Mildwild 3.7 crashing with chompssms

hi
Posting here as I am long time lurker, but low post count.
Have just installed Mildwild 3.7 Oxygen.
Full wipe, CM2 Hboot, everything formatted.
Installed fine.
Very fast ROM it seems BUT
everytime I try to go into the settings of 1. Chompsms 2. Dialer One
those apps crash. and I cannot get in.
Any thoughts.
Never happened on other roms.

MW 3.7 is beta use MW 3.6 works fine for me.

Posible problem; (i think)
*Scripts like app2sd, s2e, link2sd and etc...
Try to remove or disable first applications that are connecting between your device and sd card.
Another posible problem;
*Restoring app+data from titanium backup. Try to restore app only.

Help - Defy sudden reboot after cm 10 installed

i have defy (not defy plus)
and i downloaded cm10 successfully.
i have the last upload (10-20120924-NIGHTLY-mb525)
and my phone do reboot something like 80 times a day! it's horrible lol
Please help me guys

Hi, you change the vsl. Its to down the handy reboot.

i have the same exact problem !! its always rebooting and im not able to download anything off the google playstore !

i have the same problem with the playstore
buy the worst problem is the rebooting

I had that problem after the latest update. I did an install again.
Just wipe cache, dalvik cache.
Install from zip
Again wipe cache , dalvik cache.
P.S. did not wipe data. Just those two before and after install

JB roms do not support Flash Officially.

Flash on JB does not work witch stock browser or chrome but firefox or dolphin works.
Installing flash from play store on JB doesn't work. You will find the apk by google search or using search function if the forum.

Hi! I'm a new Oppo user!! :laugh:
I have one question.. It's possible to install default Ics Browser in Oppo???
I extract Browser.apk and try install it from Cm 10.1 rom, but i can't install..
Any Idea??

why not use chrome browser from Google. It's essentially the same browser. Just curious, what's it say when you try, sorry this application cannot be installed?

Simply.. Chrome don't have flash support, and default browser have it..
In oppo, I try Dolphin, Firefox, Opera but nothing..
Edit me: I see one solution here, and works with old dolphin!

I get an error: 'Parse Error: There is a problem parsing the package'
EDIT: Turned out I had a newer version (4.2.1) and we're still running (4.1.1)
However, i have noticed a few quirks now I've got it working.. For instance, try doing anything in the options menu and you'll see that the bottom of the page has graphical bugs.
More of a nuisance is the fact that for some reason when I type a search in the URL bar it directs me to m.baidu.com (chinese search engine) eventhough I've specified google.com as the search engine...
Any idea on how to fix those things? And did you experience them yourself?

lightening browser for flash playback and chrome for browsing.Combination FTW!!:laugh:

I believe the latest Dolphin won't support flash. You'll have to load an older version of Dolphin. Do a search for " dolphin compatible flash" on google and that should get you your answer.

You need to be rooted, then go to root, data, data, mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser, shared preferences and delete mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser_preferences.xml.
You must also install adobe flash of course

I deleted the file few times, but everytime I start dolphin its back in data... Ill search for an older version.

Or try the newest- dolphin beta. Then the file is in root/data/data/com.dolphin.browser.free
It will be recreated but it wont be the same file- it will allow flash on demand

I cannot try this atm, otherwise I would, but can you try changing the plugin state to "ON" in the preferences xml file?

Use the Boat Browser instead, is similar in everything to the Dolphin (Dolphin was the one I was used to) but even faster, and with Flash compatibility.

Thanks for the tip. downloading XXEMD2 now. Soon as possible I will update mod.
I think old versions will not work on new build.

Ive tried boat and I works better but very often the boat browser crashes on flash sites...
