so i turn my phone on this morning and it wont respond to my touch evrything works when i use the keyboard but not the touch screen did a hard reset? and nothing? can someone help thanx! and Happy Xmas!!!
Always to check whether you have a hardware or software issue Odin back to EC05 pure stock and test the screen. If it works there then some drivers got messed up. Root and flash after that and don't restore any system data.

hello...could anybody help me please...i was updating my htc magic to [ROM][32b] Official AOSP 2.2 OTA...but after i copied the update to sd,and i rebooted at the recovery menu i couldn't scroll to select the update.zip..it takes very long n i decided to pull out the battery n restart it again..unfortunately it went wrong somewhere n the phne keep on restarting again and again...i've tried to hard reset and all...but it won't works...help pleasee...
no replies yet...that's very sad..
If you can get to the recovery screen try wiping and factory reset.and flash a different rom. If that doesn't work. You can always do the unroot method by using the smping.mbh file or something like that. Look up how to unroot in google and you should know what I mean. Hope this helps

thanks lucas..but,the problem is that i can't get the recovery...it's keep on restarting again and again..??any idea?
Well then you need to unroot your mytouch it basically puts it back in factory settings and you do it through fast boot. I'm guessing you have the original mytouch this how I did it

You don't need to get in recovery screen. Turn the phone off and hold the up volume button and the power button and fast boot the sapping.nbh file

What I did is:
Through fastboot I flashed SAPPIMG.nbh. It put my phone to the cupcake (1.5). Then I installed rooted HTC 1.6 update. After that I flashed any Rom I wanted.
Tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=586363
PS: This is the only working way I know since I am a noob too and finally got it going. Tried almost every rom in this section

You're very welcome. this method had saved my phone from being bricked like a hundred times.if the g2 had a fail safe like that I would of already rooted it. Glad I could help

yo lucas...sorry for the late reply..now the phone had the same problem again...i just tried to do recovery using ROM manager..but after it saves everything and reboot and the splash screen looping continuosly again..damn it..it's my 2n tiime now..grrrr!!i tried ur method n it didn't work...n seems there is alot of people with this same problem when i tried to search around..seems there is no better solutions yet for this "semi-brickd" problems..
So you can't put it back to stock? If you manage to get it back to stock by doing the same thing you did beforev you should try using a different recovery. aman-ra's recovery is the best for me. But I can't see how you can't get into the fastboot screen by pressing power and volume up,that's never failed for me. If its really impossible you should have tmobile replace it. I don't think they can tell you hacked it if they can't even get into fastboot.sorry if I took long to answer

I used jtsuperclean rom with the voodoo kernel with lagfix and it worked like a charm until i locked it and when i unlocked it the softkeys lit up but the screen stayed black and has not come on since. It is super frustrating and i was wandering if there is a fix for this. i already did a restore to original before the rom and kernel and it showed a million force closes and would let me do very little it was very frustrating and now its just black
Voodoo needs to go diaf....
Heres what you need to do.
Restore to stock with Odin files: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=782204
Then flash CWM through Odin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788099
Download the voodoo uninstaller.zip at the bottom of this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=804784
ADB push it to your sdcard, and then flash it through clockwork.
Reboot back into Clockwork recovery, wipe data/catch. Restore your nandroid backup.
Should be fixed.
I advise you don't flash a voodoo kernel once you have fixed things. It really isn't worth it now that geek's stupidfast kernal is so good.
okay so i did the first two things but the screen is still black even on boot up and wont allow me to see what im doing to flash
Have u used any market screen brightness apps?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
nope the soft keys still work and the touchscreen still works it just looks like its locked with the screen black not lit up at all and the softkeys light up
pull the battery to turn the phone off, then follow my directions
okay i did what u said and did it by ur directions exactly but the screen is still black so i cannot flash the uninstaller in clockwork because i cannot see anything
it doesnt let you get into recovery?
no i cant see anything no matter what i do
Sounds like Your problem may be beyond just screwing with the brightness settings then...
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
The brightness issue with third party apps shouldn't effect the phone in recovery.

I had the same issue. I think it is a defective screen issue. I had a replacement unit coming out. Just hope they don't fix the screen then try to give me **** because the phone is rooted.
Today I tried to make a backup of my sys directory. After a while the tab was completly stuck so I did a reboot. After that the touchscreen stoped working. The usb keyboard did work so I did a factory reset but that didnt solve the problem. I installed original firmware with odin but that doesnt fix the problem.
Everything works fine exept the touchscreen.
Does anybody knows how to fix this?

Today I got my tab back from repair center.
They changed the mainboard and gues what...
I could not believe my eyes when I start up my tab.
It came back with the bootloader unlocked.
I see a lock when tab starts and in download mode it says unsecured.
Im really hapy with this.

Got a problem, need some help. I have a 10.1 P5113 and was trying to root it. After a failed root. I now get a partial screen and un responsive touch screen. It will only reboot. I can get into recovery but a full reset wont work. At this time I tried flashing back to stock and i get a failed firmware screen. Any help would be great.
Sounds like you rooted/flashed the wrong files. I can't help you but if i were you i would check that at first.

so guys this is what happened. i have rooted lg g2 d802 (international) with twrp as custom recovery. i tried to update my g2 to 4.4.2 using the twrp. i downloaded the ROM file and flashed it through twrp as instructed . however, i couldnt finish the instalation as this message keeps popping up: no md5 file found. i tried to flash the superuser after that and booted to system. once it opened, the touch calibration's all messed up. it was so bad i couldnt even access the menu. i cant power off my device as well. if i long press the power button, it just restarts. i cannot access recovery mode!
need help guys! hope to hear from you. kinda noob here.
Have a similar problem. Until the solution, i am using a mouse connected to the phone.
