Database Users

Let's persuade gameloft to update their games for the X10.

Since some games like Nova and Modern combat: Sandstorm don't work on our phones, even with the update, if we show enough interest, then they might update them to run on our phones.
Please post here, if you want this to happen.

Asphalt5, Dungeon Hunter, Hero of Sparta, Lets Golf, Avatar, Tom Clancys HAWX are working, Nova, Assassins Creed didnt work for me

Sandstorm works. It just that its almost unplayable because of the lack of MT (Can't walk and aim at the same time)

I also want to see Nova. But, its a game made for multi-touch. Not sure how playable it will be on the X10.

Yeah, it works for me too.
Allready worked on Android 1.6, now even better.

I think they'll work very crappy because we don't have multitouch and it's a must for good gameplay in some of their games.

The better opetion would be to have them allow mapping of hardware buttons to try and use outside MT!

Dungeon hunter only kind of works. You cannot switch the controls to the control stick which is infinitely better than point and tap

I had the same thing on 1.6 - they even gave me another game as recompensation

I'm uploading files to my site,link in sign, and the ones that works are included in the games folder.

Yo mate,i visited ur link but umm,i couldnt start Gangstar on the X10 mate ,nor Avatar...i mean they do start but the graphics are black objects and screwed textures (Its not my phone : All other games work like a charm).
(I also saw that i had the files on the SD from my old Gangstar so i didnt need to redownload,could those be the fault?)

Same problem here with Assassin's Creed.. black textures..

PSX4Droid Epic 4G Game Compatability Thread

I set this thread up because currently there is no compatability page set up for the Epic on the psx4droid website. If you know certain games are working/not working please post it here so I can update the list. When posting a game please state what version of psx4droid you are using. If the game is not working please state when it crashes. This thread will be updated weekly. Thanks again.

Do you know if Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, and 3 work?

I'd switch to FPSE. There are not going to be any more updates for PSX4Droid. The devloper went back to develop for the iDevice since the Market banned his account.
Additionally, you'll find the compatibility to be MUCH better on FPSE.

+1 for FPSE, best 5 bucks I've spent in a while! & Crash Bandicoot runs flawless on FPSE, while it was SLOOOOOOW on psxdroid!

I haven't had problems running psx4droid 3.0.0.6. Been playing ffix, silent hill, ace combat 3 and resident evil 1-2 (haven't tested 3) but really all in all its better than fpse, imho. Much smoother seems to utilize more of our phones.

Oh and I don't know about on Evo, but crash runs decent enough for what I played. Only played half of the first level but the actual gameplay was smooth. I am overclocked @ 1.3 btw.

Yes crash works. I'll have a nice update prepared overnight.
I might be interested in FPSe if front mission 3 works on it. Can anyone test that out? I'll email the dev as well but he might not know.

Digimon Digital Card battle runs flawlessly.
Best game on PSX in my opinion.

Okay fpse runs front mission 3 flawlessly except the app does not recognize all the keys used with game gripper. I'm glad that front mission does not use all the button so I can move stuff around.
I won't turn this into a fpse thread but I will list games not working on psx4droid that work on fpse. You all may discuss both emulators anyhow. Thanks again.

We should just do an all around psx emulation thread.. maybe include some settings and the optimal emulator? No need to be biased! Its software after all.

diablo and ff 7
i cant get ether of thees to work. ff7 crashes at first battle and diablo crashes right after diablos head at loading screen. what format was image and is ther settings that need changes? please help

Tekken 2 works on both.

I prefer PSX4Droid to FPSE. Never hada problem with it, except for DBZ Legends could load/start the game.

I do too cuz for some reason I could never get gamesaves I've downloaded from online to work on FPSE, but PSX4Droid became obsolete on the GB builds.
OG Evo on Deck!

I just tried setting this up and when I click on the bin file of Twisted Metal it doesn't start. Icon goes in notification bar to say psx4droid is running but no game. Is there something else I need to do? I downloaded the file from the site the author suggested in the Playstation section. Thanks.

PS3 controller works on Nexus S 4G 2.3.5 rooted stock rom.

Just like the title says, I just got the "Sixaxis Controller" app from the market and it works on our phone.

I know for sure emulators do. As for regular games the controller works the same as a slide out keyboard (you just program the keys) so if a keyboard is supported for button mapping so is the controller.

As far as I know you have to be root.

I've been waiting on this, using the wiimote was awesome but it lacked buttons.

I'm using a Nexus S (T-Mobile bands) with CM7 nightly 155 and netarchy 1.3.9. I purchased the app and it works perfectly.
I'm loving this so much!

The game looks awsome! Just like the PSP version, if not better! I am amased by the graphics!
You can find it under "Free EA Games" from the Xplay Launcher. Enjoy!
It takes about 1gb of space though so make sure you have adequate space for the game.

It's pretty nice, analogue controls work well and it seems very comprehensive. Only issue is the slowdown, which is sometimes crippling. Anyone else getting it?

Fifa 12 has great graphics and gameplay but has no gameplay modes very disapointing, in fifa 10 you have manager mode , career mode and be a pro , will there be any updates to this

the game is awesome and better than any soccer game for xperia play.

I don't like that I can't switch the controls to alternate. I hate playing the classic controls im used to PES. So I shoot with square and cross with circle. Besides that the game is great. Is there no multiplayer like in fifa 10?

I have had a little go of it its not very impressive (Cannot find a way to use the dpad instead of the touchpads which sucks).
PES has always been a better game (Since SNES days).
(Don't really care about graphics).
Don't really like football games either really.

This game is the best for the play hands down

Sorry, u might ban me for this post but how can i find that fifa 12 on market. im trying to type in search tool any words like ''fifa 12 or 2012'' and i still cannot see this game on a list... looks like they delete that game from market??? i did try also diffrent markets, other countries...

Open your game slider on xperia play and click " more games " then it will be there

I think he means black market.... If you have Xperia Play, you do not need to get it on the black market as it is free anyway.

It is Xperia Play exclusive for now. I believe late in 1Q 2012 it will be out for other devices.

AFAIK EA said that they were "only" releasing for Xperia 2011 devices.
All of them have an Adreno GPU and are armv7 so if your phone shares the same GPU and architecture you could run it - but EA won't give it to you. If you want it, get an Xperia.

How to change your MOJO to a great game console

I just tried it out for a few minutes and not all the games work with the mojo. If you click on a game in the list, you will be ported to the google play store where you can download the game.

If you're rooted then you probably won't need to sideload. As to whether they work, that very much depends on the game.

have to try this thanks.. and yes get rooted well worth it most apps and games show up havent tried mm3. which added more support
