[Q] Rooted Kindle Fire now no USB or ADB - Kindle Fire General

Edit: Solved it myself by just deleting drivers in device manager. Sorry!
Hey guys I'm a bit of a noob with this so bear with me if the answer is really simple and I'm just being stupid.
I rooted my Kindle Fire with Burrito root and installed market etc. That all works but now it's not showing up in my computer when the usb cable is connected. I plugged it into a mac and it came up straightaway. Adb was not recognising any device either.
I tried installing the drivers from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399889
No change.
I have tried rebooting and everything I can think of besides doing a full restore which I really don't want to do.
Please help!
Thanks

Q: Usb Loop

Hey all, I think i screwed myself on this one.
So i just got my kindle 6.2.1. After working through the root tuts, i would update my kindle driver and i would get an error. Along the lines of the driver is not recognized on windows x64. so it would not let me update my kindle driver for root.
However after furthering myself to fix the solution.
my kindle all together will not connect to my pc. It will go into usb mode, then loops between the connecting circle and disconnect. My computer only recognizes it as "J" drive and not as kindle altogether.
Im stumped.

Will not mount USB

In TWRP or in the OS, my KF is not mounting the USB like it should. Re-installed drivers and reboots a bunch of times. No luck. I rooted with BurritoRoot, then installed TWRP, and it was running fine. Then I get this. In TWRP now, I have the USB mounted and windows even says "Eject Kindle" but it's nowhere to be found as a drive. Even shows up in the "Devices and Printers" window, but it's just not there... Been through two computers trying to figure this one out...
Wifi File Explorer works and I just verified the cord works with my Evo 3D...
Try uninstalling the drivers first, rebooting, then attach the Kindle and install the drivers. You can uninstall in device manager.
In TWRP, I was getting Cannot load E:\misc! Now I did a reboot and TWRP isnt there anymore...
I've always gotten the /misc error, so that is unrelated. Try the latest Kindle Fire Utility and see if you can get it back. You don't need mass storage to work to use adb as long as your device is recognized by the drivers.
WOOHOOOO!! That did it!! You da man, thanks! Gonna try to run KFU now and see how that goes... Ive always messed with HTC phones, Evo and Evo 3D for my family and friends, this one seems to be a little more involved to get going, but thanks to you, my friend, Im back in business!
KFU is working great, installing gapps as we speak, thanks again, ramige!!

Rooting Kindle Fire and ADB

I'm trying to root a Kindle Fire and I don't know why but I'm having alot of trouble getting ADB and drivers set up right on my laptop. I'm not sure which packages I need to install in SDK manager. When I try to use the adb command at a command prompt it says command not recognized and I'm thinking it's because I don't have the right packages installed or installed right.I didn't have to go through this when rooting a couple other phones I've done.

Thanks so much for the link. I ran it and I'm having a hard time getting it to recognize the device. It said it installed the correct drivers but when I attempt the temp root it will not recognize the device, make sure device is plugged in and turned on.
With kindle unplugged Go into ur comps device manager and remove the kindle fire...then install drivers. Then plug it back in. I had same problem. Windows auto installed some generic driver when I first plugged it in before installing correct driver. If still not working try a diff usb port on computer. Hope that helps
I finally got it. Thanks very much. I finally had to switch computers for some reason to get it to work.

[Q] Stuck on FireFireFire logo slightly diffrent problem

So after reading and trying how others on here fixed that very same problem I deiced its time to make a post and ask for help because those other methods did not work.
Ok I did something stupid and I went ahead and did a factory reset to my kindle. Yes I know it was a complete noob thing to do and I should have known better seeing that I have rooted and flashed ROMs on all my other android devices and never once did something that dumb but I did it this time. Now I do have a back up made and had it safely stored on my PC.
Problem is that I can't get into recovery it stuck on the FFF logo and holding down the button only brings it back up. When the device restarts windows recognizes it as an unknown usb device and won't connect and Adb also wont recognize the device or show that it is connected. So now I need to ask someone who is more knowledgeable then me on what to do next. Any help will be appreciated
Ok update: Was able to solve my own problem using the Kindle fire utility and by uninstalling the drive for the kindle through the device manager, then using the drive install_drivers.bat in the KFU folder to reinstall the drivers. I next unplugged my kindle from the pc, turned it off by holding the button on the kindle in and then restarted it with the usb plugged into the pc. My Pc recognized my kindle and I was then able to use KFUs Bootmode menu and once in there used option 1. to boot it in normal mode. Hope this helps anyone who was stuck like I was. My memory of which adb commands to use was a bit rusty but using the KFU helped with that part.

[Q] ADB will no longer see Kindle Fire ***NEVERMIND**

I had it working about a hour ago and rooted with burritoroot, but now ADB can no longer see the tablet. Any ideas? So far I factory reset the tablet and I'm stuck. USB drivers installed, win.ini and no connection. Mass storage works but ADB is at a loss...
When I hook my phone up, ADB sees it no problem, when I hook up the Kindle, nothing.....
I'm pulling my hair out here..........
edit...........ok I'm a dumbass I fixed it by mistake.
you should try manually installing the drivers again sometimes it doesnt work all the time but if that doesnt work you should also try installing kindle fire utility and installing drivers from there
lol didnt see you awnser it yourself
