Please help i have a problem after unlock - Xoom General

Hy today i get my new XOOM EU MZ601. I make the update to 3.2 and all works well.
After that i want to root. I unlock the tablet and flash the cwm and with CWM i flashed the Xoom-Universal-Root.zip. So after booting i get this message and the tablet do nothing....
I keep getting this error: "The SIM card is missing or not readable. Please insert a SIM card."
I inserted my sim from my LG 2x but same error.
Please what can i do?
THX a lot.
Craxx

i solved the problem by reflashing the MZ601_H.6.1-38-1_Retail_Europe firmware.

I can't imagine why you lost the use of the SIM card. You should be able to root.

Once I had your same issue butxit just fixed after flashing to Tiamat

ERROR!!! ''com.android.phone'' HELP

i've been reading this forum for a while, but
today I ran into a problem I really can't
solve.hoping that
one of you guys could offer some advice.
Here's the deal (I'll try to make it as short
as possible):
I've got an xperia x8, which worked fine
on my previous official stock ROM 2.1.
I installed a custom ROM (froyobread v.12)today and i keep gettn notified that ''com.android.phone'' had
stopped unexpectedly.
I've done everything I can think of, but this
problem persists as long as the current
SIM card is in. After each force close, the error
just repeats itself. Here's what I know:
other SIM card works flawlessly in the
phone with the custom ROM.
The error doesn't occur until it tries to
connect to the cellular network with the current SIM
Neither a soft nor a hard reset does
anything.
As I see it, there are a couple of options:
I think The SIM card is incompatible with the ROM because it works great on my old phone n also works great when i go bact to my original stock ROM 2.1.
If anyone can offer some insight or advice,
I'll very much appreciate it!
Thanks!
Did you try a full wipe? And just btw, I have a something like 10 years old sim card and it runs ok with FroyoBread
This is a known error for all custom ROMs. There are reports from Vietnamese guys saying that with some SIM cards it got FCs.
The only solution is to change SIM card, hopefully it will be compatible with custom ROMs. I don't have any problem like this so I cannot fix it myself.
yh gravier i did all the wipes seems to happen only when i put that particular sim in.
dx exactly what i have in mind, sad part is my operator phased out all the old type of sim and replaced it with this new type which is givin me all dis problems. thanks for d help man n oh great rom

Please help with Birthday Present

Dear experts,
I just bought the Mytouch 4G off Ebay for my wife's birthday (unlocked so no contract). I have rooted an LG Optimus T before so I thought I could do the same to this phone. My only problem is that I did not have a sim card in hand so I rooted and upgraded the Royal Ginger Rom without the sim card. Now my phone is working perfectly but there is an error of "no sim card, emergency calls only," even after I insert a sim card that works with another phone. I am running out of ideas, the only thing to try is to somehow load the factory default which I did not back up. At the moment with gfree, s=off, please help :-(...
Here is stock nandroid-

Restore and see if this works. Also I believe you have to activate your sim to register with tmo.
Thanks, did the back up method and everything is finally working again!!!
Your gift is half cool without virtuous unity ROM since phone is working try it.

F320S SIM Card not detected

Hated stock rom so rooted using ioroot, flashed TWRP and installed G3 port ROM
Inserted SIM card but phone wouldn't detect
Reflashed baseband thinking that would help, no luck.
Decided to revert to stock
Flashed the 4.2.2 KDZ - I was dumb and didn't notice it was 4.2 not 4.4
Still no sim card detected
Flashed 4.4.2 KDZ
Still no SIM card detected.
The SIM itself is fine and I've tried another SIM with same problem.
The IMEI is showing up correct. Could I have killed the EFS partition when installing custom ROM? Would that mess with the SIM card detection?
Help please. Much appreciated
I am having the same issue. Can someone help us?

Check your phone's baseband, probably not the cause but yeah.
Try to clean the simcard
Try to clean the simcard tray
See or your phone might be simlocked or something like that.
maybe try to logcat and watch in the logs something to sim related text.
I can't give you ideas based on experience.
EDIT: I saw your other thread.
So you have flashed F400(G3) rom on a F320(G2)?
If so then my question to you is, is your wifi working? Cause flashing could may have caused some issues with the partition layout. I don't think there will be big differences/no differences but just to be sure.
Did you also tryed to flash back to stock and or flash baseband?
Was sim working before you flashed the rom? What rom did you flashed from the g3? Just so I could maybe inspect the updater-script if it isn't too large to see or it may got other partitions.

Did you find the solution bro
I'm having the same problem. I was on some old CM13.1 rom for LG G2 VS980 and releases prior to it, sim card was working without a problem. But only last night after updating from 10day old CM13.1 nightbly build with yesterday latest build, the sim card stopped working.
I tried method online which said to remove the card for one minutes before booting. Did it and didn't work.
What can I do now?

Sim Card 1 not detecting after flashing stock rom.

Hi Guys.
I am in a weird situation right now. My phone was running on A6000_L_S054_150915 (Andorid 5.0.2) and it was getting new update but not getting installed. Then i flashed A6000_L_S062_161223 stock rom but unfortunately it gave an error while flashing and flashing didn't complete and my phone become dead.
Then i re-flashed it with the previous running rom [A6000_L_S054_150915] successfully and phone started working again but now it is not detecting any sim card on slot 1. Only slot 2 working.
Please help
Can anyone help me plz?
