You can try to build or buy a jig. If that doesn't work you're fubar. Learn from this experience and next time use the carpenters saying : measure twice , cut once. I wish you best of luck.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk

where can i buy the jig ?
or how can i build it ?

You can buy it on eBay, or search in these sections (or google "SGS jig") for instructions to make it.
You'll need a microUSB cable and a 301k resistor (example : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819551)

ok , i know what a JIG is , and i found one on ebay ,
but they will ask me to torn on the phone , and at this moment , i`m not able to turn it one , do u think that once i plugin the JIG it will turn one ? and do his job ?

IDK but you can try, it's not expensive.

ok i will order 1 , and hope will make my phone turn on !
wish me luck , anc if u have other opptions just to make it turn ON just let me know !
thanks

other ideeas ? i`m ready to test them all )

you need the S2 forums, they may help.

Is it a galaxy S (i9000) or is it a galaxy s2 (i9100).

[Q] Updated - Pseudo Bricked my epic

Screen shows a picture of a cell phone and a computer with a yellow triangle.
Any way to get Odin to pick up on this to load the stock image back?
Yes, odin will work. Iv bricked my atleast 4 times.

Can you give me an idea how? I can't get into any other screen except this all black one with a white phone, yellow triangle, and white computer...I'm lost on this one - I never had an issue so far and this is my 3rd rooted android phone. I am far from noob.
Yep, got that screen a few times when first learning the in's and out of this phone.
Hold the #1 key on the slide out keyboard and press power to get into download mode. Use Odin to flash to stock and try again.
Ok - ODIN is giving me:

What gives here? This is my first samsung, so ODIN is new to me.
Follow this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=773032
Well, ODIN gets to "File analysis" now and just sits there.
Any other ideas?
Odin is now sitting at <ID:0/010> param.lfs
hasn't moved in 4 or 5 minutes....worrying me.
Well since you're not a noob, then I probably don't need to tell you that you should have odin open and ready, then plug the phone in, and THEN boot into download mode. In that order. you need to boot the phone into d/l mode before it starts charging once its plugged in. good luck.

The same exact problem happened to me. I believe it was caused by the USB connection not being strong enough for the recovery. I managed to get it to work by using a different USB port on my computer and trying repeatedly to make the recovery. After many attempts it went through and was successful. You likely will notice there is zero activity in Odin when this problem is encountered. I would try another USB port, start over with the same port (pull battery), try a different cable, try a different computer. After several hours of repeated attempts it finally went through for me.
I also used a different version of Odin to do the recovery v. 3.04. More about that version is shown here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703998 The connection to Odin is a light blue in that version NOT yellow. I can confirm a very successful recovery from a soft bricked m110s.
I followed the steps shown in the Pit Stop which mirror these. The USB connection was so poor that occasionally it could not even be detected as a com port. One last thing is I made sure that all Kies processes were not running. I am on Windows Vista. CTL-ALT-DEL and end all Kies processes. I also had to load USB drivers which are part of heimdall-suite-1.3.1-win32. Look for a drivers directory in that suite and a file named zadig.exe. I'm totally new to this scene but you need a response and it worked for me. I hope some of what I wrote will help you and give you the answer to your recovery or some options to try to get the recovery started.

I hv tried again and again but every time on second stage it gets Failed. Can I bypass second Stage

says it all about your level of knowledge )))
soo imho step 1 and 2 are usless and what would help and shorten the process is: step 3 with repartion ticked and pitfile from step 1
also it is good idea to backup /EFS/ partition that contains IMEI and from my experience when you flash wrong firmware (wrong device)
the efs partition aka imei gets corrupted and gives you back some internaly hardcoded imei with zeros at the end
so also the process of checking imei (checking device type) is not fully reliable
good intentions but poor execution - good if it works for ome but ...
Thank! dear for saving my bricked phone.
I bought a GT-I9000 from a online dealer but it was not a actual, it was a fake I9000 it was a M110s but I was not aware of this, its firmware version was 2.3.4 and have a lidroid rom installed with I9000 model no. and it was not connecting with Kies anymore so I decided to upgrade with Odin so I downloaded I9000 firmware with 2.3.6, and my phone got bricked. finally I found your guide and I saved my bricked phone.
thanks for your hard work.
But sir before its model no. and starting screen was showing GT-I9000 but now it is M110s at all. please can you give me any link to restore again to GT-I9000 model no. and starting screen. I have no additional information about baseband version but I only know Its model no. was
I9000 kernel version 2.6.35.7 build number lidroid- I9000-1.2

Well, you should have posted in general section sticky thread.. bricked my phone post here thread.. this is dev section.. so thread like this should not be created here..
Why did you flashed a stock rom of y for a pro duos device?
Now, to problem.. connect to pc using usb connector.. press and hold volume down + home button + power button for a minute literally... doesn't matter if you are having white screen or not... after completing a minute..
Press volume up button once..
Now by using Odin.. flash the firmware for pro duos.. it will work..
Now pro duos firmware can be found in my kernel thread for pro duos.. and I have written a guide for how to do it too... read them carefully
..
Its in my signature... guide don't know something? Check this... thread name..

I see u are very nervous person. U start to flash without know what u are doing sir. U have problems ofc. I give u a council: Relax urself and read a lot for understand what u are doing with ur phone. I let u here what u have to do to step by step:
- Flash this stock rom u are downloading by Odin 3.09
- If all go ok, root it and install custom recovery if u wish
- Make a SD Internal Backup
- For change CSC only download this program HERE
- Enjoy it :highfive:
m not able to flash new firmware .. like odin says not successful every time
selected firmware as AP in odin 3.09 but wasnt helpful
this is what odin says
<ID:0/008> Odin v.3 engine (ID:8)..
<ID:0/008> File analysis..
<ID:0/008> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/008> Initialzation..
<ID:0/008> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/008>
<ID:0/008> There is no PIT partition.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
You must either put also a correct pit partition file in odin if you need it, or uncheck "repartition" box if you don't need to flash a pit file. If you check repartition without a correct pit file, it will fail.
Enviado desde mi GT-I9500 usando Tapatalk 2
used pit file frm this thread ... n alone pit file gets successful in odin but firmware isnt getting successful
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
n then when after successful pitfile flashing .. fone restarts .. n i have to again start it with boot repair file .. n then when i put it in download mode again n try to install firmware .. it again says no pit partition
and when i try to install both pit file n firmware then it says .. complete(write)operation failed :|

This looks more like emmc chip (your phone's storage chip) error, you already lost all your data and if its a hardware issue then i doubt software reflash could fix it, but do tell me what was your current firmware number which was in your phone before all this , also send a pic of download mode..
Also what screen stripes you were talking about in your earlier thread? Send a screenshot of them too (looks more like a hardware problem too)
If you can't post images here on xda, just upload to an external site like imgur and send your pic link here ..
Per my best knowledge, smart switch doesnot support emergency recovery anymore (but if it still supports in some old versions or it works - then please do try that too) .. Good luck

My firmware was Nougat 7.0 . S7 EDGE SM-G935FD
I will try to put the images on the site you mentioned and give the link here
i didnt try the smart switch as i was afraid it might automatically format it and put the latest firmware , i hope the emmc ship is still recoverable as thats my only hope if firmware flashing doesnt help

that sucks man
what about the emmc chip , would it be possible to do a chip off recovery?
what i dont understand is that if its a hardware issue then why does it even turn on and allow me to go to the recovery mode

What was the last firmware present on your phone. Hardware damage is always tricky.. sometimes it allows phone to boot with weird things going on before completely failing..
I can see that your bootloader number is 2 , i will give you the combination rom, try flashing that in odin
Be warned that all your data in your phone is already lost, at this point your only goal is to make your phone working again, thats where i am helping..
Combination u2 rom : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JKDiV3LmqUt8GLlOLnmZ6Xsqxn-Hpv9d/view?usp=drivesdk
Flash it in odin 3.14.4 and untick auto reboot in odin options, if flashing is successful .. ur phone will still be in download mode.. hold vol down + home + pwr button to force reboot and when phone starts rebooting( screen goes black ) immediately change holding from vol down to vol up+ home + pwr buttons , trick here is to force reboot to recovery directly from download mode without booting combination rom, do a factory data wipe in combination recovery.. then clear cache and then try reboot to combination rom..
If you could boot into combination rom, run some hardware tests.. and report back, if everything goes good, we can try flashing the last stock firmware that was present on your device, Good luck

I honestly dont remember the exact firmware details, all i know is that it was Nougat 7.0 and an update was available for a long time but i didnt update as i had no space (like only 800 or 900mb was left)
I see, so the data is lost.
Soo this combination U2 rom , it will replace the rom which was previously installed?
Sorry i am just trying to learn more about this combination U2 rom as i have never read about it
Thanks

It will just help to unbrick your device (provided that it gets flashed successfully in odin first)
Just follow my steps in above post after (if) odin could flash successfully.

You tried flashing already..
Flashing anything has the risk to lose all your data if you have no backup before ..
And flashing with HOME CSC doesn't erases data..
But as you said you tried flashing various stock firmwares, but odin failed in the middle..
So yeah, i think your data is already lost
But if it was that important , i seen some android programs which can recover deleted files from phone but they are mostly paid and also phone should be in working condition..
Also there are professional data recovery companies who would take in your phone and pull its memory chip apart and use their special hardware on that chip to extract anything they could.. but there is no guarantee that you will get back any important data from it and their cost is huge for this process..
Thats why its recommended to always keep a back up of all your data

yes i tried flashing the stock but that recovery.img error occurs.
i have always read people say that you lose data after flashing a stock rom which isnt true as i recently flashed Note 3 Neo SM N7502 and Note 3 SM-N9005
both with stock rom and all the data, apps and contacts were intact.
i only used the AP files on both and nothing else
but i have never flashed a combination rom so was curious if the data is erased if that is flashed.
Yes, i have seen several apps like wondershare/dr fone which can recover the data but the problem is they either require root or say if unrooted the USB debugging has to be on , in my case i never rooted nor turned on the USB debugging mode as i never needed it.
i live in dubai , currently i am searching for someone who can professional pull out all the data from the chip but due to the coronavirus lockdown all shops are shut and even online technician arent active.
Yes its better to always backup the data, it happened so suddenly as i mentioned in my first post it automatically went blank when i plugged in my usb
anyhow i will try to flash the combination rom and let you know
Thanks

You cannot compare a note 3 with s7 series generation lol
And yes , flashing a stock rom wipes all data if you DON'T choose HOME _ CSC in csc box..
Flashing with home_csc won't cause data loss but its akin to a dirty flash .. causes problems and is there for upgrading android os without data loss, and its not generally a good thing to NOT wipe data and factory reset after flashing as it causes problems..
IF YOU INTEND TO DO A PROFESSIONAL RECOVERY OF YOUR DATA DON'T FLASH ANYTHING ANYMORE AS IT WILL FURTHER MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO RETRIEVE !
WARNING : combination rom would wipe all your data, so be warned if you flash it, it would be even more difficult to recover data ..
