[Q] Kindle Fire (root) Android Market download Erroe - Kindle Fire General

Hi Guys,
I hope you can help me to finally fix this.
I got my Kindle Fire last night updated to ver 6.2.1. After that I managed to root the device using the latest Kindle Fire utility and installed the google Apps including Andorid Market Bulid 3.3.11.
Now I can start it but everytime I just pick up an App to install it failes saying:
'' Error : ... could not be downloaded due to an Error''
How do I fix this?
Meanwhile I tried to install Apps via Browser but there is no Kindle Fire device listet in there so I could send the App to it!
I am so confused with this please help me !
Thx
regards
Mjay

After hours of wiping, clearing caches and installing various versions of the Google Frame work and Google Market place I found this thread and it works now! Thanks a lot, made my day. Do you know by any chance how to securly upgrade the Market place?
Edit: I downloaded the 3.4.4 Market place from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1391565, removed your working version, copied the new version to system/app and changed permission. After installation of the new version and a reboot the new version works now as well!

How do I know what version of Marketplace is installed?
I have the same "due to an error" message.
I don't understand the "goto applications - look for market - select and clear cache, clear data, force close - start market again" instruction, where is "applications" ?

After Market update, can't download many apps

Recently my hyperdroid gbx Market updated automatically. After the update, I found that many apps I can use before are not able to download now. It always said "Your device is not compatible with this item". Do anyone know if I can revert to the old version of Market?
Thx.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Yes, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications -- Find Market, hit Uninstall updates ..
And you'll get your old market back. However, the second you open it, it will close and update itself to the latest.
You have two ways to pass that:
1- Using TB Pro, Freeze Market Updater.
2- Remove MarketUpdater.apk from /system/app/ (of course after making a back up)
Oh, it works.
Thank you very much!!!
tried it , and now getting a diffrent problam

Make sure you have access to internet from different applications.
Also, try clearing the cache from settings and cwm.

Did you try reinstalling the rom or using the old market, you can download it in the first post of the rom. It's. Strange I don't have this problem I can buy and install with market.
Here is the link to a older version of my rom try it , if this works just flash the latest one over it , don't wipe anything.
MIX_3C3 = Default A500 font and digits , SuperUser3.02 , Netflix1.4.1+rotation, Market 3.1.6 for beter layout on tablets , linktoFacebook app , Hulu-plus.apk , Updated GPS v2.1 config .
Download Link MIX_3C3:http://www.multiupload.com/FSI4Z9LO5V
checksum:99009A0F4B02CBC36D89CEF630C24F57 *Civato_MIX_3C3.zip
Older version: (for people that want the old market version)
Download Link MIX_3C1: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=88S2IT10
checksum: B55FDB9166F73F6883EB8A2E437D5643 *Civato_MIX_3C1.zip
3C1 : Superuser3.0 (will update in market),, Linktofacebook , Netflix1.4.1+ rotation , Market (default A500 market) , GPS V2.0 config. (NO Hulu-plus apk)
but if this works flash the 3B5 or 3C5 over it and let me know . If this still doesn't work pm me !
had the same issue on the same ROM, but this is typically what I do anytime there's any market issue with almost any ROM. first, clear market data & cache, remove finsky.apk (if it's there) and vending.apk from /system/app (sometimes get an FC at this point. it's fine). reboot, add a fresh 3.1.6 version of vending.apk to /system/app, make sure the permissions are correct (either manually or from CWM), and reboot again.
civato's fix works (well it's his ROM, it should work ) but incase you don't want to change anything other than the market itself and you're comfortable changing system files, this method usually works too if done correctly.

[Q] can't download anything from market

this just happened recently ... I can't download anything from market .... all I get it this message (error processing purchase) .....
can anyone help?? any ideas?? note that I have 3.1 rooted rom on iconia a500
This seems to happen a lot with the 3.2.0 version of the market. There are a few methods to fix it:
1) Remove your account from your tablet, and then reboot and re-add your account. This sometimes works with some people,
2) If that doesn't work, it could be an issue with the 3.2.0 version. You can try and remove it and install 3.1.6 - Here is a link with some instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1284647
Thank you very much , but do you know how to uninstall the existing market ?? It wont let me

The link provided tells you how too. You don't really uninstall the old one. You just replace the vending.apk file and reboot your tablet. Make sure you do a backup first though!
I had a problem due to my own stupidity. I updated Civato mix with a one of his newer roms. I screwed market and despite several tries with various advice found in these forums I wound up installing Vending.apk and Finsky.apk.
I followed the usual instructions for a normal vending replacement.
Worked fine.
I discovered Finsky.apk was also being removed when attempting to delete Market via Titanium backup.

Need help testing! New Market fix for Archos Gen 8

Hello guys from xda-developers,
i need some help from you.
After installing arctools and installing i found out, that the market doesn't shows any apps anymore. So i tried the market fix and it doesn't work. So i tried new ways of doing the fix. And i found something different. The Market app has the option to uninstall updates.
So here is what i need from you:
- The new market fix which worked on my Archos 43 with UrukDroid 1.5, no updates.
Go to the Market app as normal in the fix, but now you only uninstall the updates!
As second step you go to Google Services Framework and delete the data.
Then you Force close it.
Now you reboot the device and start the market.
If it works you will have more apps.
Warning: Only Users who know what they do should do this!
I also give no guarantee that it works. I hope it works
If it works, tell me here in this thread.
If i'm in the wrong forum please tell me that. I can't write in the developer forum, as i don'T have posted 10 Posts
Thank you for testing,
Mike Leitner
Hi,
I have got an A43 IT with Urukdroid 1.5 and market version 3.3.11. When I try to uninstall the updates, it first says, my market was now downgraded to version 3.0.26 but after the reboot it again says it was version 3.3.11 and everything is the way it was before.
Did you do anything before uninstalling? Like clearing cache or force closing the market or similar?
greetings
ma-shell
this worked with me but i did not clear Google Services Framework data
i have an archos 43 it with urukdroid 1.6

If you used Vending.apk try out com.amarket.apk instead. I was having the same issue before I switched. Also try clearing cache and data from the app, under Manage Applications. That has worked on the Amazon App Store when I had installs hang.
