Google Nexus S - Unlocked Phone - US Warranty - Black $349.99 (free shipping) - Member-Found Deals

I think it's a decent deal for a brand-new phone, seeing these go for about $300 or so on here.

This is a T-Mobile version which is not as desirable or resellable as AT&T version.

The description says I9020A but the 3g band in the description is that of TMo 3G... WTH

It's buy.com so no surprises

Actually phones with the 1700 band are more desirable because they are less common.

No offense, but your comment makes no sense whatsoever. AT&T is much larger network with more users, not to mention Canadian networks (Rogers), hence larger demand commands higher prices.

Nope. Not even close. They won't have a yes or no until at least next April, and even then I'm not sure they will know exactly what they will do, but I'm sure by this years end we should have a good feel for how the answer is going to fall. I personally hope it falls through.

Which T-Mobile? T-Mobile USA? UK? Germany? They're all different companies! The UK one is now owned by Orange, for example!
The world, and the cellphone carriers, are a lot bigger than the USA, y'know.

Just unboxed my Note 2 :)

So far I am loving this phone. Every aspect of the device is an upgrade. I purchased it through MobiCity on Amazon. I live in the US and have ATT service. I understand that this version will not do LTE, and having LTE in the past i wasn't that impressed with it, due to the fact it hogs the battery and with data plans like they are hspa+ does great.
I havent gotten my new sim card yet but i was curious to know what the reception and data speeds would be like If anyone else has ATT with this model. The firmware version is XXALIE.

Enjoy!
I'm right here on the fence whether to buy or not from the sellers at Amazon or not. I always prefer to buy directly from Amazon or the OEM (Samsung). But the launch date is so freaking away from now, I can't wait...
You have guts tho son, you bought from the seller that just launched:
click me for list of Amazon Sellers selling the Grey version
I want the white one, it's on amazon as well for 20 bucks more - I hear finger prints and smudges are less noticeable on the white one. I have an iphone as well so I already have the micro sim. You don't need a new SIM, you can cut yours out if you want. Them regular cell stores should have the SIM cutters that can cut out yours to the propper measurements; that's what I did, never did contacted my carrier for a new SIM.

Grats and enjoy it! I thought about jumping on the UK version, but I myself have a hard time justifying such a large purchase without LTE. I am on Sprint but will be making the switch to ATT once the phone releases to get on thier HSPA+/LTE since I am in St. Louis and that's one of their most supplied networks.

Are you on T-Mobile also? My wife's HTC One X also does better signal wise than my N4 in certain areas. I assume it is because her phone is a LTE phone and mine is not. We are with AT&T, and being on the LTE network vs HSPA is like night and day.

No, you are wrong about official, which is why it is disabled by default. I know it will work in limited areas, but it doesn't have the FCC approval to be sold as an LTE phone. Officially it is not a LTE phone, even though it has some hidden limited capability.

"Can be made to work with LTE" is a very very different thing from "fully supports LTE".

ahandlen003 said:
Not to be redundant to other posts but in reality its not different. "fully supports" can be classified as working on networks that have lte which the nexus 4 does. Just because we have to change a few settings doesnt mean it doesnt fully support lte. I get full 4g everywhere i live. I consider that to be fully supportive.

I guess that your definition of "fully supported" is very different to mine.
My definition wouldn't include the possibility of having to stick to old radios/ROMs to make a feature work, and it would include the possibility of ensuring Google help if there was a problem with that feature.
