Hi. i have problem with message.
now i don't remember which rom i have flashed...some kind of MIUI 1.9.2
Anyway
When i send a message the signal go away and then return to normal (no problem here, the message is sent correctly)
when i receive a message the signal go away too, then return. the problem is that: the message isn't shown in the notification bar/message counter, don't vibrate or ring but if i enter in the message app i find the message.
How i can solve without flash another rom?
or better: without losing any data

Hello, I had received this phone soft-modded, rom flashed, and overall, unlocked. I was able to send MMS messages and send, but as of recent, due to a soft reset, I only get: warning unable to receive message your message notification will remain in your inbox.

some rom i flashed yesterday broke up my sms message center,had to manually insert the number and now its just fine

Please help me!!! I cannot send the SMS on my GS2, but I can receive SMS. I read from the screen:" Message not sent, Revie message and try again"
I asked three, which is my operator. But the technician is not very helpful. He tried to tell me to restart the phone, get out the sim card and put it back in the phone and restart, it wouldn't work. And I also tried to setup the configurations in Messaging----Settings----Text message (SMS) settings-----Message Centre. However, this option is grey and I cannot change.
I went to google and found some people was talking about the SMSC. Before this problem happened, I did try *#*#4636#*#*-----Phone information several times, and maybe accidentally changed the SMSC, so I tried to put +447782000800 (three service centre number) in but every time it is "update error". Can anybody here help me out?? Thank you very much!

I did it 100 times , diffirent roms ... didnt help ..
I had the exact same problem and tried flashing several different ROMs on the phone, but it turns out the problem was that the message center number got deleted for some reason. On my phone the option wasn't grayed out and I was able to change it to the correct setting, which fixed my SMS-sending issue. Is your phone rooted?

OP you need a service centre .
Just a thought man who install multiple roms often lose EFS . Does your phone report its correct IMEI number .

Hey guys i need some help. I'm having a problem with my SGY. I cannot receive calls and text messages but I can send. When I go to Call settings>Call forwarding, it says "NETWORK OR SIM CARD ERROR". But when I restart my phone, I received the messages I wasn't able to receive. This always work when I restart my Phone. But, I cannot restart my phone 5 times a day so I searched google and then I found an answer which is upgrading the firmware/software using Samsung Kies. But the problem is Samsung Kies can't detect my SGY. It just says "Connecting.." but it won't connect even after 30 mins! How can I fix my SGY so I won't get the "Network or Sim Card Error" and receive calls and messages like before?

clean your sim card, change your rom, restart the phone, if wont work, try with other sim card, if still wont work its your phone

Realxx!!!!!!!!!...........i had the same problem all you have to do is use the CWR spp to fix permissions and reboot

If none of the above tips work.. then flash a sweetable package for your region via odin... u can find odin flashable bundles in the general section.... And then try to reconnect with kies.... Hope it will work....

I got a problem with my N910C. I can't send and receive SMS. It is working only short time after I turn on phone (for example one hour, sometimes it's working longer) and after some time my problem appears. I noticed problem on WanamLite 3.2 firmware and I have that issue on Sixperience v6.0 ROM. But I think that linked with my ROM, because when I started using custom ROMs I didn't have that issue. I'm using U1COJ5 modem. I tried to replace my SIM card for new one and I still got this problem.
Any ideas?
Can't send means, that SMS are sending till I got an error, can't receive means that after somebody send me a text I get that message after I will restart my phone.
