Here it goes lol, got me I9505 a few days ago, device working allmost perfect except it doesnt have the imei and baseband unknown. Got another I9505 but it only doesnt have incomming call sound( tried another speaker and other things but its most likely hardware issue) ,its got baseband and imei. After reading 2 days all kinds of threads with same problems and flashing different stock roms it didnt get the imei nor baseband back. So i used EFS to backup the i9505 with the sound issue and then restored that backup on the i9505 without imei and baseband but still no imei nor baseband. So in short: got 2x i9505 one with imei and baseband one withouboth,is it possible and how to transfer the imei and baseband?

There is a ROM out there that has baseband of the 5.0 Lollipop. If you had flashed that via Odin then you must download Lollipop baseband since you are unable to downgrade. If you didn't download the lollipop leak then you are prob downloading the wrong firmware for you phone just check on SAMMOBILE and see if you are indeed downloading the latest firmware for your phone.
I have downloaded a latest stock Rom from sammobiles and flashed it using Odin.
After flashing everything works fine except Sim card. phone detects the Sim card and shows the signals also. and when I make a call on my number, I can hear the tone like call is receiving at other end but phones does not ring.
My IMEI number has changed to something like this 004451121002 .
I don't have the backup of EFS partition either.
I had same problem on my Galaxy s3 few months back and solved it by flashing patched kernel and patched modem.
not been able to find any patched modem for galaxy s4.
Please help to solve the problem.

Hi mate
What S4 model you have?
What rom you flashed now and what you had?
Seem like a modem bootloader mismatch.....

Hi,
I bought a Galaxy S5 phone (model sm-G900J aka SCL23) in ISRAEL.
When I bought it here in ISRAEL i was able to make calls and everything was fine. It Has Kitkat 4.4 on it.
I've decided to root and upgrade to LP... (did not make any backup for the rom I had... I knew... stupid, stupid, stupid!)
I've used the official LP build from SAMSUNG and found out that I can't make any calls.
Tried SpaceX 4.2. same result.
I think the problem is related to my MEID/IMEI number...
The printed number on my phone is an IMEI number with 15 digits but when I retrieve my real reported number (with *#06#) i get a MEID number (14 digits) - which works with CDMA networks
The IMEI and MEID are the same except that the IMEI has an extra digit.
I currently have TWRP recovery on my phone and it is rooted.
Any ideas how to approach this?
Thanks in advance.

I read something about this Japanese beer of the S5 here: [TUTORIAL] Unlock SIM for au/KDDI Galaxy S5 SCL23 by Harrison Taylor
Maybe it works for Israel mobile networks too.
If not, search for an official stock firmware for your exact device and your region. Flashing this should also fix the issue.
For additional help or if you have further questions, best to ask in the [SUPPORT THREAD] The Galaxy ~S5~ All in one support thread!**NOOB FRIENDLY** by Ricky Divjakovski.
Good luck!

Before you do ANYTHING else, you need to make a backup of your efs folder (contains IMEI number and other critical information)......If you damage this during flash attempts, you are in a 'whole world of hurt' which is near impossible to resolve......

Hi,
i've changed my phone pit file and CSC too many times that i forgot whats my phone default firmware
i've tried up to 15 basebands to make my phone IMEI get back but unfortunately i'm having no LTE and signal problem with 2g and 3g
i've done as told in baseband threads, any tips on how can i change my baseband and get signal
what are the upgrades for SM-N9005XXUBMI6_MODEM.tar and SM-N9005XXUBMJ1_MODEM.tar
my phone seem not to work with any Lolipop baseband :/
i've tried latest bootloader and baseband but all of them lead to no IMEI and no signal
I replaced my motherboard and flashed the latest stock firmware from Samsung for the N9005. After it booted it didn't had any network connection. WiFi and Bluetooth work fine though.
I tested network connection with my old motherboard and it works fine. I already tried this, but it didn't change anything: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help/galaxy-note-3-sm-n9005-sim-network-t3756825
I also tried different SIM-cards in the Note 3 but it didn't work.
Any suggestions?
IMEI correct ??

What do you mean exactly? The IMEI is different from the original one, right?
EDIT: The Phone INFO Samsung app says there are no available CSC Codes and the IMEI is gone. However, the Mobile Operator number is recognised in the Phone INFO app.
