you can also try a miui build. very fast and eye candy.

I can definitely recommend CM7 HyperDroid if you want something dark, minimal and fast. It's also very stable and only needs a 150mb CWM partition.
I second UltimateDroid, it has awesome customization options.
I'm not a fan of sense, but I'd definitely give it a go. HD2 has 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0!
And you could even try MIUI ROMs aswell, they have some really interesting features. And they only need a small (120mb I think) CWM partition which is always good.

Can i put beats audio in a sense rom for the htc wildfire?
Add Beats To Any Sense Rom
No it is absolutely not possible because Beats is only for Sense 3.0 and the link above this post is only for Sense 3.0 devices.

Hello, i just want to ask what do you think is the best working android rom for hd2??
i like dornimanx (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166948)
for it's speed, and is very stable
But if you like sense 3.5 i would go for (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275119)
this one is also very stable and with lots of Eyecandy
My favorite was AmeriCanAndroid's : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1209474
All are going to say their favourite, there is no such thing as best.
It is up to you.
For instance, I prefer HyperDroid.
One more quetion, what apps do you use for GPS navigation on android??

Ics
i like tytung (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860) work fine
So far i've tried only 2 roms coredroid's and mikhei77's. Both are sense roms. I'm thinking of trying non-sense roms. Anyone have suggestions? Sense roms have problem on wifi tethering. I've read Nexus's have a working wifi tethering. How abt others?
For gps navigation i'm using papago x5 sad that it's no longer supported by the developer.

Saying "the best" rom on HD2 u have to be meaning "the best personal choice".
For example i have been trying lots of WM roms before coming to Android.
Tried PRJ Android, didnt like it. Then i came back to WM again.
Finally tried out NexusHD2 GingerBread 2.3.7 and im staying on it and now i recommend it ;] it's really worth a try even only if u are going to change it for another distribution of Android :]

I was searching for the best ROM...unfortunately couldn't find one ...after RCMix3D Runny 4.0 ...so made one of my own ...using Mike's ARHD as base ...added beats, quick settings, APM and a lot more to it ...was wondering if anyone is interested in using it ....
As far my testing goes ...it offers best performance and features in one package ...
If anyone wants to try....will upload and share it )

Sure! I am on ARHD 6.3.3 and would be pleased to try your version.

A couple of things I need to add... Will upload it in a day or two ...next two days busy with work ...have a couple of meetings and presentations...
+ I need to get permission from mike ...coz I used his ROM as base ....

With Virtuous Infinity Alpha 1... Now out ...is anyone still interested in trying age old Sense 3 ???

Sure bro.. Always interested to flash. Highly Tweaked stuff is always interesting Both ARHD and RCMix Runny 4.0 were my daily driver for a long time! I loved those ROMs.. would hurt to try them again
Viruous Affinity still in alpha1.. I'll wait for a week or so till it reaches beta before using it as a daily driver

I'd love to try it. Always up for a new ROM.
Guyz,
I know you people have been waiting for me to release my ROM.. but I am still waiting for mike1986. to give me permission ...because I have used ARHD as a base ...
As and when he gives me the permission.. i`ll share my dropbox / devhost link with you guyz ...
It wouldnt hurt to try out new stuffs.. I could flash it as well, hopefully it has less bugs..
I haven't found any bugs as such....still waiting for mike's permission...so that I can upload the ROM

The main reason I S and ENG OFF my DHD is install tweaked ROM.
Doesn't matter if jellybean is out hell even key lime pie (what other dessert starts with k?) If HTC doesn't release an official kernal, ics will always have some instability. Sense 3.0 is always a fallback.
