Hello,
I want to delete all files and folders on the internal file system.
There are a lot of folders from app I have just tested and uninstalled.
The "wipe data / factory reset" option does not delete the files - only
the user settings.
Compared to a computer I want to do a "format c:" ... do you know what I mean?
Thanks...

If your gt is rooted be careful about deleting/formating . You might erase your boot files which will result in a a very expensive paper weight......
what do you mean??format usb storage or what?
Just use your file explorer and delete the folders not wanted.

hi all,
can someone upload a backup of internal sd card i.e. all the files in that are located in my files -> all files
if your storage is very big leave the android folder.
I formatted /sdcard and lost all s note templates and samsung ringtones and pics which I used as wallpaper.
Upgrading via kies restored everything

When I connect to PC in MTP mode i can see first "Internal Storage" then when i click, I can see my folders and files in somewhat my "SD card". But there are specifc files that doesnt show up like for the App Backup Restore, wherein all the backedup apps are stored, I could not see it when I open this folder. But when I use ES explorer in my phone, the backed up app files exist. Why is this so?
One more thing, I am still quite confused on the folder and file configuration of our nexy. It seems the folders "storage\emulated\0\", the "storage\sdcard0\" and the "\sdcard\" are all the same in content (i think). Can you explain how it works? Is it just like mirrors of the same sd card folder? if so, then which is the real one? Im confused.
One last thing, when you say "Internal Storage" or files in the "Internal Storage", does it refer to the phone system memory (is this also the "\storage\" ?) or the internal sd card?
Sorry for being a newbie..
One of the reasons why Im asking about the missing files is because I was hoping to transfer these APP backups to my PC because when I make factory reset or wiping in preparation for installing PA ROM, it might also delete the files in my SD card folder (or will it not)?
So I hope you could explain how I could see these files. All drivers were installed and PC communication is working well. Im just lost now how come I could not see this files wherein in the ES file explorer the files exists in that folder.
When you wipe to flash PA rom just factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik cache and system in advance wipe in twrp's wipe menu. That's all you need to do to make that switch to pa ROM. If you do not wipe data then you're fine. Everything in your internal storage will still be intact.

If you are talking about the files that you see when you enable show hidden files on ES file explorer, then you would need to do the same on the PC. Also, if these files are an extension that the PC does not recognize, maybe it is possible that it will not display them thru MTP.

5)Open link2sd and choose ext4, and he say mount script and reboot your device.
6)Open link2sd and choose apps and select create link and the apps is moved to sd card
If you want to delete your second partition.

Why format it as ext2? Isn't ext4 better?

Thank you for the information.
I may give this a try. Up to now I've been using custom ROMs, but all them them have small issues that niggle me. This solution may be the solution I'm looking for on non-rooted phones.
The solution is GL to SD. No partitions, no nothing. Just awesomeness
So what if your using a 16gb SD card, what would the settings be then?

No settings. Just install GL to SD and move your apps to the external sd card

Just delete the TWRP folder from internal storage (use My Files)
The ES Explorer app has a great feature called "SD Card Analyst" that will scan both the internal and external SD cards and tell you what it taking up all your storage space.
From that you can go right to the large files and delete them easily.
choose restore, the backup you want to delete and hit delete
