Ive tried searching this topic but couldnt find anything on it, so i thought i'd ask. I'm currently running the RCMix3D Runny Sense 3.5 rom and noticed that the volume button as shutter button for the camera tweak isn't working. Am i the only one that's having this problem or are there others? If so, is there anything that can be done to get it to work? The help would be greatly appreciated..

i flashed yesterday the new Project V rom and noticed the camera zoom doesnt work...
i tried flashing Captivate's camera but still it does not work...
has someone with this rom experienced the same probelm? is there a way to fix this? (except the obvious one...)

Yeah.. it absolutely works. You are pressing the volume keys right OP?
Try taking a pic with the power button to see if that helps.

What ROM are you using? It works flawlessly for me in CM7
Hacked apk works for me on faux rom.

I am on Royal Ginger 2.1 and that link is the same thing I tried running. Maybe it will be fixed in RG 2.2

i don't have anyone to try it with. The reason i'm interested in this app is my cousin is in the USMC and it'd be nice for me to see their baby when it's born. They'll both be stationed in Europe and i won't get to see the little guy till he is like 4.
I'm also running Virtuous Unity but I am having problems installing the APK. I keep getting an error "there is a problem parsing the package".
- Can someone post the APK that works? I'm thinking that my install issues are due to the extracting the rar file.

It works on virtuous unity rom. But the image is upside down if I hold the phone vertically. Landscape mode is ok though.

Heya, i think i have a problem with my gs2, basically when im scrolling it feels like it doesnt recognise my swipe until i get half way across the screen, well not so much half way across but it seems to lag and stutter a bit.
Is anyone else having this issue?? Is there anyway to correct it??
Im on ke7 at the moment, didnt wanna update cos ive got my 4th screen as default and apparently that trick dont work with newest firmware.
Its just a really niggly problem thats starting give me the 'ump.

There's a touchscreen fix in the development section. Install the apk there and follow the instructions.

In fact it's a feature for better differentiate simple clicks from scrollings, so Samsung will probably have it in all his firmwares, and you'll have to install the fix on every wipe(it isn't permanent).
Well ive tried it and it still feels the same, quite juttery on homescreens??
App drawer and menu is fine its just a prob with the homescreen being juttery.

Hi all
I've upgraded to every version of 2.3.4 (leaked of course). But somehow my TW4 launcher homescreen pages stutter, more so when scrolling left to right. I don't know whether any of you have come across something like this coz I couldn't find such a problem in the ROM threads.
Well I could only think of one solution for this. Replace TW4 2.3.4 with 2.3.3. I don't know if it would work but that's my best bet.
In order for me to try this out can someone please upload the file with it's odex counterpart. I'm afraid I don't have it. Looked everywhere but couldn't find it.
Probably my last option would be to flash back to a 2.3.3 rom and get it from there. I hope you all would help me out before that.

Download a custom 2.3.3 rom with TW4 and extract it .
Or search the dev threads where the old/removed apps are posted .
Might even be in Themes section .

The problem with custom ROMS is that they are all deodexed. Since I'm using stock kg6, I don't think they're gonna work.
Maybe I'll try searching again when on my computer.

I have a stutter on my menus, but not all the time.when it starts it makes the phone pretty bad to use.
Was thinking of upgrading from kf3 to kg6 to see if that helped. Factory reset didn't.
Maybe this task manager widget is causing my problems to too. But does your stutter happen only on home screen. When mine happens it affects everywhere.

I tried this customizable tw launcher before, probably an earlier version, but it just gave me constant crashes and freezes. The program monitor widget doesn't work on it. Needs a modified version of it.

OP updated with a method to root stock EH06.
I updated today and am generally pleased. It is fast, no lag, some improvements in appearance.
Sadly, the keyboard is still an issue. It misses letters like before.
The biggest miss is the "Logs" on the Talk screen. It remains unconsolidated, unlike a true Gingerbread device. My son's Nexus consolidates the Log to one entry per contact, then you click them to see the activity. With this, if you trade 20 texts with someone, you get 20 lines of the same person. It was utterly ridiculous in a beta version and to still have it in 2.3.x is just inexcusable.
Aside from that though, all is smooth. Used Odin to root with CWM, flashed SU, and life is better.
UPDATE: GPS will not lock. When it does and it loses it, it won't come back. Also, there is no "back" function on the stock browser. Hitting the previous screen key closes the browser.
I've tried this on windows xp and my epic got bricked i can get into download mode, but the only pc that recognizes my epic is the same that bricked it, really don't know what to do, i can't odin it to stock rom or any rom, i'm kinda desperate, can anyone help me please? thanks a lot!

I saw you commented on YouTube... I cant reply to YouTube comments on my phone sadly. If you can get into download mode you're not bricked. Try a different cable. Listen to the tips I say at the beginning of the video.

Yes try different usb ports as well... re install drivers.. try it without sd card in as well.. and try it without battery in.
finally i've got it to work again! and believe it or not, with odin! thanks a lot!!
