baseband & imei unknow, sim not detected help me pls! - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Hi guys,
Unfortunately my gnote abandoned me after less than a week. The first 2-3 days later I had no problems then this happened:
I bought a new sim which I promptly inserted into the terminal, when I did not even realize that I had asked for the pin but the next day when I ricceso the phone and the situation was the same as I'm concerned. Without going into detail I will explain what tests I did.
Reboot, factory reset, and downgrade the firmware to the original kka kj4 stocks by odin. It worked but only until the next reboot.
Today this practice is not good and that is the case, no line, no baseband, no imei.
Will I still have the warranty? Do you have tips?

Kindly check for EFS folder
also try a stock firmware and it should be fine I hope

An easier way of restoring lost IMEI (GT-I9500)!

Hi!
I just like to share something I have discovered during the time I was already going nutts when I discovered that my phones IMEI was replaced by another set of numbers. It all started when I flashed a Firmware XXUBUBMG1 (Movistar) that I downloaded. It was for GT-I9500, the same model as my phone. Everything went well, then I noticed this problem when I decided to call the Customer Service Number of my SIM, the device is telling me that my phone is Not registered on network. Then I decided to check the IMEI and to my horror, it was replaced by this set of numbers, 004003150000, which is not my phones IMEI. Then I decided to look for answers over the internet. But before going further and going thru all the trouble of starting from scratch, an idea came to my mind. I decided to try it out before doing anything else. And whoalah! My phone's IMEA is restored! I can make calls again and connect to the net via Mobile Data again.
Anyway here is the solution that I came up with. If anyone else had tried this before then I give all the credits to him for fixing his phone.
1. Download a firmware that is intended for your phone's model number and the region where you bought your S4. Mine was bought in Saudi Arabia, so the firmware I got was for KSA. It also applies for the GT-I9505.
2. Enter Download Mode and flash this firmware via Odin on your PC. I didn't do any Wipe or Factory Reset during this time.
3. Root and install any custom Kernel or CWM Recovery on your phone if you are on this setup. Otherwise leave it as it is.

[Q] Lost IMEI and BASEBAND (unrooted s4 i9500 )

Hello guys.
My brother has S4 i9500 and he recently updated his phone via ota (official samsung update). But the update could not be done successfully and he removed the battery after waiting for 45 mins.
The result, the phone lost its BASEBAND version and IMEI.
1. The phone is not rooted. Therefore no efs Backup.
2. It's out of warranty.
3. The Samsung service centre said the motherboard need to be replaced which will cost $100-120.
4. I did factory reset already. No help. Now the phone is back to the 4.4.2 android.
Pls help me guys. How can I get the IMEI and BASEBAND version back. And I want to spend $100 on this.
Flash the original modem for the device and both IMEI and baseband should return. However, humor me. Pull your SIM card first and then see if you have IMEI and baseband. If you do get both after pulling the SIM, your SIM tray may be toast. If that's the case, Amazon sells them for about $10, and they're easy to install.

No network/No service/No signal... GT-I9500

Hello guys
my problem started when I tried to upgrade from 4.4.2 (KitKat) to 5.0.1 (lollipop), I tried first to upgrade using Kies but I just didn't work it recognized my phone and downloaded the firmware but couldn't install, so I went to the other option "odin" I flashed the firmware for my region for my phone yet when it turned on I had a very week signal.
when I tried going back to kitkat I had no service at all and lost my IMEI and baseband, then I tried different regions of lollipop and kitkat, but still nothing, and I thought I lost my IMEI and that I need to write it manually using this box (I don't remember its name) until yesterday when I flashed a Turkish kitkat which restored my IMEI and baseband but still no service, then I backed up my efs folder and went on trying every modem in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025
I tried everyone of them some gave me "no service" others "emergency calls only" and a third group didn't even recognize the sim card however all of them changed my IMEI to either NULL or the fake IMEI.
now I tried to restore my esf folder but it didn't work, so I thought to re-flash the Turkish firmware (which retrieved my IMEI and serial) but also didn't work and now I still have a fake IMEI which is weird because it worked before.
I tried every method every solution and nothing worked
I even contacted Samsung who told me that it cannot be fixed in Europe cause it is an international model and has to be fixed from where it was bought (Jordan)
and now um feeling really hopeless
please help

Samsung Galaxy s5 (sm-g900t) no signal, not service.

My samsung galaxy s5 g900t started having problem this morning. I;ve been using blisspop rom since 3 month ago and everything was fine. But now my phone wont even find a signal. The signal bar is empty. I though it might have been because of an app. therefore i deleted any unusual app, and nothing happened. Then i proceeded to factory reset and nothing happened, then i decided to change the rom, and nothing happened ( i changed to 6 different roms, all between LP and MM. I proceeded to flash the stock firmware via odin, it successfully flashed the stock firmware, However nothing happened. It has an empty signal bar with and x on the inside. So far I've tried with different sim cards and it happens the same. NOTHING. My phone has been using heavy duty covers since day 1. The last cover i bought was the Love Mei one. Which is Extremely heavy duty. (combination between aluminum and rubber). However im starting to think that i will have to buy a new part of the phone. I know about phones, and software related, however i dont know as much as a professional or amateur would about hardware (external)
Can someone please give me suggestions about what to do before proceeding to buy a new part? If i have to buy a new part, which one do i have to buy? the antenna? or what? I've posted the picture of the screenshot ( look at the signal bar) Forgive me if someone has posted the same issue, however the suggestions xda was telling me are far from being the same than my problem.
Do you still have an IMEI if you type *#06# ?
If not, I hope you backed up your EFS partition before flashing ROMs

No. I didnt. Okay i though it was a lost cause. Here is what happened, somehow my EFS folder got erased, and my imei and S/N were gone along with it. After you lost those 2 essential things every company turns their back on you. So, it is either you fix it by buying one of those boxes that fix imeis and networks related, or buy a new logical board on ebay; or just give up and proceed to buy a new phone. However, even though i saw that my imei was null, and my S/N was also gone, Having no backups of EFS, I was at the edge of giving up. Until i decided to do the following: I installed the firmware that came with the phone. which it was a 4.4.2 version. Then i upgraded it to 5.0. And..... Everything was back... however my IMEI is not the same that came with the phone. Which is kind of odd. How did i get a new IMEI by just goning back and for between upgrades? Who knows.... Anyway, now I have full bar as its supposed to be. And currently 4g. (There was another thing i did but i will refrain from telling, since it isnt that interesting)
Very strange, but good news it's working
I'd would strongly advise you to back up that EFS partition asap now just in case

Ueah. I never thought that would happen to me. Thats why i never did the backup. I did it as soon as i saw that i got signal, service, imei and sn back. Haha
No-one ever thinks it will happen to them, that's why I backed mine up before I even decided to flash anything custom at all

N910F numerous issues in the last two weeks, should I give up and sell the phone?

Let me preface this with some quick info about the phone. I bought it two years ago and it was SIM locked to Vodafone, Vodafone basically told the guy selling it to me it'd take 6 weeks to unlock so to get around this I went to a third party phone shop who told me they unlocked it but it wasn't until later I realised they had actually changed the IMEI of the device to get it to work. This was okay though, the phone worked fine and didn't give any real issues until two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago my N910F on Kyubi Note 5 Port ROM began telling me "not registered on network" (couldn't make calls, texts or use 3G), I went through standard troubleshooting with my carrier and it didn't appear to be on their end (the SIM worked in a Galaxy S 3 I have spare). I decided to update to 6.0.1 stock from Sammobile using Odin to see if it solved the issue, unfortunately it didn't. I was advised by something I found online to check if the IMEI was blacklisted on Swappa- turned out it was. I brought it back to the shop who had originally changed the IMEI. The guy in the shop told me it wasn't blacklisted but the reason for no service was because the device had a sum of "none" where the serial number should be when you dial *#06#.
He "fixed" the devices by changing the IMEI again and reverting to 4.4.4. He told me not to update it and everything would be fine. Obviously I wasn't too happy with being stuck on KitKat so he told me if I need to come back within 2 weeks after breaking it again that he'll fix it for free. Now the phone on 4.4.4 was giving a serial number and everything appeared fine.
I flashed 6.0.1 onto it and again the S/N became "none", but everything still more or less worked despite this. Since then I have Rooted it, flashed TWRP and installed Xposed. Once I installed Xposed problems began to arise again, the phone is reporting the SD card as corrupted repeatedly, everytime the phone turns on, once finished booting I will get a black screen with just a navigation bar and an empty battery icon (then after 2-3 mins it's fine), 3G wouldn't work at all, wifi passwords aren't being remembered, following boot I get the error message "process system is not responding would you like to close it".
Thankfully I made a backup in TWRP before putting Xposed on the device and restored the system to that this morning, which fixed the 3G issue but all of the other problems are still there (despite not having been there before Xposed was installed).
What should I try now? Should I go back to the guy again? Should I try revert to stock 4.4.4 or 5.1.1 through Odin? I'm really tempted to just cut my losses and sell it, but I love the phone so much. Any help is massively appreciated.

Changing the IMEI is illegal in most countries and therefore the discussion thereof is prohibited on XDA.
