I was wondering today if there is a way to have access at glonass satellite system..I saw that there is an app called High Fidelity Position(by samsung) witch is only working on wp7 mango phones..Does anybody know if there is a similar app in cab form or if someone can convert this app from xap form to cab..

ALK have finally released the update to their CoPilot Live 7 GPS navigation software. An update is available from their support team to make the program compatible with the HD's 800x480 screen resolution.
I've updated the compatible programs list in the wiki and am now off to put the squeeze on my credit card.
Thanks to Cheezy Dave (and anyone I didn't see) for spotting this.
I'm not sure GPS software makes the best Valentine's day prezzie, but I might be able to use it while driving to the store

Hi, im still new to the whole GPS in the xperia.
i understand that theres a chip inside the xperia that allows the detection of satellite.
Now ive been looking for a GPS application that supports USA road map.
i have download ttn7.915.9196.vga_black (tomtom7) but found out in the official site that it does not have US maps.
Does anyone else know other brand of GPS apps that supports xperia and also allow downloading(purchasing) of US maps?

NOTE: Does the xperia support tom tom navigator 6???? if so does anyone have the link for ttn6 or any search keyterms?

Is there a cab for the Ig8 or ,as i see on the site, buy the SD card that contains the map?
I'm using TTN 6.x on my x1. i have to set it up so that first i use wvgafix3 to adjust my devices resolution, then launch ttn. i got it used of ebay for 30 bucks, and i am generally pleased with it.

Did anyone try using the software from a Navigon PND (not the Mobile Navigator) on a HD2? If so, what was your experience?
Since the base OS on both the devices is windows based and I like the routing algorithm of Navigon, I wanted to try it, but before doing that I wanted to know if anyone has already tried that.....

I bouth Hd2 primarly for GPS navigation,because of screen size.
1.I would like to run NAV IGO 8 and I have downloaded torent version 8.3.4.117940 (Nov.3.2009) is there any new one available for download today?
And please if there is any procedure how to install this on sd card...
2.Once installed NAV IGO can I update this maps from Naviextras.com?
3.How I can access GPS LAT/LONG position on my HD2?
4.What is your opinion about Copilot 8 installed by default in HD2 ,if I purchase Europe version licence for maps do I have to pay still for software ?

Sorry as I can not help you with all of your questions, but i can help you with one of them. Go to and download the SpeedoPhonev1.31 from freewarepocketpc.net. This app will show your longitude and latitude, plus it is a pretty cool app.
