Nieylana here on xda was working on a recovery img but we have to wait the SPL unlock he said that he would include new version with payload and such with this recovery

i need rom 2.6.29 but where can i download it. indigo bean is a 2.6.29 rom but it doesnt work on my legend. i got the android boot screen since 30minutes.
i wanna try an other custom rom but i cant find the right one (2.6.29)

It is also working with azure's rom. At this moment i'm using a stock ROM, the one with the super circel mod and it also seems to work. Make sure you do a wipe before you flash an other ROM... good luck !

what is the advantage ? I've got the first payload and I got every possible thing i could wish for ...

there is a new backupmanager wich fixes the controller issue on newer games like f1 2010
but you need the newest psfreedom version to use the fix.

are you sure about that ? i've got backup manager 2 installed and open backup manager, both working just fine...

yes you can use the new backupmanagers but you need the new payload for the fix

i found out that we only need to integrate psfreedom 1.1
wich that version the controller fix should work.
if i only knew how to do that

froyo rom with full flash?

I have switched between a few roms and am currently using CyanogenMod can anyone tell me which rom has full flash or how I can get full flash installed on CyanogenMod .. I am using the latest nightly release for CyanogenMod.

Flash 10.1 will not work on the wildfire due to the almost 4 year old CPU

Funny :/ ... i thought Android 2.2 will bring flash 10.1 by default ... no matter how old is the cpu ... i'm using Cyanogenmod Nightlies 50, and i missing full flash support
I tried to download, and install it, but meanwhile the install procedure the phone rebooted :/

damn that sucks.. is there anyway to install an old full flash version?

Intalled flash 10.1 but after this nothing happened..

i got the same result the browser just wouldnt open any web pages once the APK was installed.
How come it works for wildfire 2.1 and not 2.2??

Do I have something else to do it by this description?:::::: BUT!There's another thing inside - a permission called android.webkit.permission.PLUGIN. It is already used by Flash Lite on HTC devices. So my APK will work and replace Flash Lite. But I did not test, because I do own... Acer Liquid!

i have no clue .... i tried to search "com.google.android.feature.GOOGLE_PLUGIN" in the system folder and directories on the phone to "modify"?! but nothing yet....
i think we need a smarter people .. or shoud ask a Rom "maker" dude

[Q] Latest version?

Hi my Wildfire is rooted and I have Wildpuzzle running on it.I have a couple of questions,how can I find out if I have the latest version of a ROM? I know there are many differant versions, but how can I see if mine is up to date? Is there any kind of time stamp or date that I can look for?
The next thing is that I have the app setCPU but the rom I have does not seem to support overclocking so do I need to flash a new rom or can I just flash a differant Kernel that supports over clocking?
Next I seem to be running out of space on my sd card, I have the app ROM manager but I do not see an option for deleting files from the sd card.Is the only way to do it by connecting the phone to a pc and delete the files that way?

1.Go to seettings>About phone>software information.
there you can find the software version where you can see the ROM version.
2.just flash a kernal which supports overcloaking.
3.download any file managers.there are lot avalible on market.

To find the latest version, check back in your rom's thread from time to time... the latest update is shown by the date. For cm7, check out the teamdouche mirror for nightlies.

OK I did a nandroid backup and have flashed Wildpuzzle ROM V8 then restored everything using Titanium backup and everything seems good but now Android market is not working.A box pops up saying the application process Android Market has stopped working please try again.
Must I uninstall it? Then where do I re-install from?Any ideas why this has stopped working?I think its something to do with the initial phone set up and registering with google but I cant rember how the phone was originally set !
Any ideas?

Edit I must stop panicking.I went to Menu>settings>applications>Manage applications, then found Market and cleared cache and cleared data and its now working OK

OOK the next thing that has happened since I updated to v8 is that when I get an incomming text or call it does not display the name only the number.I've searched the settings,but is it something to do with the previous rom settings?

Stop using the old wildpuzzle rom which has that bug, and use the new wildpuzzle.
Don't know why you're even using that version when it got abandoned when official froyo came out.

Hi I switched from the Wildpuzzle Rom I was using to what I thought was a newer one to use over clocking. I thought I had moved from v4 to v8 I went to the thread on this board and downloaded what I thought was the latest version.Now I`m confused any link to the latest version?

Yes, what you have now (WildPuzzle 2.2.1 v0.8) is the latest.

[Q] What custom ROMS support U8800-51?

Hi, I know U8800-51 (Impulse 4G) doesn't have the same chipset of U8800 (is that true?), so I'm worried that the custom ROMs won't be compatible with my device... that I could loose Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and radio (I don't use it, anyway...). Is there a ROM that supports -51 so far? are there plans to do so?

I'm currently trying to put the device fevers for our phone to 4.0 but having a hard time doing it and Im having a hard time just finding the drivers to put into 4.0 I have the xda developer programs and the phone rooted and everything I need to get it going just need to find the info to extract the info to put in 4.0

Im using MIUI in my U8800-51, but you have to flash first GB from U8800pro official (512), then flash miui (if u dont flash the official gingerbread update u will suffer random reboots), there's one bug: no 3G (which is not important for me because for my needs EDGE (2G) is more than enough)

but you'll gonna loose 3G because the baseband changes

I don't know if loosing 3G is worth the shot, I'm fine running 2.2.3... :/

that's why is everyone's choice, i'm fine with 2G and wifi, others maybe don't.

Tomorrow i'll upload the tutorial, today i'll put the files on multiupload, if u cant login at mobilecloseup try login with the same user/pass in chw (i've had the same issue).

Don't know if will it work because the upgrade changes baseband, partition table layout, etc...
Maybe doing a full backup on linux with the DD method can work

ok i thing i found out why we aren't getting any updates at all for the phone it seems at&t didnt get the memo to use the phone as a developer phone and the phones here are most of the ones that can be flashed and work for the most part. im guessing at&t screwed us u8800-51 people out of any if not all updates for the foreseeable future. i tried and got nowhere i even went to YouTube and followed the tutorials. got nowhere again. i guess this phone is just not updateable unless at&t decides to make a custom firmware.

im now tempted to get a phone 7 and deal with the no custom ringtones and no bt file transfer and having to pay for apps

I was hoping one would work with the 3g or 4g. Guess not. As soon as I get the extra money, going to get an Atrix 4g and ditch this one. It sucks because this is a good phone.

[Q] How to downgrade from HTC HD2 NexusHD2 4.0.4 to 2.3 ?

After many attempts at installing tytung's NexusHD2 4.0.4 ROM on my European HD2 , I finally figured out (thanks to a commentator on youtube) that I should set the partition size to 200 MB , not 180 or 175 as some instructional videos on YouTube said.Everything worked fine for a while and I was quite satisfied , but the phone got really , REALLY sluggish (and yes , I've enabled all of the performance boosting options in the settings/performance menu and uninstalled every unnecessary app).
So , now I'm considering returning to a 2.3 version of Android , maybe even tytung's one.The thing is that I don't really know how , I had to follow an instructional video on youtube to get this going , and I'm really afraid that I'll brick the phone if I just try to flash it using CWM.Should I format the SD card , repartition it or something ?
BTW , the current version of NexusHD2 I'm using is 2.9 , not the latest 3.0
Any helpful suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

A bit more detail would be cool

You don't need to bother task29ing unless you experience issues. Just flash the new cwm partition and the ROM using the guide in my sig for more detail.
