Hi all,
I've updated my uk t-mobile atrix (locked bootloader) via rds lite with the uk retail update. Now every time I use the gps the phone reboot after 1-3 mins. This is not random as it's happened every time i have used used gps. Now the interested thing is I've managed to stop the reboots when using gps by using a different sim card from another network. When I use my giffgaff (02) sim gps reboots every time but when I use my t-mobile sim it doesn't.
Does any body have any ideas why? When I used rds lite to flash the retail update could it have flashed wrong? Could it be the new radio version? Could the hardware be faulty and the update has made it more apparent?
Also is the uk t-mobile atrix 100% the same as the uk retail handset.
Any help could be much appreciated
Well mine was rebooting all day today. It started after applying experimental kernel ( can't remember mod name). Reverted back to cm7 stock kernel but still got reboots. I have notice that all reboots happened while I had ny phone in a pocket. Took it out and left it on table and I did not have a single reboot. I will do some more tests and see how it will behave tomorrow.

I think I've sorted out my problem. I have flashed back to the older retail gb radio which I think is the same radio I was on before the update N_01.95.00R_gb_retail_29jun2011.zip
GPS has been perfect for the last hour with no reboots using my giffgaff sim. It looks likes the new radio doesn't like using giffgaff in my area or maybe it still a hardware fault that doesn't show on the older radio.
Just to confirm I did have to unlock my bootloader and install recover to flash my radio.

Hello All,
I'm one day new to Android, but deep in WinMo (formerly here) and iPhones.
I Rooted using SuperOneClick and all went well.
Installed 2init, all good.
Flashed CM7.1 Stable
Now I have no data service. I went ahead and saw the baseband selector and I selected Argentina, I'm in the Dominican Republic, but it's the same frequencies (850/1900) and nothing.
Please help.

Hello! Sometimes, same frequencies means nothing in Baseband switcher. I think you have to check all the frequencies and options until you find the correct one.
Greetings!
Try all the basebands until it works
Motorola Defy CM7 RC 1.5 OC 1GHz
Tried China ME722 1.10 (850/1900/2100) No Good Either
Australia Telstra 2.26.0 (850/2100) got EDGE, atleast.
I have been trying all of them, and only get EDGE. When I tried Argentina Claro, I got 3G but only for like 5 seconds then the entire signal was lost. Gonna keep searching.
Well, It all Failed No 3G
I even had a live chat with Motorola and they confirmed that my IMEI matches the sticker on my box, the bands are correct for my networks etc, so I guess my only option is to flash my phone back to factory and send the phone for replacement: It's two days old.

Can Someone link me or tell me how to revert CM7.1 to Original 2.2 firmware that came with my phone? Is there a way from me reading the label on the box to put the original firmware back and even "un-root" the phone?

You have to flash a SBF. It's the only way to have an original firmware again and un-root the phone. You should check this and choose a SBF file. Also, if you are lucky, you can find the original SBF file of your provider on Google.
ok here it is. i've flashed various roms but don't really know what everything is, i just followed all those insturctions but never bricked my device..
I live in China, use 3g mobile internet, my phone is korean note2(shv-e250l), use slimkat 4.4.2 nightly, bandwidth MI1, kernel thor 2.9.
i've been using these for about 1 month, and there was not any big problems, except that it feels like my signal strength or internet speed isn't as good as stock rom
but yesterday, when I hung up after calling my friend, all of sudden my phone can't read my sim card, so i reboot the device, and my mobile network doesn't work, and i reboot again, finally everything works.
after that, everytime i call someone my phone goes stupid and i have to reboot it twice.
and I started to wonder, does my bandwidth need to be updated? can I use newest stock rom's bandwidth?
newest stock rom of korean note2 is NA1, will using its bandwidth solve my problem?
if it does the magic, how do i apply bandwidth of NA1 to my phone?
HELP ME.............
Hey guys,
About 2 months ago I brought an i9505, it's overseas stock I think it had firmware for Netherlands? Anyway it worked perfectly fine in Australia. No issues what so ever. I recently though ok I really want to root my phone and install an AOSP rom. I flashed the 4.4.4 Google Play Edition rom located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353 I also tried out a few other ROMs but with every ROM I had this problem with reception dropping down to 1 bar randomly, then at times the antenna would be gone all together and had some circle with a line through it. Sometimes it comes back but if I leave my phone over night when I wake up in the morning I cant send sms's or make calls.
I don't know what im doing wrong ive followed the instructions corresponding to the ROM developers notes. I really don't want to return to stock firmware because that's the only firmware that currently works fine.
Cheers.
Hi guys
My phone was rooted but never flashed a ROM on it. Today I updated my phone to Lollipop through Kies Mac. After that my signal is not there. When I reboot the phone I get signal for few seconds then it gets lost again. Also phone never saves my Wi-fi connections.
I did reset my phone but still the same.
It was locked to Vodafone and I unlocked it in Vodafone shop when I first bought it do you think anything related to that?
How can I downgrade to KitKat or get my signal working?
Same here. Do any of you guys know how to solve this issue?

Please use the search function of this site and google, don't be lazy. There is a thread about downgrading . Also try flashing lollipop modem/bootloader, for this visit any of the TouchWiz Lollipop rom threads (like the one in my signature) most of them talk about flashing modems and bls.
Hi,
So I have only 3G connection on my Note 3, can't connect to LTE. I think it broke down a while ago when I was updating MagmaNX to UX10. ROM was working fine so I decided I don't want to break it down further and decided to go on with just 3G. But recently I decided to switch back to RR N by vidwhal, becuase Magma became laggy so I started playing with different modems and the result was either bootloop on older modems or just 3G connection on later ones. Currently I'm on CP_N9005XXUGBPG1 but I tried almost all of modems and BL from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/bootloader-baseband-bl-cp-samsung-t3582504
It's apparently not ROM dependant as it's broken on both MagmaNX and RR N. Any other ideas on how to fix it?
Oh, and GPS also became pretty bad, it takes a few minutes to get the first fix.
If it matters I live in Poland.
Usual reply wipe phone flash stock rom .
Wouldn't connect to LTE on stock as well. Finally I found out it was not my phone's fault but carriers. Other SIM card in my phone has LTE and my SIM in another does not.
