This claims to root any android phone. Only works with windows.
Who will be brave enough to try it?

Is desire Z true multitouch or is it same like desire lack of multitouch?

No, the desire z scores 4 touch points on tests.
IIRC HTC started using a better digitizer since around the time they released the HTC Incredible.

Our phone isn't on the list, but I can look forward to the Z port, right?
I'm hoping that since our phone is based off of the Desire we will get it too. Its the Verizon specific desire. None of the phones they listed are American models either so there is hope!

Lost my htc legend. Anyone know what htc have replaced this with and/or what people would consider to be a comparative phone (for insurance replacement purposes)

If it was my case I wouldn't be able to receive replacement. It really depends in what provider you got your phone from. Usually they will give you a phone that has the exact same contract fees as the one before (only for contract, not sure about prepaid).
However if you are planning in getting a phone similar to the HTC legend in terms of speed, I would choose HTC Wildfire S.

HTC Desire S or Wildfire S.

Buy Desire S - almost the same size as Legend but more screen, CPU and memory. Or wait for news from CES this week

Why not be the best, rather than HTC Legend? How about HTC Incredible S? For him, there are many custom firmware, including - wonderful MIUI and CyanogenMod7. Or wait for something new, but it will have a high cost for a year (at least).

(i know its just the Arc not Arc s)
and what about HTC EVO 3D? 1 gb ram, dualcore cpu, big screen and price around 260 euros (at least here in slovakia)
Its expensive I can't pay much more

i don't know how much does it cost in your country but it's cheaper than desire hd and arc s here
Really ???!!???
Sent from my E15i using xda premium
yes, it's cheap, most probably because HTC thought that it will be bestseller, but nobody wanted it and HTC had already produced many components and they need to sell it out
well it seems that its not that much expensive
but still looking any other choices although i might get the evo3d
Q: what are things that makes evo 3d undesirable????!!!!
its a great phone!!!!!!!!!!! the greatest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would suggest xperia s ..
Cost 450+- here ..

BENCHMARKS score,, XPERIA Z vs Htc butterfly
go here -http://rk00064.blogspot.in/2013/02/sony-xperia-z-vs-htc-butterfly.html
I don't see how this is meaningful here since everyone here already know Z comes with s4pro. Something with similar processor and same res screen would be more meaningful.
thread updated with a new link to htc butterfly vs xperia Z..
