Nova Kicks Ass

Well including three demo of Nova in 3.70 sucked me in. I paid the $5 because this game is really cool!

I agree. I was pleasantly surprised by both the performance of the game, and the fact that although it may be called "bloatware", in reality it adds minimal to internal storage (most of the data is stored on SD which I don't mind).

I picked it up a few months ago, its pretty bomb. Modern Combat: Sandstorm is absolutely AWESOME too.

Ok so Adam did you install 3.70? Are you rooted? If so did you get your old official copy of NOVA working? Mine won't it just glitches and hangs?
Any answers would be awesome as I can't play NOVA anymore without REBUYING it BOOOO

Nova 2 looks even better, dont know if its coming to android. Also don't know if our evos can handle it.

Yeah gamelofts process of selling is horrible. They need to join the android market. Especially with all the talk on the blogs about them ripping people off. I have been using a titanium restore so I've been ok playing NOVA. I think they right now only offer 90 days that you can redownload aka update. Which is retarded. The games are great but gameloft needs to rethink their android business model quick

You don't have to worry about what Sprint did to our EVOs when it comes to NOVA as you arent using even a loose version of the RUU... ahhh well...
As for rethinking their business model I hear you, it's way to hard to get support or help with these issues from them. Not to mention even finding the games is so backwards its almost in opposite land...

Yeah. I wanna say android central (maybe phandroid....cant remember) ran an article today on them charging people numerous times, etc. If they wanna be a serious player why arent they on the market? As easy as it should be, gameloft comes off as shady. And yeah, their stuff is a pain to buy, download, and install. You would think they would wanna cure that issue. Joining the market would do that and alleviate everyones fears of being scammed.

well i had the full version of nova before the update, im all stock. and after the update I still have the full version, no changes.

you can actually get modern combat sandstorm for free at getjar.com! it is a fun game and was made free there because of what adam said.

oh darn it, sorry for getting your hopes up. the article was misleading and so was the description. my bad

I don't think they charge you if you activate the demo copy after having already bought it. I got NOVA back in late july, and just activated the demo. It said purchase, but didn't go through the normal process, so I don't think I paid for it. I'll try to post back here in a month when I get my next bill to confirm, but I'm pretty sure that if its the device that you already activated on, it should be free to activate it. It definitely plays better now that its integrated.
I love all the Gameloft games except for Asphalt 5. Its not a really good racing game. Its ok, but not well optimized for Android. I just got Need for Speed Shift when it came out on the Market on the 16th. So far, its awesome! Really snappy great graphics, and really good racing experience.

Can you use wiimote with these games?
On cm 6 of course. I know it doesn't work on sense.

nova just hangs on my device. it tries to load then kicks me out to home screen. anyone else have this problem?

I read that last night and was all for it, until I saw the $134 price tag.

I wish AllShare or DLNA allowed for simply mirroring the screen from the phone to a compatible device.

But, you would have to get some sort of controller to use it wireless like this is... So another 20 to 30 bucks for a sixaxis if you don't have one. Just sayin...

You might be able to, to my understanding it has a dongle that connects to the display through HDMI, and then you run an app on your phone that HDMI mirrors it to the dongle.

If you LCD uses HDMI, then it will work fine.

Agreed. $134 for universal support of any android device isn't bad at all. Add a bluetooth controller with a bunch of emulators and roms and you got yourself a full fledged portable legacy gaming console regardless of what device you have.

Precisely. Although, only super Gnes let's two people play at once. Do you know of anything other EMU's that do two player together?

Not sure as I've never tried it myself, but I think the 'oid emulators by Yongzh allows two players. In the settings there's an option for a second pad, but I'm guessing one person has to use the phone as a controller. Can play over Netplay though, but obviously that requires two separate devices.

Yeh. He has a N64 emu that I believe is two lpayer that costs $4 bucks. You can get it using the SlideMe market app. But I have Snes and dont care about Genesis or Nes.
What I want is MAME/CPS2/Neo-Geo that has two player option.

Id rather petition the hell out of samsung then pay $130 for something that should've came with the phone. and IF its a hardware thing, maybe you could replace our jack with i9000's. But $130? No way.

Mhl and emulators

I'm an older member but the last few days I've been playing genesis, snes and n64 on my hdtv with sixaxis. Brings back great fun and memories. I can't believe how much $$$ I spent on them years ago and now their free. Snes and zelda pot on the 64 are great. If you like games you must get this app. Now I gotta gplaystation emulator that works, none I've got works so far.
A quick question too. My favorie system of all was the sega dreamcast and I know their was an android emulator someone had running but I can't find it. Anyone have it or know where to get it?

Sure . Don't know what y'all are suggesting but at some point all of those emulators have been free. Before shooting off accusations know what you're talking about. I left the evo 3d forums partly because of flamers and smart butts but I guess there are some in every forum.

Hi, I jsut got an A500...

for $200 bucks in really good condition! I love this tablet but I would like to know if anybody knows a way to watch Amazon prime videos on it and use the Lending Library for Amazon Prime Members, I haven't done research on this but is this possible?

don't question the man, keep going bro, keep up the good work. When people make developments like this, it's good. How'd you access the code? Decompile it with APKManager?

After calling it gay I realised either way I had to start the game from the beginning so I decided to make the process x2 faster, since we download the data to our sd card its alot easier & ive managed to make every car really fast & take lots of damage, my next task is to get the right friction on every car & weight so they dont tip over or lose control.... Dont really know when im going to release the files but it will be within the next couple of days

As much as i apreciate your work. Don't you think your mods will ruin the game? I mean **** blowing up and rolling about is half the fun of the game right?

just use imgtool 2.0 to modify the correct gta.img and the correct files eg. Handling.cfg, gta3.dat
I have added the bridge that goes to the ghost town, the intercity highway, and also copied the banshees handling to the taxi while making it heavier
