Thats nothing odd. They have traditional holidays in between 20. to 28. then also in February and March . Postal
services use week or two before shipping the
package from China (normally around a week).
This isnt good time to order anything from China .
Holidays in the People's Republic of China :
1 January – New Year's Day
2 January – New Year's Day Holiday
Chinese New Year – Second New Moon following the
Winter Solstice – Late January or February
1 May-3 May – Labour Day

With that one you'd have to use a separate cable, of course.
Sadly all docking stations don't have a built in magnet so that the defy enters the docking mode automatically. But you can glue a small magnet into the dock. The position of the sensor can be seen here:
You just have to test the polarity. One side will open car dock mode the other one the media dock mode.
Will b posting utube vid. Later tonite. Got it today.

Motorola Defy Kidigi Cradle Dock with 2nd battery charger from ebay. I got it with free shipping all in all ill give it 8 out of 10. Feels good not as cheap as i thought it would feel.Good quilty feel to it. nice and compact size. looks and feels great. 2 points takes off beacuse as u see in the vid even with a super thin case it wont charge. i know i shouldnt expect it too but the case is so thin i didnt think it would make a differnce. Good job Kidigi.
enjoy !
Looks good. Thanks for the Vid. So far as the lack of a magnet goes, aside from the obvious -- you can use the shortcut to activate the desk dock profile, I use a launcher that allows my home screen to rotate anyway. So, I'll likely get one.
Im confused on what u need the magnet for. Is it to rotate the screen? Mine rotates by itself. That wasn't my cell I was using. Mine was the 1 recording. I use launcherpro. Rotates everything for me. No magnet needed.! Also currently using ADYclock for a night stand clock which also rotates itself. Works great! Home keys don't go off thou :0/

Yeah, I use Launcher pro also. I was referring to another post that seemed concerned about the magnet. If one doesn't use a different launcher or have a magnet... you can make a shortcut to launch the desk dock app by using BetterCut or something similar. But the cradle looks good and I presume it charges the battery OK?

It is for changing to car dock mode (Menu - Car mode) and to home dock mode (Menu - Clock), depending on the polarity of the magnet.
In this way you don't have to press or start anything to get the car mode and the clock / weather mode when the phone placed in a cradle / holder.
I think car mode is not supported in every ROM, but you can try these with a magnet.
Charges good. I like it. The two lil led lights are bright though. I just placed electrical tape over and everythings good. Good purchase!

I'm not thoroughly convinced that I need a keyboard with my device, but if I was going to buy one, it would have to be either very small or very thin. Why tote around a keyboard that's just as large as the tablet?
Any ideas?
Of course, there's always this: http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/keyboards-mice/8193/
(if it was ever in stock again).
I am currently using the Acer wrapping with an Incase faux-fir slip case, so I'd hope that it would be low-profile enough to fit in there.
I am curious as well. what are the best keyboard/case combis that we can get
If you give me 24 hours I think I may have a pretty small keyboard that may work for us. I just need to test it first to make sure the BT connects properly. Feel free to contact me 'if' I forget to hop on and post findings

I also wonder if one of these will work right. May order one just to try - would be great for travelling, just roll it up and shove it in your suitcase.

Also, a prerelease product info page on an interesting BT fold-up keyboard:
https://jornostore.com/
that jorno is nice but not for that much!!!! you can get a flexi keyboard bluetooth on amazon for around 30
I was considering getting the Motorola atrix keyboard.... i have the atrix so that with bluetooth on the tablet would work fine specially considering the android function buttons..
I have the Moto keyboard (Link) and for the most part it's a very nice unit. The only real issue with it is the massive bump in the back where they put the batteries and whatever else they have packed into it, that and not all the short cut keys work, but I am not sure that is the keyboard.
It's worth the purchase, and is very nice on the plane, but I find myself not carrying it locally just due to size. The Jorno looks like a great compromise for when I am more local but want to slam out a page or two...

Sure, it's not going to be the world's greatest keyboard, but I'm really just looking for decent yet portable. If I really need something more, I've got a Logitech K340 that works great. It's not bluetooth, but Logitech's USB receivers are so small anymore that it really doesn't detract at all.

Stand is great, but unfortunately the keyboard doesnt work natively, it uses spp, which you have to purchase a 15 dollar app to use it with the tablet, and the app is a piece of junk, returned the keyboard, now i gotta find a new one

I have two/three faint white /yellow lines running vertically down the screen, (look where the line separates GPS & sound and follow it all the way down) just reliased it last night watching a movie...Took it to CPW today compared to the one they had on display. They confirmed it but found that SGS2's were ALL sold out in central London and only place they had left was St.James Park and told me to wait until next week giving me a phone number for stock supplies and told me to ring and reserve one at my CPW when it was available. Looks like its very popular =)
Have a look yourselves, also I really don't know what to do, send it back whenever they get it in stock or wait for the SGS 2 with NFC in and then get it replaced...Will the original U.K SGS 2 get phased out in time? & will NFC phones be same price and that an exchange be possible?
Meantime see if you guys spot anything weird on your screens. Can see it best if you have the notification bar all the way down. Sorry for the bad quality photo.
What shall I do? NFC then swap it for a new one? Or do it next week? :S
I've been starting at this for a while and I can't see anything. ¬_¬
Think you need a bigger picture tbh
Screen is still purrrrrrrrrfect here.
lol carnt see note, and whats with the nfc???? it will be a while till that ever gets used in the uk (an almost pointless feature if you ask me).

Type *#0*# on the dialler and bring up one of the screen tests to get a clearer picture for us.

If I take my goodwill glasses on there might be a slightly brigher line of pixels running down the path he is talking about.
OP, after staring at your second batch of pics for quite a while I can see what you mean but it is soooooo unnoticeable I really had to make an effort to discover it. I doubt if I had it on mine I would notice it. Perhaps its more noticeable in person? If not then maybe the reason everyone says its perfect.
If its quite noticeable I would get a replacement till it is not there.
Definitely noticeable in the second set of pics. Easily.
dk206 - from the pics you posted it seems like the left half of your screen is darker/slightly different colour than the rest of the screen, is it just my imagination or you can confirm it?
Asking because I posted about this problem, which I'm having with my SGS2.

Thanks. Yes you're right guys photos don't do any justice. You guys need to come see it. The guy at the CPW saw it straight away and told me to queue up for a replacement but non in cpw in central london now. All sold out. They put my visit on the system so I don't have to explain and waste my time next time I pop in for thr replacement. But I haven't dexided whether to go now or go when NFC sgsII arrives which hopefully will be in 2weeks time? :s

I take notes at meetings and at school. So I'm gonna give this a try. We really lack a good note taking app though. Tab notes is the best so far and its not that great compared to one note.
I'd really love to use a stylus for sketching - could care less for note taking. But sketching would be great - only problem is, the tab isn't all that responsive - I mean, don't get me wrong - it's great. It's just wasn't built with that kind of functionality in mind... Which is unfortunate.
Still though, I'll get one eventually.
You know, I thought the same thing. I would draw something and the line would follow after. Using tabnotes it doesn't do that. I was looking for a mod to increase screen polling or responsiveness but nothing.
I ordered one, still no shipping info and no response to my email, oh well glad I paid with PayPal, if I don't hear anything in a few days, I will file a complaint with PayPal.

Mine shipped a day or two ago. These daily deal sites are slow.
The the BEST I've used.
DAGi P504. Don't have a link just Google. Transparent tip is mounted on a spring so no matter what angle your holding it, it will make contact. Very precise. I like it a lot better than the old style which you hat to hold at only one angle & much better than the eraser type.
Pointed tip Stylus?
Does anyone know of a stylus with a pointed rubber tip like the HTC Flyer one only usable on the A500? I would like one for some of the drawing programs and just can't get used to the rounded oversize points on most generic stylus.
Thanks
That's a nice stylus. I wonder if it does.

I think a USB keyboard in this form factor would be fantastic, less battery consumer, and it shouldn't be so hard with the USB-host support, I'm right?
Why we don't suggest it to Nuu?

I don't know but there was no other port on that phone and I don't believe that anyway, if there really was an hdmi port why wouldn't he have pictures to support what he is saying? Instead he goes to sleep says pictures are coming yeah right we've all heard that before! Now watch he won't be back for a week

You don't see the port? It's right next to the holographic 3d digital display screen that sits just under the normal screen we use, tear your phone apart it's really there!

Mate, this is quite retarded
:unimpressed:
I believe the rumor was that some developer units had a HDMI port under the left tpuchpad.
So unless he has a developer unit, there is NOT an HDMI port on his Play.
I also recently took apart every inch of my play looking for a port, with no luck whatsoever.
