Guys this channel has been around for a long time, and is kind of quiet, you guys come to the forum with a lot of question that could be easily be answered a lot quicker in IRC! I'm inviting everyone to come and join active conversation in there, you will learn a lot quicker, and also solve phone problems faster.
If you dont know what IRC is, just think of it as IM for geeks.
Theres 2 ways you could join us.
1. visit webchat.freenode.net and where it says channel type "moto-atrix"
or 2. and the one i recomend
Download an irc client, on windows you can download xchat 2
or
Linux: xchat
and join the freenode server, once in there, on the chat line at the bottom type
/join #moto-atrix
It sure isn't quiet in there anymore!

Somebody should really do something about this.
EDIT: samcripp, you might want to mention mIRC too. I've found that most windows users aren't too fond of Xchat for some reason.
I'm on irc 24/7 and have experience moderating several online chat rooms for years. I will volunteer my time to operate the channel if you guys want.

just search irc in the market, any one is pretty much the same as another. its up to personal preference.
I use AndroIRC
IRC Radio works well. I fumbled a little but got it figured out. I heard that Andchat was another good one that a lot of people use.
irc: freenode.net
channel: #Samsung-Epic
web chat: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=Samsung-Epic&uio=d4
Its a great channel just a bit quiet at times lol

I like the freenode IRC just fine. Why fragment the user base?
It is moving to an android central server at irc.droid-life.com. The server and channels in it cater to anyone with android phones.
More people need to get moving over there, oh and BAMP
If anyone can send me an invite to either one of these new services, I'll return the favor and send out invites!!!

I fully agree with the OP. These Google+ topics have nothing to do with the Samsung S2. Getting annoyed by scrolling through the topic list in my PREMIUM app because of these topics. Make one central topic in the XDA area for off topic and close the

Surely the google+ threads are more important than this useless thread. Report the threads and mods will take care of them if they consider them inappropriate. Starting up a new useless thread ain't much help
We make an effort to condense them down to one main thread in off topic.
That said, we can't be everywhere at once, send the relevant forum moderator a PM and they will deal with the situation accordingly.
Theres also the case that people may be wishing to create a specific circle for owners of a certain device, this would be difficult if every thread was merged.

Also, G+ seems to be a worse privacy jackpot than FB, which is big brother writ large!

Not that I believe that's what's happening in the offending threads, but that's a very good point.

Well its definitely not the case in most of them, however I have left a couple in sections I moderate due to the fact that they were started with that intention.
Should they turn into an endless invite whoring add4add fest then they will close.

The only "tricks" I know of are by trying to get invited by someone posting something to you, and there's a script in the off-topic forum that retries your invitation URL every 5 seconds. I left that going for over 24hrs and it didn't get in.
I've pretty much given up now. I'll definitely be all over it when I do get in, but I'm not putting my life on hold and waiting for it.

I think some of the issues are that G+ comes up while talking on the forum. Then other are desperate to get an invite. I am guilty of posting in a few of them. But your right. Unless the thread is to create a circle it should be in off topic.
PS... 88 person XDA huddle was awesome.
