I have a Xperia X10a from Rogers, unlocked but still branded. I placed my bell sim card in and while I do have the signal bars I do not have the 3G or Bell banner on the handset. Do I need to debrand the handset so I can?
Thanks a bunch!
Nope - you'll just need to configure the APN's for data/ MMS access... see here...

Hello guys,
Is anyone having difficulties sending MMSs on the Droid Pro ? I am using my Droid Pro in Portugal and my APNs are correctly configured, both for Internet and MMS, but when I send an MMS I get an error saying that the service isn't provided by my Network. Has anyone experienced this?
(the service is correctly configured with my network, and was working perfectly fine with my previous phone)
Thanks.
Need a little bit of help with MMS reciving and sending on my Unlocked AT&T Atrix which is on O2 UK.
I've setup all the APN's as specified on a few threads on Google for it, but I cannot download them. I get the notification, but when downloading it just errors with "Text message not received".
Any ideas on this one as O2 don't seem to provide a setting download service for Android phones via the SIM Card or other means.
Thanks
Andy
I Have problem with mms and simunlocked atrix too.. But not with O2!
Anyone with simunlocked atrixegot mms working? ..
I want only mms , and NOT Internet.
Internet charges for me are insane!!!!!!!!!
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
Does this problem only affect sim unlocked atrix's only? I'm using a Rogers sim card with an Unlocked Bell Atrix and I can't receive MMS. They send fine though.
I have an Orange UK unlocked Atrix running on Three UK, flashed with the French retail firmware.
I didn't even have to configure any APNs for anything, data or MMS. They self populated.
I sent an MMS to myself and it sent and received just fine.

Hello,
I currently have the CM 10.1 ROM flashed, along with faux's latest beta kernal installed. When I am connected to T-mobile's LTE network, everything works fine, except for the fact I cannot send MMS messagse to other people's phones. When I switch back to HSPA, I can send MMS messages fine. I have T-mobile's $30/month 4g prepaid service.
Has anyone been able to send MMS messages over LTE on T-mobile's network? Are there any settings I can adjust that will allow me to send MMS over LTE? Or has T-mobile simply not enabled MMS to be sent over its LTE network yet?
edit: nevermind, I fixed my problem. In my LTE APN, I just added "http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc" to the "MMSC" linen, and now I can send MMS messages normally.
Hi guys, ive been trying to get internet and data working on my Droid M ever since i got it. I cannot get them both working at the same time. I have one apn for internet and one for mms. When i receive a mms, i have to go to APN settings and enable my mms apn just to get the message. I shouldnt have to do that.
Doesnt this phone support apn switching like most phones? It seems the Verizon apn has both internet and mms in one file which leads me to my question: is it possible to have two concurrent working apn's on this phone?
If anyone has got internet and mms working seamlessly with 2 apn's please post your settings. Thanks.
Are you on Verizon or another network?
