i have searched @ google but i found notting..

cheers,
Have u tryed using unrevoked again n updateing with Rom manager
Do u have another SD card
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
i cant use unrevoked and rom menager because my wf doesnt load os.. i was tryin to put update.zip and load it from sd card but it says "cant open E:/sdcard/update.zip (bad) installation aborted.", ive load even file as pc49img.zip, in bootloader it says it's parsing and it looks like everything is ok but still have no updatec cmw ;/.
and no i do not have another sd card ;/
Surely borrowing an SD card from some of your close ones shouldnt be an issue? Anyway, did you try using an RUU to get back to the default state?
i;ve tried to use ruu, it only sees my phone while the htc logo but it says it's not enough charged.. i think ill try to wait until green led comes up and try it again ;/

Sounds like you might have partitioned your card, and now are looking at two different partitions, one from windows, one from recovery. You could try repartitioning it from recovery, to make sure that you only have one FAT partition and one EXT and that they are in the correct order.
Mine has its FAT partition on p1, and ext2 on p2.
hey mate,
could you guide me how to do it? in recovery i have;
unmount system
unmount data
unmount cache
mount sd-card
when i click on mound sd-ext it says "ERROR MOUNTING SDEXT:!"
;/
i took off the sd card and formatted it then i mount it into the device and tried to choose zip file but it was unmounted in options so it didnt show me any files, next i've mounted sd card and left sd-ext unmounted and againt its the same, it shows me the old files which dont even exist anymore, i guess it maybe something with partitionin, but how to do it? could you guide me how to make one fat and one ext ? like u have? thx in advance
I partitioned mine from a linux PC with an SD card reader attached, but it should work from recovery as well.
From the Clockworkmod recovery menu, choose advanced and then partition sd card then choose the size you want for the ext partiton, then the size for the flash partition (if any). That should set them up correctly in the correct order.
Questions/Problems don't belong in the Development section <---please click link and read....moved to general...
i've wipped cache and during wippin it said that there is no sd-ext partiotion ; / it's something wrong with clockwork but i have no idea what.. it shows only the old files that i've loaded on sd before flashing with cm7 rc-2 ;/ the weird thing is that i remember that i updated cmw do newest 3.0.5... (something like that - the orange one) and it worked fine but next when i log into recovery it shows the older version oO
i successfuly manange to update cmw, i used adb in that purpouse and now everything works fine
Hi,
I really love your ROM, But unfortunately i am unable to install completely in my Google Nexus One mobile. I followed all your steps from
Steps 1 to 3 i ahev done in PC.
1.Downloading Kang-o-rama Zip file
2. Copying Kang-o-rama to root Nexus One phone's SD Card
3. Seted up Advanced Installer by creating the directories
<sdcard>\android\kangorama\
and in kangorama directory, I created a txt file with name install.cfg with apps2ext and bootanimation flags only.
I followed Steps 4 to 7 after inserting the SDcard in mobile.
4. Rebooted into Recovery
5. Did a Nandroid backup
6. Wiped Data, Cache and Dalvik-Cache
7. Installed the Kang-o-rama zip file from your SD Card
In Step 7 i am facing the problem, when i started installing, i got System Installation and kernel installation completed. after that i got "Application installing" and after 70% in progress... there is no further progress..
At this point the Mobile is static for more than 4 hours. Can you please help me out in successfull installation..Thanks in Advance
regards
Manickam
You don't have to use the advanced install. Just put the ROM on to your root of your SD and flash in recovery after full wipe.
just a few ideas...did you partition your sd card first? did you check the m5dsum of the file you downloaded?
i would also recommend posting this in the kangorama thread.
you can also look in /tmp/recovery.log to see where it got up to or if there were any errors.
if it got to the step "installing applications" or something similar then it may have completed but had trouble unmounting the sd-ext partition and froze.
if this is the case you can try rebooting and see if it has worked or try re-partitioniong using clockworkmod or any other recovery..
Hi,
I didn't see this tread (lucky actually that I ever saw it).
Since new users can't post in /dev even with replies you can PM me if you have these problems.
I suspect you're using ClockworkMod recovery? If so, try installing Amon_RA recovery, it has less problems:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611829
If this doesn't help or you're still struggling feel free to send me a PM.
No. So far i didt Partitioned my SD card. Whether i Need to partition?
Ya. I am using ClockworkMod recovery. So what i should do now to make the MOD work properly..
Currently I am having ClockworkMod recovery 3.0.0.5. Whether I have to change my recovery?
I have also tried by partitioning the SD-EXT to 512MB and swap to 64mb. Still I am facing the problem in same point of application installation.
Can any one guide me to resolve this issue.

Replied to your PM...
Was this problem solved, if so how?
Im having the exact same problem. Tried with a noapps Advanced Installer, but no luck.
Edit: Turns out, going to Amon_RA did solve the problem.
alrright guys, i dont know what happened and it happens first time in my 4 years with android but when i installed CWM my sd got locked when i tried to open it up (to flash zip custom rom) and since then it doesnt unlock. doesnt format, although i can see the files in it and copy from it, but not write. Any ideas?
fix permissions might help i think... try go to advanced and fix permissions...
fix permissions in cwm? where is this option?>
it didnt help. Apparently in cwm it displays the option to delete some files from the card but as soon as click delete it freezes. Whats the hell, plz help
Mount the card on pc with an adapter, backup your files/folders, and then open windows partition manager, delete and recreate the fat32 partition.
Guys, all of a sudden CWM can't mount the sdcard. I wiped the data in order to install Vanir's ROM. I was previously on Rayglobe's. Is there anyway to come outta this? I'm desperate guys, please help me. I don't want this costly phone to become a brick! It's D802 BTW.

Sorry, correct me if my knowledge was wrong - but how u want to mount a SD-Card when the phone has no slot for it?
Hi,
Yes, you can't mount sdcard in recovery with phones without sdcard (the recovery can't mount the link to the internal memory, even if it's called sdcard), if you have an USB OTG cable you can mount your external sdcard and make backup or put into it some flashable zip's...
If you wiped data, why you want to mount your sdcard , you have your rom in the internal memory so just flash it...

Internal storage is named "sdcard", even though that doesn't make any sense. I've Nexus 4 and it shows the same thing too.

I used to flash other ROMs through "sdcard" from CWM menu before, it was working perfectly until now. There's also "external_sdcard" sub-menu too.

Hum... No need to mount your sdcard to flash your rom... Like I said external sdcard is if you use an USB OTG cable, it's the link for your external USB storage.
In CWM navigate to the sdcard then where you put your rom, simple...
But if you wiped your sdcard in recovery, it will be harder for sure...
Or I don't understand what you mean
So I flashed TWRP D802 ver. from Flashify, but now I can't even do a factory reset as it says that it cannot mount /data. Now I can't wipe nor can I install a zip from TWRP. Please help me.
Just flash stock. Go to general section. "Go back to stock"
Hi Xda members,
I'am running TWRP 2.8.3.0 everything seems to work fine except with my Micro sd.
I got acces problem to my external SD card, it look permission problems,
When i try to reformat the sd card i get this error:
E: Unable to Unmount '/external_sd'
E: Error changing file system
When i try to make a backup this one:
E: Unable to create folder: /external_sd/TWRP (errno=30)
E: Failed to make Backup folder.
In install i'am able to access to external_sd and view the files inside.
Here is my config:
S4 GT-I9505
Android 4.4.2
ROM: stock rom I9505ZHUFNL1
Rooted with CF autoroot
Recovery: TWRP 2.8.3.0
I tried the fix permission button in TWRP but it didnt worked.
I also tried to install Extsdcardfix-flashable.zip from this thread: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2607215
Did some factory reset, reinstalling everything and this didnt worked.
Reformating the External sd via stock rom work.
I've been looking around the web trying to find some solutions but nothing do so far and i run out of ideas.
So if anyone have some ways to fix it i'll really enjoy it.
Thanks for your time,
Ankhaz

Thanks for your answer,
I tried with Philz touch recovery 6.23.9 - I9505 (cm_jflte)
When trying to backup to SD1 i get:
"Error while backing up boot image! "
When trying to format SD1 i get:
Could not format /storage/sdcard1
When i try to install Zip from SD1 i'am able to acces the card and view what's inside.
So exactly the same result than before with TWRP
So the problem still, i think its a permission problem but might be wrong.
Update:
I did buy a new micro sd too try.
Problem still exactly the same, so its not SD card hardware related problem.
If someone got the same problem or any clue. I'll really apreciate it!
Thanks!
