Newbie Question. Have downloaded this file in RAR form, extracted it and now dont know what to do with it. It has no .cab extension and i cant seem to install it in WM5.0. Im trying to get my gps to talk to tom tom 5 with no luck.

try extracting it to the windows directory on you device, then soft reset and check for the bluetooth settings applet.

Copy it to your device. Open file explorer on your device and click on the cab file, and the istallation of the content of the cab file will start!
have tried that but when extracted there is no file with a .cab extension. Ive used file explorer and click on one of the 5 files and just get an error message.
Do not extract anything. Just copy the cab file you posted as is on to your device.
This is an installation file and is not meant to be extracted.

I just got my wing today. i've been trying to overclock it for over an hour. =/. i dled BatteryStatus.0.04 from some dude on the forum. I don't know what to do after.... i extracted to batterystatus.. draged the folder inside the mobile. my phone just won't recognize it.. Please don't flame... i know i'm not the smartest. Please i need help. someone? i want my wing to run smoother >_<. i don't know how to install it in my phone =/ someone please?

use file explorer and click on it.
When you downloaded the file it is most likely a cab file but might show up as a zip file. Check the file name and if it ends in .cab the just copy that file to your phone. Then go under you file explorer and click on it to install it. Then have fun with the new program.

If it is a CAB file, copy it to your device, open File Explorer (on Diamond) and open the file just copied. Then soft reset and you can use new keyboards.
If you want detailed instructions tell what the name of file is.

if its just a .cab file im able to install but if its a jar file or a zip file with more than one file then how do i install it from my comp.

edit: actually im not able to install .cab file either.
First assume you have your mobile connected to PC via activesync.
Transfer cab file to your phone through file explorer. In file explorer of your phone under "my documents" you find cab file. Double tab on it and file opens. Say "yes" when asked if you want to install program.
A winzip file you have to unzip and after that there is another cab file or a file you have to open from your PC. In many cases there is a readme file included.
A jar file you can open with program winrar or pocketrar. Than propably you find a readme file aswell with more instructions.
