2.1 for Sprint Hero

Alright, let's lay this to rest. 2.1 will not be out until May. Sprint started training on 2.1 on 04/19/10 and it runs 3 weeks. So we wont see it until mid to late May. Any one who has 2.1 in their phone, it's either a custom ROM or the 2.1 leak thats floating around.

I too agree with this..
Hard brick can be resolved many have resolved via Samsung Service centre..Just fake up a story n get in.

Ain't they too strict there?
Here in India one fake story+ innocent face + original bill does the job..
Also warranty is for free repair.(unless its a serious hardware damage)
You can still get it done without warranty just have to pay service charge..try a different service center

Of course, as we all expect, but still, its a HUGE step on the Galaxy S development. I bet that in a couple of weeks it will be good enough to use it for longs periods of time. Can't wait till that!

Lool! xD The wait is the worst part. How are you going to install it? Just flashing it with CWM Recovery? Or you need to do other stuff (like changing the bootloader or something)?

All of them are working fine, only on center, clock and date are not right on center, so i will pull out link. Which one didnt worked for you?

And you are wondering why it is not working for you.. Try this, first flash my mod, reboot, than flash your mods. It should work that way.
EDIT: ofcourse, on freshly installed ROM.

I'm sure you will see a couple more updates which are still 4.1.2. For instance, there should be an MR2 update coming soon enough if I've understood Samsung's update system right. Vodafone Germany got MR2 a few days ago and today England got MB1 (which has been around for some time in China/Taiwan).

I guess the forum has an overall fondness of blonde's.
