Actually i've tried MiLocker, but it feels a little laggy some times
While the same program with base rom is very different,
Maybe it's the rom much better from the official one.

Absoluelty horrible Glitch on 2.2 (Please Read)

Hey guys, I found a nasty little bug that has made my epic unusable. Basically if you have all your home screen pages filled up and decide to create a shortcut of an app (in this case it was dolphin browser) from inside the app, Touch Wiz will crash no matter how many time you reboot the phone. All other programs work just fine, however touchwiz will without fail crash. I am trying to find a way around this without reflashing but it looks like that is my only option. Be warned everyone EB13 is not ready for prime time.
Edit: Found a quick work around, just install launcher pro from the market and hit the home button and switch your launcher to launcher pro. Now can anyone tell me how to switch back?
So why not use something other than tw? Why would you load up that many icons on 7 pages? Home Switcher from market...

I didnt I had 3 full pages. Also turns out even turning off touchwiz and switching back to it ruins it. Also not the appropriate place for this but isn't possible to add more homescreens to launcher pro. But thankyou for the advice.

Yes you can add screens to launcherpro by hitting (from launcherpro) menu>preferences>homescreen settngs. To fix touchwiz, hit menu>settings>applications>all, scroll down to TWlauncher cick it, and clear everything.

Sounds like a bug in Touchwiz, not Froyo.
Thank you XDA for helping me through what was pretty much me over reacting.
I would really urge you to play around with Launcher Pro for a while. Try the different settings and see what they all do. I can't imagine using Touchwiz now. I love the way launcherpro both looks and works.

Aug 31st... the first day I had my phone I moved to Launcher Pro and haven't looked back... not a single reason to use TW
Try hitting menu/settings/apps/manage apps/all.
Find twlauncher and clear data and cache. It will likely blow out anything you had on you screens but may allow you to use it again if that's what you are looking for.

TW is for folk who want their phone to feel more iOSish, and if that's what they want, meh. More power to 'em.
I used LP for a long time, but am giving Go Launcher a whirl these days. I kinda like it even more, but...
Ugh, Launcherpro has THE BEST agenda widget on Android. No free widget I've tried even comes close. Really frustrating.

Got my phone in august 31, moved to launcherpro sept 4, havent looked back either, its great, especially with the scrollable dock and all the customizations you can do!!
Meh - LP is pretty good but I suspect most people don't use most of the options, making it kind-of big. I haven't found a better option though. It's pretty darn good.
I use LauncherPro, and I have long since deleted both TouchWiz an the stock launcher from the /system/apps/ folder. It frees up a bit of space.

Yeah this is what I was going to suggest. It WILL delete all your settings related to the launcher.
Why fill your homescreens with apps anyway...talk about cludered ...

He misspelled it. It's actually called Balancer Launcher.
It's ok, I still prefer the Arc and Launcher Pro.
Thx man! just tried it out. I like it. Screenshots are also availabe on the market In order to find it easier - the correct name is "balancer launcher"

Thx looks better with the transparency now. The last one got after rotation the phone with ticked option: "customization/senzor rotation"
The most interesting part is built-in File explorer...
thanks mate.
tried it..pretty good...but i'd prefer the followong in the order mentioned..
1.Arc (stylish )
2.ADW (very custimizable)
3. Launcher Pro (smooth)
4. Balancer (maybe )

It's really nothing special.
For me, it is...
1. ADW
2. Arc
These are the two main ones.

i guess some of its just down to personal preferance, personally i think adw and launcher pro are abit old looking even with themes. i wouldnt even class arc launcher as its just a transparent app tray...android ui needs a makeover imho anyways and the balance launcher just brings something abit different to the table

i like it the built in task killer works great! but the app tray scrollin is very lagy for me
it`s very slow, for me adw launcher ex is the fastest and i have no problems with it
same here with adw launcher ex......my favorite..
Tried most, still prefer adw ex. Have to admit Go Launcher Ex is getting close though.

Recommend me a launcher!

Hey all. I'm currently running SparksCo's v1.1 Stable rom (CM 7.2.0) and everything is great except the lag/stutter I experience when swiping between home screens.
After using ADW for months, I said enough is enough and I am currently using Zeam Launcher, but there still is a slight hesitation/stutter after exiting an app. Miui is buttery smooth 100% of the time and even various Sense roms seem to have consistently smoother transitions than anything i've experienced on vanilla/lightly modified CM roms.
So if anybody has any recommendations, i'm all ears (or rather, eyes). Thanks!
Launcher Pro
Go launcher. Anyday. multiple add one with it like go locker, go widget, go contacts, go sms, go power widget, go notification etc
Hit THANKS if helpful

Not to mention that it is the only commonly used thrid-party Launcher without spyware. Moreover, since the "devs" for Go launcher and Launcher Pro simply steal all of their code from Anderwebs, if ADW has issues for you, so will these.
Stick with ADWEX and play with the settings until smooth. If you run any Go products, cyou might as well write you credit card number on Tiananmen square, because all your personal info, pictures, etc, will be sent to China.

I'm liking Launcher Pro... it's a little plain but simplicity is underrated. Best of all, no lag once it has built its cache. Shame it is no longer being developed though.

I'm a bit of a privacy/security nut, so I took your advice on Go Launcher after reading the broken English on their market page. I'll give ADW EX a try, but for a paid app it'll have to be perfect.

So your one of the boring people who like AOSP huh?
JK lol, AOSP is great actually running cm7 nightly 255 on the shift right now.
But i'd be hurting both your and myself by not recommending ADW EX. Way better than the free ADW on the market that comes with CyanogenMod 7.
Will someone post a link to the cm 7.2.0 thread or download link.

yeah I tried it
its nice and looks like ics, but there is a problem in the labeles of the applications in the app drawer
n its slow
if u want ics theme, crack adw launcher ex and download ics theme.
Or just get Phoenix launcher. Still under development but looks great already. And the widget tab in the app drawer actually works.

you can change the app drawer between vertical and horizontal, or 4D. you can also change the background.
The Xperia Home launcher found in this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1675639
I was utterly amazed when I found this launcher on here.
I extracted it using Titanium Backup, Flashed MikG 3.11, installed Xperia Home and pushed to system apps.
This works very well in unison with the Car-O-Dope tweak as the launcher is quick and smooth to begin with.
I was looking for launchers like A month ago and someone recommended sslaincher and I have fell in love with it I use to be a go launcher Guy but sslaincher is the most customizable launcher you can pretty much make your home screens anyway you want them in any which way if you can imagine it you can do it
