I'm tired to see a lot of posts such as: "Does this have notification power widgets ? " , " Will you include them in the next release?" , "Why don't you have a toggle for this and that ?".
You can get them easily:
Get the latest KANG from here
After flashing it, download this apk, copy it into system/app, change permissions with a root explorer, or whatever you want, reboot and enjoy !
Please stop spamming the dev threads, it's annoying for a developer to read the same requests over and over again.
L.E: I forgot to mention that with the apk, you can customize your power widgets to suit your needs.

Is this a guide? It's just a link to download a CM KANG
What if I don't want to use CM but want to have the notification power widgets?

A Kang + CM settings apk = customizable power widgets.
Why do you want every rom to become a CM rom ? You already have one, a very good one if you ask me.

So the logic here is "Every ROM with notification widgets will become a CM ROM" That's a little bit strange, isn't it?

Thanks... I just get the same feeling as using older CM7 now with that...
it didnt work for me... i copied it ti /system/app and set the permissions (all boxes checked) rebooted and nothing changeddd......

I guess you need to open the CM Settings and enable the notification widgets there.

If you successfully install the apk, you will see CM Setting in apps drawer. Did you see apps updating dialog after your first reboot.

I can't get this to install for the life of me. I've tried several different things including checking all the permission boxes on the CM Settings APK before rebooting..
There's no need to install CMSettings.apk in system.. Just open then file in a file manager and choose Install.
If I open it in a file manager it says Application Not installed. If I open it in Rot Explorer it tells me that there is a problem parsing the package.

Thanks Fusion. I'm used to seeing a pop-up like on the other forums I frequent when I get a PM.
Here's the message in case anyone else gets stuck.
Just move the apk to /system/app and the permissions should me first column check all boxes and second column only first box. Then reboot and fix permissions

You know, as much as I was hoping stock ICS would have toggles in the note drawer, putting the settings button in there and having the most common toggles right at the top has been more than sufficient, and saved a bit of screen real estate in the actual note drawer. That and the music controls. I actually don't think this thing is necessary anymore.

Hey, I made a program with you can resize APKs faster than ever. I haven't got much idea how to test it so I'm giving to you to test and report!
It's coded in VB. NET, which is pretty easy langauge, and source can be found at github.com/galaxyfreak/APK_Resizer. Just click download as zip in corner
It supports : MDPI, HDPI, XHDPI and LDPI.
What it actually does:
1) Extracting the APK to C:\temp
2) Taking highest existing resolution
3) Resizing PNGs and put it in new folder 'drawable-<targetresolution>'
4) Packing new APK named 'resized_<originalname>' at same folder as original APK
5) Deletes C:\temp
Test it and feel free to report and problems.

WTF? This is an Windows tool. You mean for onboard resizing? I don't think so. You can't program Android apps in VB.NET (basic4android is poor)
Yes, of course you can resize on Android.
Not possible ATM though.

So we all want the cool TabletUI or PhabletUI in our phone,But sadly if we change the whole DPI using Dpi changers,it messes up badly. There Are no Paranoid-Android ROMs too.
But who cares! Here it is the way to change EACH App DPI to suite ur need of Tablet or Phablet UI.
Instructions
•Get the Xposed-Framework app from this thread! A big big thanks to the developer.
LINK
•Get the App settings module apk from here --- LINK
•Now Install xposed framework app.

•Install App settings module apk. You will get a notification click on that notification then tick on it to apply and reboot.
•Now u will see an app called "App settings" on the app drawer and go there select your app on which you wanna change the dpi and look. And apply the settings.
•Close the app or kill it if you were using it already.
•Remember i did not test on System apps much so test on them at your own risk.

Nice Man :good: but what about battery life, does it change something (does it drain more than normal UI), and what if I want to turn back on my normal smartphone UI without reflashing any ROM?
For normal just set DPI to 0 and Display to (default) in the app module settings and no battery life same as the normal UI.

-This sense 5 theme pack.
-UCCW and this theme for UCCW.

Procedure:

-After downloading and installing widgetlocker place the widgetlocker theme and my backup in the folder /sdcard/data/com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker/themes and /backup respectively. If these folders aren't available , create them in lowercase letters.
-Open widgetlocker and restore my backup file from the widgetlocker settings.

Trying to get this on HTC desire s running ICS, but on restoring your backup widgetlocker force closes every time. As a test I made a backup of the basic wl theme and that restores okay. I tried renaming your backup to the same format as standard (i.e. date/time) but still no good.
As per OP, HTC sense 5 Go EX theme, UCCW and theme, widgetlocker all installed; wl theme and backup in respective folders.
Any ideas?? Possibly because of the two differing device screens?

u should be able to make the grid size so as u can resize any widget any where on the screen ie 13x13 or 12x12 or 14x14 depending on what widget locker gives u.Select the highest. Also the widget locker theme is the key.It slides from left to right but if the target region is well resized it can be down to up.Will definetly make a tutorial now on this on my youtube channel stay tunned!
Thanks for the suggestion but still unable to restore.. seems like a problem with the backup.
