I recently saw someone put up a video of them running emulators on the kindle for like snes,genesis, etc... is there aforum of how to do that on here? if not I am currently working on that and will be sure to post it if there is not one already on this site
if there is such a forum then i would look in the "themes and apps" section or do a search

Considering this is an android tabet there are already several emulators out.....Google is your friend for this.

hey guys did a search in this forum and didnt see anything on it but..... if you download the netflix app it works absolutely perfect its a very nice app and if your in a jam a major time burner!!! sorry for no link but you can easily grab it from the xplay theme section-try it out you wont be disappointed its reall really great hahaha!!!

oh sorry man BUT i did do a search on this forum and nothing from the X10 section showed up it can be moved if needed i was just saying, it pisses me off cause i just sold my X10 today and it works perfect, on my xplay...green bar across the top sucks!!!
There is an updated version of the netflix apk floating around with the device check removed.
Google it. Works great on all my androids. Including my dopod tablet

Other than an occasional stutter, works fine on my Xperia play--gamepad and all. They have the analog sticks working too...but they are set up for changing weapons on left and view on right. D-Pad controls Claude. And the (O) button is still screwy...it's the back --exit game.

OP, I mean no offense but do you ever look around at any of the forums before posting? There is nothing short of 3 threads in the Themes and Apps section about this. And your last question about the 32GB SD was also covered in the Q&A and Accessories section. And its not like the threads are buried, they are right at the top.

Slide the gamepad back in so the touch-screen controls show up & then select the "steering wheel" icon on the left of the touch screen.

Well excuse me for being a little excited about the fact that I can now play one of my all time favourite games on my phone!
There may well be threads on this in general android forums but theyre are open to all other phones that I'm not interested in. I have (and love) an XPlay and that is the only phone I care about right now. I couldnt care less if GTA3 works or don't work on other phones.

Count the " will i lose root " and " should i get a play " threads.
It is clear 80% do not care about the forums rules. The days of relevant search results are just about over.
Ive played for a little while now and the only thing I dont like about it is that is doesnt give a tutorial on how to use the controls on the play.

Have you tried to search the Android Market? I found a Free version of EA Scrabble on their this morning I downloaded it and it works great on my rooted Kindle Fire. It's the only version that I found on there and from the reviews that I read I think that it supersedes any previous versions that may have been out there.
Does any one else think that the kindle fire hd 2013 should get it's own section to make it easier on both groups of people? And so the topics for the different tablets don't get mixed in with one another?

yea i agree ive been back and forth past 2 days geting confused just to realise half of the stuff ive been doing is wrong due to not even knowing
As many of us know, there is a serious problem at hand that needs to be dealt with. The Kindle Fire HD 7" 2012 edition forums are being polluted with posts about the Kindle Fire HD 7" 2013 edition. Although these devices have similar hardware, they are NOT the same device. It might be okay if it were just a few posts, but this is getting ridiculous.
My proposed solution is for a new forum area to be created for the 2013 Kindle Fire HD 7" and to have all posts regarding them to be moved there.

I hear that. I posted a link in my signature to help guide people but seems lots of people have bought them recently. Not long ago I tugged a mods ear about this and the response was, basically, they would see about it but we're busy. I know a month ago it was a different scene for this table. I hope the powers that be will get something worked out, given it's increase in popularity.

It is really strange in my opinion how the HD7/8.9/KF2 got put in correctly, but the HDX7/8.9/HD2 did not get organized properly in regards to forums.
