I realize I'm a little late to the game but where can the download be found for Win8? I see nothing in either branch of Windows 8 D&H forum.
Does anybody have an ISO to share?

I assume so because they're in the release candidate and accessed In the exact same manner as in Windows 7 (right click desktop and click gadgets) but I don't know if it's in the final version.
I am not 100% sure but I think that they have been removed because of the security.
I'm sure removed in rtm

Apparently the project was supported by stroughtonsmith. That's the same dev who was working on porting the meego for the hd2 a while ago..

Don't worry about it. If you get problems with the mtp driver install when in USB debugging mode, have a search for mtp problems in this forum.
Anyone up for undertaking porting Ubuntu touch to our device? I found this thread and saw a RAZR port. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182442 if posting this link is improper I apologize in advanced. If needed I will remove it.

I haven't tried it. I know Tim said he tried it and it booted and everything. However, there is no phone signal and it only works on WiFi.

Alright thanks for the heads up. I know the public release will be out Oct 17, once that drops hopefully ubuntu touch development for this device will take off.

Yea I'm pretty excited about it but unfortunately there's not much development going on for our device right now. (Well at least not much that I could find anyway) The last bit that was released was in June/July and I couldn't get it to boot on my phone sadly but with the upcoming public release of Ubuntu Touch on the the 17th, hopefully we'll see an increase in development. I would love to have this as a daily driver if data would work on it.

Has anyone tried this lately? I would love to see a functioning build... I would try it but last time I ran into trouble and had to use Matts utility... As I don't have access to a PC I'm a tad hesitant to give it another flash
