WhatsApp in ICS it's getting FC when trying to send/receive images. With this version (older) I have no problem to send and receive images.

Build 2.7.431 not working fine for me. When I try to send or receive any image, I get an error and WhatsApp gets closed...
Ditto for me. 2.7.431 on Android 4.0.1 Galaxy Nexus cause "error" when attaching image or videos

hello to all gt-p1000/n/L/cdma user im from philippines im using gt-p1000 at start froyo os and tried to update to Gingerbread using Overcome Rom its smooth and fast but came up some bugs for me ( i think just me ) like ie: unexpected reboot or shutdown but i tried all possible fix that piryana post in every thread asking for fixes and i carefully follow every single instruction, but no luck to fix they said maybe (hardware).. and came up to my mind to upgrade to ICS and JB version OS. (thinking maybe this will be ok and good)
ICS= using all kinds of ics build from cm9 of cdesai, alroger, aokp # 40 and milestone 6 and cyanomogen 9 stable build. all of them is great enovation to our Tab and very smooth and reponsive. but also came up some bug but those bugs are known as minor because they made a final version of ics for tab. but for me in philippines gt-p1000 cant fix some important daily use feature like 3g, bluetooth and also unexpected reboot or shutdown ( 60-70% of battery start to reboot). I tried everything possible method to fix that bugs or problem like copy/paste modem.bin to radio, calibrating battery after full charge. bluetooth can send file but cant recieve file. i do everything possible fixes to make it work but no luck.:crying:

its great reading post that they have only minor bugs and they working 3g data and bluetooth and not having unexpected reboot. but to all developers keeping this tab on the line.. i giving you my respect and thank you..
wishing someday i can use your build daily even only 3G and bluetooth working and fix (dont mind about reboot i can handle it) :crying:
to philippines user if you made it work please share it to us..
for now using overcome with unexpected reboot..
to be short. our good old Gtab can't really handle ICS and JB well.

iam from the ph also.. iam using gtab sc-01c and converted it to p1000 running cm9 stable build with overcome kernel with no problem.. it has no internal/busted sd.. working fine with 4gb external with 3 partition only..

no doubt your rom is best ever rom i used but me facing 3 different problems please guide me with any solution tht how can i solve these prblems
1st is the text message problem that it is limited to 3 pages that is 480 characters total then its stop like this image
2nd is shealth problem which is not calculating correctly u can notice that after walking almost 5000+ steps its still showing less then 1km distance which is not correct bcoz i walked the same way same time same steps on my stock rom which is almost 4km but on custom rom from 4.1 til now 5.3 its not working fine like this image
3rd is smart alert which was good in s4 stock rom like i put over my mobile from surface then it turns light on of screen so that i didnt need to press home button or unlock button on my phone to turn on em too searched for this on net but didnt find good solution

I upgraded the rom from 5.2 to 5.3 and did the full advance wipe, format data and installed it by however I lost my network and I no longer get 3g connection. How can I fix this?

i think two solution.
in one hand, maybe you lost yours APN settings. so, you have to look up the company (movistar, personal, at&t, whatever) settings in google.
In the other hand, try to change your modem according to your region. there are a lot of helpful post in this forum where you can learn how to change it.

Stock kernel
When i installed the stock kernel version of ozcanrom 5.3, I got problems with apps such as swiftkey (keeps on failing to install language pack) and whatsapp (cannot take pictures or view them), so i realised that every app that i installed did not write to the system drive (there were no folders on system drive that showed that these apps were installed) but when i installed the custom kernel, this problem did not exist, so is there anyone who can help?

Did you...
a. Apply the patch of fouldermount. Try to download this apps from Google play.
b. Wipe cache and delvik?
C.if nothing of above work, try to reinstall the apps. (In my first time I did that)

Any features log? I'm using the version 2 of CM13 for Hydrogen with replaced files for Helium because version 3 had issues with the modem. I will try it and post what I see.

Can't install it. ERROR 7 on helium.
Edit: Okay, flashed successfully. In case of an error 7 just do a factory reset in TWRP

Why make another thread about this? It was already posted here. You are just adding confusion.
This isn't even posted in the right forum. The last you could have done was post this in roms sub forum.
This is completely different CM13 from different developer so separate thread is better for tracking bugs... IMO...

Did a dirty install. First off, my 3G stopped working like on version 3 of CM13. Notifications came in Chinese even though input language set to English. Restored my v2 backup as I need this as a daily driver.

Sorry I did not test it that far as I stopped when the same 3G signal problem was occurring on the phone.

there are some rogue software like 2345,360&baidu were pre-installed . all of them are notorious for their rogue action in china. and since it's unofficial builds ,PLZ use with cautious

But on my other official Phones and rom official when an MMS is received the data themselves active and backoff
While with CM13 IMPOSSIBLE!
The data never activates when MMS arrives or when I want to send an MMS.

I hd the same problem with the official Chinese 7.5 until I tried Textra from the google store, then all was good. I don't know if it could be something as simple as the app, but couldn't hurt to try, or maybe I'm being a simpleton (again),
Hi thank you for your help but for me with MIUI rom 7 of the Official I received MMS without being connected to 3G
While with CM13 always be connected to the data to send and receive MMS!
I tried everything, Textra, messenger, etc etc. chompSMS and none works.
Whenever I have this message: please activate the data!
Except that prior to the official rom the data will enable any one to send MMS
Another version cm13 dated Jul 31 uploaded at #2.
I wish these guys share the kernel source and we get develoter here do some clean CM13 without the chinese and otner extra things in it... 27 pages on that thread and no useful feedback. I'll pass... Don't need another Chinese release.

It's for serranodsds while mine is for serranoltexx
Having the duos and LTE versions working is very positive (3g version have much things in common with LTE), so I think we are in the right way. Very thankful with developers, WELL DONE!!
Great work, all working perfectly, the only bugs I found were:
1 - When trying to access the properties of the any file, the CM File Manager suffers crash. (i'm solving using another File Manager temporarily)
2 - The FM Radio application does not appear to have been installed.
3 - In the grid menu, the icons are not symmetrically arranged, getting a bit scattered (I don't consider well a bug).
Despite this the essential works very well: Camera, Wifi, GPS, AGPS.

Many thanks to share, overall impression is very good for a 1st build,
around 8 random reboot in 12 hours (2 when calling), I don't restore from backup, only call list and sms,
same random reboot with previous AICP 11 (marshmallow) 2 times per weeks.
Anyone else with reboot ?
I have no reboots.
Beside misaligned icons on stock launcher i have some fc on file manager and various app, and camera not working.
Anyway is very promising for an early build

i follow the main CM13 thread quite closely, so was already aware of the early CM14 test versions. My post was to advise the OP to be more respectful and courteous to @arco68's work.
I don't follow this thread, I was happy you point the right direction,
I was more confident to flash after I see who make this build, I post the link for other like me.
Now 12h without 1 random reboot,I think my problem is solved, only difference: I don't restore call list and sms (around 2k)
Some side effect like sluggish interface and long delay to respond when I open the magnetic cover have also totally disappear.
Only 2 problems like said: file explorer can't access microsd card but strangely other applications have access and video recording.
I will check to see which one exactly cause my problem (call list ? sms list ? other thing ?)
For a 1st build, I would say it's totally usuable and 99% perfect !!!
Before i found this Rom, this Rom still work but camera and Youtube not work, after i see this GSI Rom Android Q, my phone run perfect, Camera worked, Youtube loaded my accounts and SIM card worked !!! You can see my Signal not show but still work normal and you can call normally
