Synchronizing Google Tasks to the S Planner - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

I'm a heavy user of Google Calendar and just bought my Galaxy Note yesterday. After setting up my Google Account (which has my Tasks and Events data) and synchronizing all the data, I found that the S Planner showed me only Events and not Tasks. I have tried testing if the problem is only one way ie. from Google Calendar server to Note but the problem persists the other way round. And because of this I'm forced to use the GTask app despite having such a wonderful app, the S Planner, for my task maintenance.
Please advice.
Thanks in advance.

I also needed this but doesn't look like there is a way out.

Do reply back if you find a Solution.
The S Planner Task Widget is cool. It spans the whole Screen so you can use it effectively. But I need to be able to access the Tasks from my PC too preferebly in Google Tasks.

I'm happy with the gtask app. For the widget, you can use Pure Calendar, that shows both, events and tasks from gtask.

Jorte stopped syncing to google

After I updated to froyo the sync from jorte to google stopped working. When i creat a new event in jorte it never shows up at google calendar. But i can see it in the stock android calendar. creating an event in stock calendar syncs to google ok. Jorte does sync from google calendar.
Tried reinstalling jorte, and also tried clear data in "calendar storage". still same problem..
I have the same problem.
After upgrading to JPC (see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769400 ) no tasks that are created with an third party app ar synced with Google
I use also some other Apps (Quickaddroid, Log 2 Calendar)
But no Task is synced. After editing with the Stock Calendar the Tasks ar synced but this cant be the Solution
Any Ideas?
Have also tried an Factory Reset and Disk cache wipe but no success.
Problem is froyo beta

So there is no chance to bring it to work with Froyo Beta?
Then i have to flash back and downgrade
It is Mandatory for me that Cal sync with everey app works.
No Workaround known??
Same for me, sigh.
No Workaround known?
has this been fixed yet?
- New events created in Jorte (use google calendar mode) -> not synced to Google calendar, but does show up on stock calendar
- New events created in stock calendar -> sync ok all Jorte, Google cal, Stock cal
- New events created in Google calendar -> show up in Jorte, stock cal
It seems like this problem is quite widespread, but there doesn't seem to be a solution. I'm having the EXACT same problem as described above and have found many similar issues posted on other boards, but no one seems to have an answer.
For the time being, I'm only using Jorte as a calendar viewer and entering events in my stock calendar. A bit of a nuisance, but that's the only way I can ensure everything's synced and showing up everywhere.
Okie dokie, I think I figured it out, at least in my instance of the problem anyway.
It was my task killer. I rarely turn my phone off and hadn't realized that it killed my Accounts & Sync process so when I restarted my phone I made sure to add it to my ignore list and VOILA, problem solved.
Hopefully most everyone else was experiencing the same problem and can fix it this way.

calendar wont sync

Hi, I tried searching for something like this on xda and I couldn't find anything. On my galaxy s2 the calendar app just doesn't sync with my Google mail account. I go into calendar it asks me to go to he Google account sync setting to sync calendar, even though the tick box for sync calender is checked, I click sync now anyway. After it has finished I go back to the calendar app, and it asks me to do the the same thing again. My contacts and even wallpaper form my old phone were synced propyl from my Google account but not my calendar. I just can't seem to find any reason why it isn't working. I've never had any problems like this before on my old rooted htc desire, where was flashing new roms weekly, so why on my galaxy s2. Would someone be able to help me please?
Just wanted to say I have the same problem, hopefully someone can help us.
I think it might be the Samsung social hub, together with the inability if kies to sync with google, and an assumption that you might want to use kies (or a lack of testing with the google calendar)
Try removing your social hub facebook account, and maybe deleting all the calendar data on the phone (under settings/applications/calander) so long as you are confident you have nothing stored locally without a backup.
I find the social hub facebook integration useless at the moment, since it doesn't hide declined invitations for me, so I'm going back to trying the google integration (which means i get birthdays spamming my calendar instead)

I have never used the Social Hub or Kies or even set any calender events on the phone itself but just clearing the calender data did fix the problem, and my Google calender events started syncing.
Thanks

Hi, i had the same issue and i am using a uk generic rom unrooted. problem seems to have corrected itself now. Wat seemed to cure it for me was to sync over my mobile network instead of wifi.

i also had this problem. i fixxed it within checking apps and delete the calendarfiles completely. after this the sync worked. its a problem of google, which have some android users (not only sgs2)

In the manual it says splanner cannot be backed up to google. That's a shame as I quite liked it.

The S-Planner CAN be backed up to google, if you sync your google calendar in the S-Planner.

Yes I agree but irritatingly when you then enter diary events it uses the my diary (splanner) as default and you have to manually select the google account for each entry or did you find a way around this?
Any idea how to link google tasks to s-planner? Because no matter what I do, when I try to add a new task with it, it doesn't find my google tasks only this Samsung task....
Thank you for your help everyone!

Looking for an adjustable Calendar widget/program

I totally love my Note 3 and I have rooted and romed it but my biggest problem is that I need a decent calendar in monthly widget form. The best one I have found so far unfortunately is the Samsung S-Planner. Samsung castrated it when it comes to features from the Note 2 version of it but it is still the best out there.I have tried aCalendar+, Business calendar, Jorte, and Google calendar but keep going back to S-Planner.
I have been trying to find a widget that gives me a monthly calendar with all my appointments that I can link to S-planner so I can finally switch to a different launcher and say goodbye to Touchwiz forever. Of course the best would be a way to get the S-Planner widget on a different launcher but I don't think that is possible.
I have installed Zooper Widget and UCCW but I am not able to find a monthly calendar that fits my requirements
Any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:laugh:
Try Today - Calendar Widget

Touch calendar. Come with adjustable widget and functions very similar to splanner. Sync with Google and all the appointments sync. I've used it when going to asop and such and been very happy.

Xiaomi black shark 2, settings keep reverting to default?

Hi, as mention in my tittle, my settings keep reverting to default as if the changes don't get saved. For e.g. Assessibility, I have changed setting to enable apps with gestures to have access but after a few hrs. It request for the same permission. The same occurs with Google play games and I can't access it in battery saver mode? Is this a bug or something? Currently using JOYUI, most updated version.
Yep, this has been brought to their attention. It's been documented.
Google Calendar not syncing {option does not even appear}
When I look into permission manager or battery management, I always allow "googleCalendarSync" and all other google services to be check. Especially for autostart features. However, I just can't seem to get the calendars to sync. When I look it over under accounts> google> calendar does not appear at all. I have contacts, play services etc but not for calendar? Does anyone know what is wrong with it ? or has a fix assuming its googleCalendarSync issue?
Is it on demo mode? Hmm

its not on demo mode, I own a xiao mi mi 6 so I am familar with the battery management features and auto-start permission to allow notifications from telegram, email and whatsapp. All works except calendar where under SYNC, google, calendar does not appear at all. I also can't add other calendars under the default calendar app. Any updates fixing this?
You can fix the calendar sync issue by first uninstalling rhe google calendar sync in apps list, then install google calendar from play store.
Once that is done, the other calendar accounts will appear in your calendars app
