I've been browsing the market and all the games seem the same. Different variations of Angry Birds, puzzles, bounce to the top, or scrolling to the side killing low quality zombies. What games do you guys play?
On a side note, I really don't like the way the market is set up. Theirs a billion apps but the same ones are at the top even if they're not the best. It seems nearly impossible to discover new apps.

I like Alchemy. It's a kind of puzzle game where you start with the basic elements (earth, wind, fire, water) and are supposed to combine them to get new forms like trees, lizards and volcanoes. Some of the results are off or silly like getting a lava golem by combining lava and DNA, but it's fun. I also like Fruit Ninja and Plants vs. Zombies. My top game on Android has to be my Sega Genesis emulator, GenPlusDroid. None of the Android games top the old Sonic classics for me.
Just wanted to add that Sonic CD was released today, and has a special introductory price of $1.99. It is absolutely fantastic, and brings back a lot of fun memories. The only downside is that the Sega servers have been slammed and it can take a while to download the necessary files. I was up and running in about an hour, no pun intended.

What I play varies, of late a mixture of what's installed; mostly Frontline Commando on my tablet.

Since some games like Nova and Modern combat: Sandstorm don't work on our phones, even with the update, if we show enough interest, then they might update them to run on our phones.
Please post here, if you want this to happen.

Sandstorm works. It just that its almost unplayable because of the lack of MT (Can't walk and aim at the same time)

Yeah, it works for me too.
Allready worked on Android 1.6, now even better.
I think they'll work very crappy because we don't have multitouch and it's a must for good gameplay in some of their games.
The better opetion would be to have them allow mapping of hardware buttons to try and use outside MT!
Dungeon hunter only kind of works. You cannot switch the controls to the control stick which is infinitely better than point and tap

I had the same thing on 1.6 - they even gave me another game as recompensation

Yo mate,i visited ur link but umm,i couldnt start Gangstar on the X10 mate ,nor Avatar...i mean they do start but the graphics are black objects and screwed textures (Its not my phone : All other games work like a charm).
(I also saw that i had the files on the SD from my old Gangstar so i didnt need to redownload,could those be the fault?)

Most of the Gameloft games work just find the version that is made to fit our screen size.
Asphalt 5 works for me... optimized for O1... but loading always take wuite some time, NFS Shift was also working for a friend tho i havent tried

FYI The only way to get some of these games on p500 (at least in the US) is piracy. Hawx and AC are not lisenced for our phones for example.
That makes most of this discussion fishy on the legal side anyway...

Bro, even so , it's still not ok to give out links with Haxxed games . Gameloft games are not the only ones on the market out there for android .
EA games fully support our phone and a lot more producers ( actually I'm pretty sure all except gameloft ) . Just download market enabler and you're done .

Definitely wasn't legitimizing the warez links... just noting a lot of games being talked about require a pirate to review in the first place.
On games actually licensed for our phones... NFS Shift runs great on on HW accelerated enabled Roms. Speedx ball is much fun as well. If you like MMORPGs then check out Pocket Ledgends.

I'd switch to FPSE. There are not going to be any more updates for PSX4Droid. The devloper went back to develop for the iDevice since the Market banned his account.
Additionally, you'll find the compatibility to be MUCH better on FPSE.

+1 for FPSE, best 5 bucks I've spent in a while! & Crash Bandicoot runs flawless on FPSE, while it was SLOOOOOOW on psxdroid!

I haven't had problems running psx4droid 3.0.0.6. Been playing ffix, silent hill, ace combat 3 and resident evil 1-2 (haven't tested 3) but really all in all its better than fpse, imho. Much smoother seems to utilize more of our phones.

Oh and I don't know about on Evo, but crash runs decent enough for what I played. Only played half of the first level but the actual gameplay was smooth. I am overclocked @ 1.3 btw.

Okay fpse runs front mission 3 flawlessly except the app does not recognize all the keys used with game gripper. I'm glad that front mission does not use all the button so I can move stuff around.
I won't turn this into a fpse thread but I will list games not working on psx4droid that work on fpse. You all may discuss both emulators anyhow. Thanks again.

diablo and ff 7
i cant get ether of thees to work. ff7 crashes at first battle and diablo crashes right after diablos head at loading screen. what format was image and is ther settings that need changes? please help
Tekken 2 works on both.
I prefer PSX4Droid to FPSE. Never hada problem with it, except for DBZ Legends could load/start the game.

I do too cuz for some reason I could never get gamesaves I've downloaded from online to work on FPSE, but PSX4Droid became obsolete on the GB builds.

I just tried setting this up and when I click on the bin file of Twisted Metal it doesn't start. Icon goes in notification bar to say psx4droid is running but no game. Is there something else I need to do? I downloaded the file from the site the author suggested in the Playstation section. Thanks.

Connect via WiFi first before going to check GameLoft's site for games. For R800x people (Verizon Xperia Play) it seems that recently Gameloft pulled a fast deal with Verizon and won't offer the Play's optimized games to people over Verizon's cell network. It forces people to buy them on Verizon's VZWapps market, which has inflated prices. (Seriously $7 for GunBros when I can get it for free on Android Market, screw that). VZW jacks up the price by $1-3 to take their cut.
So if you try it via WiFi, it works just fine, if you go over 3G, it won't let you get it straight from the GameLoft WAP shop.

depending what u like , i have crime life its RPG story game. i have pumpkins vs monsters its a very fun game like plants vs zombie but its being played differntly. fruit ninja to kill time. i used to have go go goat, it jumping game like doodle jump.
