most stable i think Or else just search the Htc wildfire forums for Roms u think are the best

Hi guys!
I am writing here in order to describe you my situation with my x8.
I had installed miniCM beta 2 and everything was OK but due to random reboots (apparently without reason, I had not ever used root apps), I had decided to reinstall 2.1 by SE, everything was OK untill I installed app2sd script for 2.1.1 through xRecovery my phone was OK but in market I cannot see in Downloads section any old apps (even if I can run them simply) but if I install them by market it recognises them and put them in the download list.
ps: i cannot download angrybirds (as well as miniCM)
help me please

There are a few market updates available that should fix this problem
The problem for random reboots maybe is for the overclocking, for the problem of the market i don't now, but if you wanna download angry birds you need format cache

I just realized that I cant delete Flash 10.3 , and I need to delete it ,

It doesnt show flash on web site , and the version of flash player is 10.3 , after installing 10.3 , flash on web site shows like a sign and I cant find it on task manager.
No one knows anything about how to delete Flash 10.3 ?

I didnt do anything wrong , just We are in Turkey , We dont see some application , even though they are free , I just wanted to download and install flash player 10.3

Appplanet warez theft ware discussions are forbidden on XDA for good reason many of the people on here are devs and you are stealing from them .

don't delete but go into the browser and enable plugins, flash should work later if you close and restart the browser.
You can use market enabler to get it to show in the market.

Menu - settings - applications - manage applications - **locate flash 10.3** - there "should" be option to uninstall.

U can use titanium back up app (get it from market, free ver is available) .. using it u can remove it or freeze it ..

hey guys im on stock rom and on hells fusion kernel and recently i downloaded freedom app which allows free in app purchases but ever sunce my playstore has stipped working....... is there any way to get it to start working again ? do i have tp reinstall play store amd if i do .... how do.i that ?

Do not use such packages which allows free in app purchases.
First, uninstall that app.
I will give you the link to the play store apk. Try to install it.
Click here to download
If it doesn't work, try to flash gapps for gingerbread for our phone. Search on google or xda to get that gapps files link.
If that also doesn't work, flash stock rom again.
Simply Install Via System App Installer...

note system app doesn't install normally after uninstall it only install in system by System App Installer if ur Rooted Other mostly it will say application not Installed.

OP mentioned that he has installed a kernel. Is this possible without rooting ??
Does replacing without uninstalling cause the same issue ??

I checked the mediafire link that I have posted by myself.
Although, I am not sure what that error means, use a pc to download that file to prevent these kind of errors.
Extract the zip file, copy the apk to your sd card and install it.
Tell me if it doesn't work so that I will update the links.

Simple solution is Open Root Explorer. Go to /system/etc
Delete file named "hosts".
Restart and play store is working.
Don't use any apps which say free app

I agree. But after comleting that process, there's no need to uninstall Freedom. You can fix this issue and then use Freedom without problem. It worked for me at my 7inch Tab 2
