I have looked everywhere. How do I get a lock screen on my kindle fire where I installed CM7. When I boot it automatically goes to home screen.
Look under CyanogenMod settings > Tablet tweaks and uncheck "Disable lockscreen."
Sorry. Was a stupid mistake. Flashed CM9 and my fire kept re-booting

I'm stuck on the boot screen. was playing with the wallpapers and when I rebooted, the kindle became frozen on the boot screen. Can anyone here help me?
Kindle Fire keeps Frozen
I got the same issue with "Kindle Fire" shown after power ON/OFF, no matter how many times to run hard reboot. Have also tried a number of time with adb reboot, but in vain. Suspect to be issue caused by install a "Go Launcher" with incorrect version. Any way to uninstall the "Go Launcher", whilst I can't see the exact file or version name from Kindle Fire.

Try to hard reset (hold power button for 20+ secs)
If it doesn't work, try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1356257
Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and I have a major Kindle Fire issue on my hands. I searched the forum for the last two days and found similar issues but nothing that exactly address what I'm dealing with:
I have a Kindle Fire running 6.2.1. I rooted it about a week ago using Burritoroot. I wanted to install TWRP and CM7 using the Kindle Fire Utility. I downloaded version 0.9.1 and ran the installdrivers.bat. Then I ran the "Install latest TWRP recovery" option. My Kindle rebooted and froze at the "Kindle Fire" logo screen. The utility got to "Waiting for devices, if it hangs here then reboot a couple of times." I rebooted but it always went right back to the logo screen and nothing happened. I disconnected it and shut it down because I had to go to work.
The next day I tried to boot the Kindle up and it wont even boot at all (after charging all night!) If I plug it into my PC then the sound chimes and the bubble pops up saying "Installing device driver software, Android ADB interface." followed by "Android ADB interface installed." In the device manager the Kindle does not show up at all. Not even as unknown device or anything. While the Kindle is plugged into the PC via the USB cable the "Kindle Fire" logo screen just flashes constantly. If I unplug it, the screen goes dark and pressing the button doesn't do anything.
I'm sorry if this post is long and perhaps I overlooked a potential solution to this problem but I'm freaking out that I somehow bricked my Fire. Please help!!

Hey guys, I just had my nexus 7 flashed with CleanROM 1.2 and also chose to install the Tablet Mode mod by barrmulio...
Tab does not boot the first time i switch it on. I'll have to long-press the power button to get it up and running...
I also updated it to the alpha 3 build but it still yielded the same result.... Is this a bug or is it a conflict between CleanROM and the Tablet mode mod?
Any help much appreciated!
My N10 won't get past the lock screen. When I try to unlock the screen turns black and returns to the lock screen. I have tried rebooting and tried opening to Google Now or settings with no success. I am running rooted stock Android and haven't flashed anything in over a month. Any ideas?

I fixed it. I cleared cache and fixed permissions in TWRP and it was good as new. I'm not sure what happend.
I rooted my Note and all was good for a while, but i think i must have changed a setting in Wanam Xposed, but i can't put my finger on what...Whenever I restart my Note, I go through the boot animation and then the lockscreen shows for a brief second before it goes into a second boot. The animation is the same both times (I have changed my boot animation in the system folder). I'm not sure why it started doing this. Any help would be appreciated.

I started having the same issue on a 100% stock phone. Found resolution here (not enough posts for a link yet): androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-note-3/791631-note-3-booting-boot-so-nice-does-twice.html. Turning off "Always allow scanning" from the advanced wifi menu stopped mine from booting. It almost seems like the first time it boots it crashes and has to reload TouchWiz or something. Not sure how the wifi scanning affects booting, but it worked for me.
