Anyone know where I can get the extra data that goes with Sonic CD? I bought the game 3 days ago and it refuses to download the extra data. Pops up the box that says 1/8 but the bar never moves from 0%.

Is this normal? I switched from the Mogul to the Touch and I constantly get streaming media buffering, etc. and connection drops... I never had streaming issues with my Mogul in the same location of Houston. I mean it could show 1 bar, and I was constantly streaming 99 percent of the time....
Now when I stream I get disconnected off and on every few minutes.. The actually indicator for data transfer goes to idle while streaming and sometimes doesn't recover...
Is this maybe a coincidence, and just sprints data connection is going slow at this hour? (Last night in the same location it worked fine, during the day it goes slow).
Or is it maybe settings based on the Touch? Or hardware? Maybe weaker antenna? I love the Touch, but for me streaming is kind of a deal breaker. I use it all the time on my mogul...
Anyone got an ideas? Suggestions to try?
Also, if this isn't odd enough... If I download a file through IE.. Then run the bench mark while its downloading my speeds go up to 191kbits/sec...
Is this a software issue? And is there a way for me to resolve this?

I avg 400-600 in Houston. I use the DSLreports page to test. i would take the phone back. is it stuck in 1x data vs evdo? the lowest i ever get is 150 and i've had as high as 900 something with 3 bars at my house in Friendswood.
It's strange, cause when I go to other areas in Houston it works fine. Today all of a sudden the streaming has been perfect from my apartment... Like it wasn't even an issue...
Maybe the towers near my house were experiencing slow down.. It just came at the worst time, since I just got the Touch, and my Mogul never had these issues.
I hope it continues, cause it's fine now.. And no way in hell am I sending the Touch back for the Mogul now that Ive gotten used to the touch screen.

I purchased Dungeon defenders HD on my atrix, and sent it to my ATT bill. I got an email confirming the purchase went through seconds later. 30 hours later the app is still "authorizing download" wtf. I left it on all of last night but it didn't download.

this exact same thing happened to me on a different app. It didn't take 30 hours, but it came through eventually. probably too late to get a refund, as I think it's a 15 minute window.

Try calling up AT&T and asking for a refund.
cancel the download then redownload it. Im sure it wont charge you but ask someone here how to do it. I think you go into app history or something. I don't have an atrix and haven't used an android phone for like 3 months.
Had a similar problem today.
Emailed Android Market tech support and they issued me a refund even though it was past the 15 minute mark.

I cancelled the download, but fortunately the market knew I had purchased it, so I still have the option to redownload. I did all the crazy troubleshooting, killing the market, airplane mode on/off, signing in and out of google talk, and THEN I tried to download it again...
It's still authorizing.... WTF

I got a Samsung Galaxy SII I-9100, stock rom, no modification, and no rom update since I bought it.
Since this week-end, I see very frequent data uploads (green up arrow lights up, and network mode changes from 3G to H+). It happens every few seconds/minutes and stays for several seconds or minutes.
Because of that, my phone battery lasts less than a day instead of 2 full days and nights, and it probably also eats my data plans.
I uninstalled all the applications I downloaded, restarted the phone many times, disabled background data and auto-sync, with no success.
I've installed Radioopt Traffic Monitor, I can see the data being uploaded (around 50 KB in 6 hours), but according to the app, it's not send by any application.
The only work around is to long press the power button and disable "Data network mode". But still, I would like to use data and auto-sync without killing the battery (as I was doing before).
Any idea? I heard it might be related to the network itself. I'm on Vodafone Ireland. Might it be anything I installed?

Apps are set to download/update 24 hours a day .
Check each app and turn off its data connection or use an app like Quick Settings to turn mobile data on/off ,

I've found the answer, it might help somebody else in the same case:
I'm on a prepay contract and I had no credit, so I guess the phone was trying to connect to the APN, and the connection was refused, and it was doing this in a loop. After topping up, the problem disappeared.

Same problem with my SGS2 but my phone is not sending 50 KB in 6 hours...but rather 200 MB in 5 hours !
I'm not on a prepaid contract, though.

Hi guys,
I use Netflix a lot to watch movies etc. I noticed over the last 2 days now once I've been watching something for around 45 minutes the display freezes and the audio continues, if I fast forward or rewind it plays again for about a second then freezes the screen again with audio still playing. It doesn't matter if I forward to the beginning, end or start something else it just keeps freezing. I'm thinking that the phone is getting too hot or am I mad? If I let the phone settle down for an hour or so I can then watch again, however once again only for about 45 minutes then the screen freezes again.
Has anyone been watching stuff on Netflix for an hour or longer without having any problems, or maybe using any other forms of streaming video for long periods of times without having any issues.
oooooo perfect timing........i actually had a dentist appointment yesterday where i had to wait for about an hour and 15 min.
i watched almost all of Thor(looked Great on this screen) using netflix and i skipped around at times because i had to talk to people so it picked up and skipped throgh just fine for the hour plus i was using it. now i was on the network and not wifi. have not tried over wifi yet.

Hi, I wonder if anyone could try opening the Vendetta Online game on their MOJO? I've been unable to start it for a couple of weeks now and finally did a factory reset last night but it still didn't solve the problem.
It downloads all the updates but instead of then going to the logon screen it goes straight back to the desktop.
I've logged it with them on their message board but I suppose I should have really asked hre first to confirm that it isn't some problem with my MOJO.
Well I know that this is a couple months after you asked but I tried it out and it seems to be working for me. Thanks for pointing me to Vendetta Online as it looks like a pretty cool game.
