did you hit the menu button on that screen you're showing and uncheck "restrict mobile data"?

On kwiboo's V2 rom data usage seems to be working well!
You should ask in the thread of the ROM you're using, as this isn't a general Nexus S problem.
Okyie may be I'll ask in that thread?

probably it is a bug
because thoes ICS ROM is not fully functioning yet i think
Same problem
On O2x right here..

Solved (for me)
I went back to an earlier rom where I could switch the limit off and now i got rid of the message
You can just raise the data limit on the graph as well if you like the other ROM you were on...that's what I did

Its a 2.2 sms popup. I only have handcent and stock sms installed. Theres nowhere in the menu to disable it. I ask around about this and noone knows what I'm taking about. It shows up on every rom I install. Has anyone seen this and how do I disable it? Someone? anyone?

I have contacts blast, but I aquired it not too long ago. This anomaly had made its appearance as soon as I rooted and flashed my first 2.2 rom back in august. Contacts blast was purchased a month and a half later.

Today I found an update .. it's in Russian (I'm not) and it seems to be update to email app. It can be downloaded and installed, based on comments (I did not do it). Looks like malware .. any ideas how is that possible ?
It says MTC mobile mail (but in russian) by OJSC Mobile Telesystems.
Got the same thing too on my play market, I felt that there is something fishy with it, so I didn't update till I figure out what exactly it do.

Forgot to mention that I'm on stock rom, didn't root or install any custom roms, yet.
I'd advise everyone not to update and report the app to Google so they remove it from the app store.

got that update today. I haven't updated it because I never installed the app in the first place.. Weird!

I've seen that. I have also "testfile" app installed on my SGS2. I did not install that. Cannot uninstall, only "open" option available. Any ideas what that is?

Hi guys,
So i was one of the people that got screwed by google on launch day. I had already sold my galaxy nexus and need a phone for work etc.
I went into my local o2 store and tried an orange sim card in one of their phones and it works.
On the box it says o2 UK on the label.
Can someone that got a device from google play store post their about phone so i can compare the details.
I presume this is unlocked with it letting me put an orange sim in it with no problems but just wanna check for all the future updates to make sure i dont get screwed in some way.
As soon as i turned the device on i got the system update that gives the fugly clock and 2 finger pull down on the notification.
Cheers.

My guess is that they are setting Wi-Fi to scan less often for available networks. Devs have been making that tweak fire a long time.

Yes
Are you sure? I googled this and so far the conclusion seems to point that it disable Wi-Fi connection and only wake up periodically. This breaks apps that requires constant data connection, like Google voice.
Please find attached screenshots, is this normal?

It's from the Facebook app. When not using it you need to go into application settings and force stop it.

Or Greenify-Hibernate it. But then you won't receive Notifications. Your pick.
Or even better, uninstall that crap of an app.
The mobile web version is almost the same.
Using Greenify but still CPU usage high... Dont understand why it stays at 51MHz only... I assume it would be better if it does whatever it is doing at high frequency so it takes less time!

A bicycle and a sports car wait at a stoplight at the same speed. So it is for a CPU waiting on network I/O.
But what are the processes that are running for so long!

Again, any idea which app uses the Download Manager process?
