Colours on ICS is still yellowy and ugly - Nexus S General

I was comparing the screen on my Vibrant with the screen on my Nexus S, and I was noticing how yellow the Nexus S screen is. Anyway to fix this with a kernel? I am running the stock ota.

fixed! the Trinity TEI6S kernel http://goo.gl/QAuKi
im running this on a stock/rooted 4.0.3 rom, and it runs great. the Trinity kernels have their own color. more white. less dirty yellow. its undervolted/underclocked with an overclocked bus/gpu of 220mhz. its friendly to the battery yet very quick.

I was upset last 3 days cause the yellow color of my nexus s screen( absolutely worst than my vibrant ). With new kernel, i now can enjoy my Super Amoled screen again. Thanks. However, i still have the green screen flicker issue. Hope it can be fixed in future update.

Trinity does not work on all phones. Mine for example:/

Just wondering what settings you're using in Voodoo to correct the yellow color?
I have GLaDOS v2.4 and I'm running the Voodoo color profile and left everything else alone. However, in white areas, there still seems to be a yellowish tint.

Flash kernel that support vodoo..then discuss here..

Installed it, it gave me a green screen and Voodoo control does not work.... so I will try Glados kernel. By the way I also tried the Trinity kernel on the thread, but when I installed that it didn't even let my phone start up.

I bounce between GLaDOS and Matr1x and voodoo.
I prefer how glados operates with my phone and sph33r ics rom, but the random reboots are an annoyance.
Matr1x doesn't cause my phone to reboot, plus it features SmartassV2, but BLD and 100mhz min don't work for me Wish there was one perfect kernel for ics, like FrancoFrancisco was for gingerbread.

Matr1x v13.0 ics kernel by Mathkid95. It runs very quickly, smoothly, and no reboots whatsoever.
It features bln, bld, SmartassV2, it's undervolted, but does not include deep idle in these latest releases.
Try it!

Ive disabled deep idle by default due to wake problems
100mhz min works for me with setcpu
I will look into bld

SlimBean
Dude... I cant believe I actually need to say this... but apparently I do.
THE best rom out there is: SlimBean.
Krarvind is simplyl a genius. He stripped everything out, all the bloated crap, and left a really good rom.
Battery life is insane. I leave my wifi, 3g, blue tooth, everything I can open and chowing battery, and I only need to charge my phone 2-3 times a week.
I have been using slim roms since my college at work told me about it when ics came out, and as my friend Ori, likes to put it, its pure awesome sauce.
And now with the jb update, it really is as smooth as butter and runs incredibly.
I was considering getting an upgrade on my phone to the galaxy nexus, but with slim rom it would simply be pointless.
I would deff say my phones overall speed has increased x2 with SlimBean.
Its still in early stages granted, he just released it last week I think, so he doesnt have all the normal features, but it will come.
Seriously, if you are looking for the best rom for nexus s, look no further:

I have gotten the best battery from matr1x compared to Franco. Any suggestions I want to stay as close to a stock look as possible but I'm willing to bend for battery.

I'm craving better battery life. Help!

Currently on stock ROM running the matrix kernel. I can't get more than 2.5hrs of screen on time which I think is pathetic. With my galaxy note 2 I can get 5-6hrs screen on time with same usage.
Any other kernel I should try to improve battery life? I see some people here getting over 4hrs screen on time and I don't see how it's possible on this phone.

You won't be able to run Antutu with my settings. It heats up too fast. In my opinion Antutu sucks. It really does. I can get 14690 in quadrant with my settings. What good is it to have a benchmarking program if you have to underclock to run it? Pfft I'll pass on Antutu...annnnd...you're welcome lol!
What rom are you running?
Some of the developers include tweaks in their roms that clash with the kernel cause benchmarks to blow, but it doesn't affect if not actually improve real world performance.
For example, unknownforce had included some tweaks in ForceRom but once he removed them people's benchmarks back to normal. It's not the kernel, running Ktoonez's on my own modded stock gets me 14500 quadrants and 25k+ antutu.
Same goes for all the Blue Kuban users, Ruje included some tweaks implemented into his rom and those interfere with how the kernel runs the benchmarks - this "interference" isn't bad, it's just messes up the way the benchmarks run.
Plus - Antutu itself is very stressful on the CPU shooting up the temp to 70 degrees in about five seconds, so that can also be an issue.
