Sounds like you have incorrect recovery partiton for the particular roms you're running.
Do you have EU OR TMOUS HD2?
And what rom are you trying to run.... I can send you the right recovery once you let me know

How will I get out of the EU or which phone I have ... or I've misunderstood, I've taken this full_rafdroid_hd_ext_4r2 Rome. I come from Germany and use Google translator is not surprising, then, my English is not so good.

It's okay, understandable.
Maybe that particular rom doesn't support data2sd or ext partitions on sd card.
If you have already tried other ROMs then maybe you don't have a secondary partition on your sd, make one.

[Q] [Question]I have no internal memory and can't install apps

Ok so I installed an Android NAND Rom on my HD2, this is my 3rd ROM I have tried, all the others were fine, but with this one I have no internal memory, it shows up as 0.00b (completely empty) and I am trying to figure out what I can do to fix this problem.
I tried switching back to old ROM's but that did not work. I have also cleared my cache on my phone, that did not work either, anything you guys can do to help me?
Is there anything I can do to use my SD card as my default memory? I have a 16GB card but I can't install apps onto it. I can't install any apps at all. Nothing works.

It may be lame suggestion, but try to install stock WinMo rom, and again MAGRLD and different version of CWM_Recovery.
But first try only whit different version of CWM_Recovery.

+1 on this answer, @OP,sounds like you have flashed a large cwm partition layout that has taken up all the space for the system partition, a 400 one perhaps?
Same problem

Same issue here. Installed MIUI 2.9.29 on HD2 Leo. Internal memory shows 0.00B, which cannot be true. I did a complete wipe before installing ROM. Actually, after installing I did also factory reset/wipe cache/ wipe Dalvik, but nothing helps.
Searched for solution on this site and elsewhere, the only plausible advice is "clean reinstall", which is cumbersome for me.
Thanks if you share your thoughts.
EDIT: I used 150MB partition.

[Q] CWR

Hi all. Please forgive the noob questions.
Question #1. I was under the impression that CWR is better than DAF because it allows you to have different ROMS on your sd card and thus you can change your ROM as you like. My question is then if I have to task 29 and reformat and repartition my card as the developers request, then how is this possible as I would be wiping my sd card clean everytime I do this.
Question #2. Must I run the DAF(recovery) prior to every change in ROM? Also what is the differecnce between the Recovery and partitioning your card. Again I am not experienced even though I flash all the time.
The reason I ask is that I would like to change ROMS and wonder if I can just go from my cureent ROM, reboot and install from zip a totally different one that I have on my card. Thanks in advance.
you dont have to task29 every time., i have never used task29 and never had any issues with repationing or installing roms
the repartitionining is a pain but thats mainly only if you are going from 1 type to a different type e.g a sense rom to a cm7 or miui rom

Hi,
As Richy99 says ,task 29 is not necessary for every change of ROM.
To simplify matters, ksubedi has developed THIS TOOL (Don't forget to thank him)

So I can just repartition the card and not have to run Recovery(DAF in the rar)? Then istall from zip? I am going from a sense to MUI.

Hi,
You only need to partition the sd card once.
But the ROM system needs its own partition(CWM).
This partition is dependent on the ROM .
The [OP] should give the size of the partition, depending also on EU or TMOUS phones.
Again, once you know the partition size, use THIS TOOL to make it easy.

Thanks again for helping out. So I would need a comp to always run the recovery. Is it possible from the phone itself or am I just hoping and dreaming? You did clear up one thing for though. That both the card and rom need a partition with the ROM partition being the recovery file (DAF)in the rar.. Thanks.

With HD2 you will never get away from PC/laptop,like on a native ANDROID device.
Check out the toolkit. It saves a lot of configuration...

[Q] Partitioning issues.

Hello, I need some help with partitioning my Micro SD card. It is an 8GB class 6, and I know the basics, but that is it. What I really need to know is HOW to partition my SD card and what the hell 'EXT2/3/4' is all about. Now, I have had different suggestions as to what to do, I have to disc all ready with Gparted installed, and I am ready to use it, yet I have been told by some members of XDA the partitioning isn't even a requirement for ROMs. Is this true? I have a Euro HD2, and recently when trying to partition my SD card through Clockwork Mod (CLK) my SD card's memory dropped from 8GB to around 6.5GB. I have tried formatting it as I always do, but nothing seems to come of it. Anyway, what I would like to know is how and why I need to partition, especially EXT2/3/4 as this particular partition has come up on most ROMs I wish to install.
I hope someone can shine some light on this issue.
Thanks in advance -- Joe
(PS - I will click thanks for anyone who gives useful information)

First thing
Closckwork Mod is NOT CLK, they are different
if your memorcy card dropped from 8GB to 6.5~ , then your partioning was succesfull , what you cant see is the EXT partion that only android can see,
Go ahead and flash a EXT supported ROM , have fun

Sorry, I didn't realise they were different (CLK - Clockwork Mod) But if you say that the partitioning worked, then does that mean I have done all of the partitions, or just one?
You just need one partition not many ... so I guess you can find out by trying an ext supported ROM... try coredroid 1.6

HOW TO INSTALL ANDROID to internal memory, currently on SD card

can someone link me a how to or guide, i have the android on my sd running smoothly but i beed a guide on how to install it to the phones internal memory, i mean do i have to install windows stock rom in order to get it on the phone? or can i install it like it is now??? i just dont see any info on this partiicalluar situation
you cant (easily) move an sd build onto nand. You would probably do better to backup your contacts and stuff and go find a NAND rom you like the look of. start fresh.
i guess what im asking is there anything i need to do to prepare the device for the internal android install? i dont wanna copy and paste the install from sd to internal but im asking do i need to install windows 6.5 the original rom first or ican i just flasj it aka load it how my phone is now??? this i havent encoutered yet, and i want to make sure im doing all my steps right, if i need to just find a rom (NAND) and install it how they say???
and btw, the sd andorid version said it was nand but just on a sd build, weird huh? lol im also hearing that some of the sd builds are running faster than the NAND internal ones, can anyone speak of this?
ah well you may find that there are two download links in the thread perhaps? cant really comment, never taken much notice of sd android, , it never worked through haret/winmo for me, so i went straight to nand.
im using the gingerbread 2.3.7. by the way, is there any new ones or ones that you reccomend? im not picky just want somethign stable, fast and nice, htc sense or not doesnt matter let me know NAND btw

which one? half the roms are 2.3.7, just saying 'im on gingerbread 2.3.7' doesnt help much, , ,, far better to give the name, since there are so many variants.
here is the one i have
http://hottipscentral.com/how-to-install-android-gingerbread-2-3-7-on-the-t-mobile-htc-hd2/
is that the process you followed? If yes, then its already on nand rom. That article is about flashing typhoon (one of the most popular roms) to nand.
yes i followed it to a Tee, lol so your saying its already on the internal phone memory??? ok then so your saying i can take out my SD and it will still boot? hmmm and typoon is what the zip file i have says, can you help me a bit further im following you so far but want to make sure im seeing this right and doiong it step by step thx for replying
watch the video at the bottom of the page from youtube thats on there, thats the step i followed
sorry this is the one i have installed not sure how i got the other , but this is the correct one :Cyanogen MOD 7 Gingerbread 2.3.7
yea thats NAND. there isn't an sd version of typhoon.
yes you can take your sd out and it should boot. (if you have an EXT partition on your sd card ((i didn't watch the whole vid, but it wasn't mentioned)) then any apps you have installed wont be there till you reinsert teh sd card.)
you need to read read read, there are four or five important parts to nand android.
bookmark THIS starting point, and start browsing threads in the Q&A section and NAND development.
basically, your key components are
hspl 2.08.hspl - don't touch this again, android wont work on any other.
radio - fine, you wont need to touch this again any time soon, as with the hspl.
magldr, hold power to start it, the only option you will use is 8 - ad recovery, which starts cwm
cwm (cwr, clockworkmod clockwork, clockwork recovery) which is what starts when you choose AD recovery in magldr, you flash your roms from here, wipe your data from here, factory reset (back to android, not a real factory reset), , you can usb transfer in cwm, the one in magldr corrupts large files.
The cwm 'partition size' is 150 ( i think thats what he chose?) This is the inportant piece of info you need if changing to a different rom, since different roms need different sized system partitions.
You can change this in the tookit you used.
thx thx and thx!!! thats what i needed to know
Check out EasyAndroid, with it you can flash NAND Android from stock HD2 in 30min.
I like useing the clk loader as you do not see it load as you boot the phone, and you can use the android boot to recovery option.
if you already have and SD Android i would download TitaniumBackup and make a backup of all of your aps, as you can use this to save your aps across any Android Rom.
Have fun with NAND Android,

Lol mate, that's how many thanks you've received, not how many people you've thanked. i.e. if someone thanks you, your thanks meter increases. If you thank someone else, nothing is affected for you, only for the other person. Hope that's cleared it up

Hi embunsorehari, and welcome to the forum.
If you have any problems please include in your post as much information as possible to allow others here to make a better informed guess at a solution eg hd2 type (Eu or Tmous), installation method (nand only, NativeSD etc), recovery version, SD card type, partition sizes (nand and SD) etc. The more info you give, the more likely it is for you to receive a helpful reply
Also, what do you mean by "change my sd card"?

Did you flash the rom or was it already on your phone?
And do you mean you take the sdcard which came with the phone out and you put in a new one?
