I believe it would be possible but 1) I haven't even seen the rom and 2) you'd have to resize EVERYTHING since dell streaks a tablet, correct?

For those of us who have experienced this problem you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Has anyone managed to trace this to anything? I've tried fastboot wipes til I'm blue in the face, to no avail, same symptom on two different glaciers.
This is driving me nuts on an otherwise perfect device. Help!

Are you talking about "sticky" letters? Check the thread in the General section. There is 99% solution

That happens to many glaciers, and not rom related.

EDIT: forgot to mention, its not keyboard-specific issue either.

no... once a picture is deleted on a phone, it's delete permanently.
this is the same on any rom, any phone.
de·lete
[dih-leet] Show IPA
verb (used with object), -let·ed, -let·ing.
to strike out or remove (something written or printed); cancel; erase; expunge.
you really just asked this?
Thanks for the reply.

Yes you can recover your deleted pictures. Just use file recover software. Here is a link with some free ones you can try, or just google "SD card file recovery"

Sounds like Android needs a "secure delete" app that overwrites files via the Gutmann, DoD, or similar method.

Why not just keep CM7, but download Gingerbread Launcher from the play store?
Ordered my Nexus 4 on the 13th. Still waiting.
Ahh i might try that thanks.

I'm not trying to be a thanks whore, but when someone assists you on XDA, it is customary to hit the "Thanks" button. I've noticed that several people tried to help you, but I didn't see any thanks on their posts. Maybe you weren't aware of the button?

I would go with cm7 and use the adw premium launcher.... It's super customizable but true to the aosp feel.

I might retry cm7 because the glacier rom kept fc

I need help, I have an hp laptop, Windows Vista, I need to find a way to convert JPG or PNG file to custom IMG for making a splash screen on my mytouch4G, I've tried using paint and all these other tools like Web converters, but none have the category for IMG files, please help thank you.
Sent from my HTC myTouch 4g using xda premium
Google "create splash1 img".
Or "How to make custom splash screen".
Or a zillion of other options.
thank you do I just go to Google and search that?

The sarcasm is strong with this one.
Is there a way that you can provide a like because I can't find anything I looked but couldn't seem to find anything
Sent from my HTC myTouch 4g using xda premium
You can't be serious.
There is one thread right here, on main page of "MT4G Apps & Themes" sub-forum.
If you can't find it - then I don't think you should be messing with splash images anyway.
if you have nothing good to say you shouldn't be saying anything at all then
Sent from my HTC myTouch 4g using xda premium
Didn't anyone teach you - never bite a hand that feeds you...
But it's OK, what can one expect of someone who needs to be taken by hand to a thread that has ALL the instructions, and yet he doesn't understand a thing even there and asks a question that the whole OP is answering.
OK that's why I asked because I don't know what do do when you don't know... you ask but like you and half the people that try to explain things the don't fully explain anything and I know how to flash splash screen images I just don't know how to make them
