i need the vitakey installer in english from program files/vitakey...please.
I'd also be really interested in this because I find the french translation reaaaally bad !
I wrote to [email protected] a week ago but of course no answer so far...
I have italian version for who interesed...
Dutch translation also sucks..
I believe the programm takes its translation from te language settings from vista.
I have a "normal" UK version and just set the location and language settings to Netherlands and Dutch at first boot.
So I guess there is only one version of the programm and the terrible translations are build-in.

can you zip your installer and put it here please?
Thanks.
yup, I also needed english installer of vitakey
Please someone out there, please upload here
seriously, you're better off without it. it's a MAJOR cpu hog when the password bank is enabled, i routinely get 40-50% cpu utilization from vitakey.

Is there any alternative software I can use with the shift?
The hog is due to the password bank process. Just disable it (in settings, choose not to store password or use existing ones), and you have the fingerprint for your logins.
Back to the topic, I would like also to get this installer if somebody could post it?
TIA
There you go...

Thanks a lot Pof.
BTW, the installation files are multilanguage. They just adapt to whatever language you have on your system. So it is easier to fool it by changing language parameters before installing.
Hi,
I have a UK English HD2. Unfortunately, this ROM version doesn't have a Russian keyboard on it, and I need it very much. Is it possible to install it on my device and can anybody share it with me?
Thanks very much!
Sure, here you go.
Resco Keyboard can do Cyrillic
Best check the trial version first though to ensure stable...
Thanks very much, vangrieg - it works!
Vangrieg, thank you very much!
I had the same problem; have a UK ROM but I do need a russian keyboard sometimes..have been looking for something like the cab you posted for quite a long time.
Thanks.
Doesn't work for me It does install, and there is an option Russian/English available through the keyboard menu (though no appropriate button), but nothing changes when I click Russian.
What about FingerKeyboard?
One of the most versatile keyboard programs I have used and is the very best keyboard for typing on in my experience, Blackstone or Leo.

hi,
hehe, I used to have the same problem!
you'll need to activate Unicode for sending messages in russian.
when you write an email in russian, go to "menu" in the right bottom of your screen. the list will appear, choose something like "message options" (I have a french version so.... ) than you'll have another list where you'll be able to choose a language from the list. pick "Unicode (UTF-8)" this one is more common I think.
same for the SMS messages - if you what you recipient to recieve a something in russian you'll have to activate Unicode.
please let me know if it worked.
cheers,

Hi,
I've tried to change options to UTF-7 and UTF-8, the only two options for unicode i have, but to no avail. This seems only affect my emails, when i text in russian, it works even without changing to unicode.
Any ideas what else to try?
Thanks
Hey, I installed the keyboard. It might be good to note that you have to soft reset the phone after installing. It functions but the problem is that the bottom row (the one with the space bar) doesn't render right. It's shifted down and to the right. Is there a newer version perhaps?
Who see ??????? signs? Recipient? That cam meat, that reciepient device (phone, PC, PDA or other) not support/don't have installed cyrylic support. This is only my suspections.
I suggest chceck SunnySoft site for localization pack. Inside is InterWrite keyboard and other stuff, so this should help. If you have this allready instaled, so go to Settings and find InterWrite icon, and look around settings. There are keyboards for your country.
Sorry for my bad English. I hope this is understandable and helpfull.
Russian xT9 is already installed. All I need is a Russian Keyboard layout to use it. The SunnySoft interWrite software is not what I'm looking for. What I'd like is the OEM Russian keyboard layout.

I have the same problem as qBot.
Installed with no problem. Menu (for selecting keyboard) in Russian, but never changes, when I select Russian, stays in English.

I have the same problem. Anyone knows why is it like that? Thanks
Another russian keyboard cab. But no guaranties of course. It worked for me with some old WWE rom.
Thanks! It works.
I'm about to buy an HTC Wildfire.
It is not available in my country, but I found an on-line store who ships the phone at a good price, however, it has written the following warning: "Software in Spanish".
Does Android allow you to choose the language as any other phone OS (except WM) or is it pinned down to one language as the Windows Mobile handsets?
No idea anyone?
Yes you can change the display language. Well you can on my UK T-Mobile one.

If it's not bothering too much, can you check if it has "Portuguese" or "Português" on the list?
At least I'll know if I can order one from the UK.
Here you go http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c344/cerbera1971/DSCF3392.jpg
Thank you!
yeah, but isn't that the locale? where it changes just the date, currency and stuff like that?
Does it change all the menu's language? A complete language change?
thanks
There are missing some languages in stock rom, but you can find a lot in CM7. In my case, neither of stock and CM7 has it. I'm looking for a Persian rom.
Is there way to android use serbian onli for showing day of week and mounth, and to rest of interface stay on english?

Hey, I've got myself a LG Urban2 LTE.
My problem is that the missing my language, Swedish.
Is it possible to add languages that are not available from the beginning in the clock?
If it is possible, how do you do this?
Grateful for advice

Android wear 1.x did not have the swedish language as an option what I can remember. But it should be possible to set swedish keyboard and voice recognition though.
