No screen after firmware flash with odin - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

hey,
i've updatet my note with odin 1.85 and the firmware "N7000XXKK9_N7000OXAKK9_N7000XXKK5_HOME.tar.md5".
My problem is that my note has no screen any more. I hear the sound im able to unlock my screen (without seeing it) but there are only the sounds of my note. I've flashed a second time (not easy to get to the note to the download mode without seeing anything.
So what can I do now?
My note was rooted first also by using odin and the CF-Root-SGN_XX_DBT_KK9-v5.0-CWM5.zip
have you any idea what I could try now?
greetings flo

From your description, you did everything right. But you may get a corrupted file. Download the same file again from the below source. (You will lose your root access, but I'm sure you won't mind re-root it later).
Here are the steps I did to make my Galaxy Note GT-N7000 work after a scary day:
I found a place to download firmware at:http://fus.nanzen.se/
just in case you can't see the link: h**p://fus(dot)nanzen(dot)se/
(from Hoffighter's posting) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1350960
I downloaded Fus Check Downloader 2.1 and downloaded Firmware N7000XXKK9 (for Germany). It will automatically decode the .enc2 file to.zip file
I extracted the .zip file generated from decoding file to a folder and I got
"N7000XXKK9_N7000OXAKK9_N7000XXKK5_HOME.tar.md 5" file.
I downloaded Odin3 1.85 (search "odin3 1.85" in XDA Dev forum)
opened Odin3 1.85, attach the file .md5 to the PDA field on Odin.
I went to download mode on mt G-Note (Power + home + Volume down)
and click start. It took about 6 to 7 minutes to do the flashing.
Just remember to put the .tar or .md5 file in PDA only..

my display is back

Thanks for your post I tried it 3 times but it won't work. The screen was still black.
now what I did:
I downloaded the files from here: http://www.samsdroid.com/2011/11/samsung-galaxy-note-n7000-flashing.html
I did it like they subscribe step by step
** Open Odin3 v1.85 software
** Check Re-Partition, Auto Reboot, and F. Reset Time options.
** Check and select .pit file ( looks like Q1_20110914_16GB.pit )
** Check and select PDA file ( Looks like CODE_N7000xxxxx_CL627135_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 )
** Check and select Phone file ( Looks like MODEM_N7000xxxxx_REV_05_CL1067428.tar.md5 )
** Check and select CSC file ( looks like GT-N7000-MULTI-CSC-Oxxxxx.tar.md5 )
after the first reboot my display shows an error by receiving the tar files.
I did the same procedure a second time and my sgn retourned with Kernel 2.3.5.
Im happy now that my sgn is back!
thanks a lot

Kies problem after custom rom, Solved.

After some problems to get Kies to recognize my SGT7 rom after custom rom tour i solved it like this.
Get the software CheckFusDownloader v2.1
Download at fus.nanzen.se
Open and choose: android, GT-P1000 and your region.
Then press firmware check and download.
You'll get a zip file, unpack the .zip and put the .tar file in a easy to remember place.
Flash the Restock Package from TeamOvercome (use odin v1.7 supplied in the .zip)
Download at teamovercome.net/
(Use Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time)
Then do factory reset/wipe in recovery mode. (Power + Volume up at boot)
Then flash the .tar file you downloaded with CheckFusDownloader v2.1
NO re-partition, just klick PDA and choose the downloaded .tar file, and flash.
Then again factory reset/wipe.
Then flash the Restock Package again with and factory reset/wipe at boot
After that Kies recognise my SGT7 as original Samsung rom.
Can somebody tell me if there is a easier way?
I hex edited /efs/nv_data.bin, and flashed a Froyo ROM which included the CSC with the right country code. Kies recognised my Tab straight away and updated it to GB 2.3.6 successfully. See my more detailed post in the other thread (help me i have only 2 weeks left on my garanti!).
I'm not sure it's an easier way though.

[9001] [9000] Found a perfect Guide To Flash ROMs !

Here is a complete guide to Flash ROMs -
Download ODIN Multidownloader 4.43. Link: Download
After it has downloaded, extract it anywhere u want (i suggest desktop, easier)
RUN ODIN.
Power off your phone.
Put your phone into downloading mode. Hold together: Power+Volume Down+Home (phone boots to Downloading mode)
Connect your phone to PC via USB cable.
Wait for the drivers to install. After that, in ODIN, one of the top line “bars” should turn yellow and some text should appear there.
Download the AriesVE.ops file and check it as OPS. Link to download (attached, scroll down the first post, credits goes to manveru0): Download From XDA Developers
Then check the ‘one package’ from the top left
The ROM you’ve downloaded, check it as one package. If it’s MD5 file. Then click flash.
Flashing will take about 9 minutes.
When you see “Close serial port and wait until rebooting” in odin, you can unplug your phone.
Enjoy!
— If the flashing doesn’t complete. Or you face some other problems, just try another USB port, or computer if possible.

What do you think ?
meh.
It's by no means complete at all.
I don't think the galaxy s plus is the same as the i9000.
This reads like upgrading firmware because its ODIN. Custom ROMS require root and a recovery module.
What is an ops file? Your links are for downloads and don't point to the original context or user's post.
.ops file contains informations about partitions for Odin (probably for prevent flashing to wrong partition).

Flash with samsung software
First of all you do not need do unzip the file you have downloaded.
Get Samsung Kies at this address, then put your phone into download mode and connect. And follow the screen.
samsung.com/us/kies
Note to enter into download mode:
- Put the phone OFF
- Hold Power+Volume_Down+Home together
- Connect USB Cable
On the other hand you can find the tutorial about the software named ODIN. That could also help. Do this only if you don't have any other way.

Thanks for this TUT! But is this the Original Firmware from Samsung? Would it work on our local version of i9100 (Philippines) or just for international version?

Appreciate the help:silly:
Wrote this previously for another post, but once you flash the .tar file, you'd be pretty much as stock as stock can be:
-------------------------------
I used Odin v3.09
Downloaded the .zip file in az_biker's post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2543386
Extracted the .zip file to get the .tar file
Opened Odin.
Click the AP button.
Browsed to folder containing .tar file and clicked Start.
Sit back and let it do it's thing.
When it's done, you've updated your phone to JE
