I have made a titanium backup zip of the file. Unfortunately all attempts at saving th file a an apk failed. But I was able to make a TB of it. Here is the download link.

sweet
Thanks mate, that worked, i installed the apk fine and its working sweet, thanks to you. Seems the market is giving out a false response to loads of phones saying they are incompatable. Strange but mines workiing so good times

Yeah I was getting the same false compatible. I would download it and as soon as it was installed on the android market website it would say incompatible. But whatever, guess this is only for the US users dont know why that it but wanted to share it. If you use it please post your opinion on it. Again I have not used it but am considering doing so now that I have it installed.

I've used it,its okay with a bit more work it'll be good, iris I think looks better graphically. My only hope for cluzee is the ability to Change voice etc

How do I install it from the zip file? Rom Manager aborted the install.

Unpack the zip and unpack it again on the Apk file name, then install, probably better on pc then transfer over

Its a 3 file zip. Uncompress with root explorer, and move the files to your titanium backup folder and restore with titanium backup. Then you should he good

Keyboard on froyo test rom

Has anyone been able or tried to install the HTC_ime keyboard onvy froyo add get it to work ? When I installed it I got a force close loop.

Only the 1.5 version of the HTC_IME keyboard works with the 2.2 ROM. Unfortunately, the voice input does not work since it is only the 1.5 version. This is the version that works.

There are two .apk to install and both are in the zip file... with the time spent posting that question you could have just opened it and found out what was inside
I use ShapeWriter and it works perfectly.

@derekwilkinson - i dont think it was necessary for you to get smart all i did was ask a simple question b/c i didnt know. being the smart ass you seem to be you should have realized i didnt know i was supposed to unzip it until i realized the flash failed and said it wasnt working !
Use a file explorer like Astro to open the .zip. You should get an option to open with app manager (or something along those lines ha ha) and you should be able to install.

pushing necessary lib files will enable farther versions of the IME keyboard to work, you still dont get voice recognition to work but the keyboard is there.

Droid X wont download zip files?

Is there any way to get rid of this restriction with the zip files and other files as well.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Hi,
I don't know of a native method of removing that restriction, but the free app Byte Tornado downloader integrates with the browser and allows almost any file to download directly to the phone.
I hope that helps.

Down Droid on market. Just a download manager. Nothing else.
Awesome thanks I used byte tornado

download Astro from the market or appbrain then you can download zip files and extract the apk files from the zip. It's also a great utility app to manage files and backup applications.
I use opera browser to download files. It how's never given me any problems.

Sadly the stock browser restricts a lot of downloads: .zips (and many .apk's if not all).
Probably there to "protect" itself.
But any third party web browser
(Dolphin HD or Opera) can do those kinds of files.
That is if you don't wish to use a download manager app.
Hope this helped someone!

Facebook for htc.sense

Anyone know where i can find facebook for htc sense, com.htc.socialnetwork.facebook apk that will work on my htc desire hd. Ive downloade one socialnetwork pack but i didnt work, found it on the forums here. If anyone can help me with that it would be super
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Need htcfacebook file in system/app folder cause when i rooted my phone i didnt think that it would be such a big deal deleting that file but it was.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Always use Titanium Backup and freeze apps first, to make sure removing them wont cause problems
You should be able to find what you are looking for in any of the Sense ROMs over in the developers thread.
Transfer them from the zip to your sd card, sign them (zip signer, available on the market) and install as you would any other apk.

The Market might be named "Play Store" or "Play Shop" FYI
You have to download gapps and flash it in your device.

He said he's running Froyo, I'm assuming stock
Try to download GAPPS via your phones browser and install it. Had the same problem and it worked.

Like I said, he's running stock, therefore no recovery
Just sideload an apk (download it from the internet) and install it, should work
