Hi, i have been a windows mobile user for the last 6 years...There's an app for windows mobile called Voice2go. You can customize any voice for apps or contacts. You can let the app runs in the back ground too so when you need to dial a contact you just say the magic word. For instance I modify the command to activate it by saying a modified word like "dude" and just say the name in the contact which you have tagged your voice to it. "dude" "tea bag"... Then the app execute it by calling "tea bag"
Too bad android don't have this kind of app. It's very useful for me since English is not my language (android voice recognition is not very friendly to me)
Reacently i've notice that there's an app for android which used the same method but I haven't used it (it's not a free app) called CYBERON VOICE SPEED DIALER. Does any one have the info where I can get such app which is free? I don't like credit card... That's the reason I won't buy CYBERON VOICE SPEED DIALER... Any suggestions?

Does anybody know how to extract the excelent Cyberon Voice dialer that comes in JARJAr ROM ?I´ve emailed cyberon.com.tw and they told me that is exclusively distibuted in JASJAR ROM.
It works fabulous, and i will give a try to put it im my QTEK S100.
Thanks
Fernando
Just got my K-jam. All the guys are wiping the cyberon Voice off to replace it with the voice command. So I dont know how to give you cyberon, but what I can tell you is that Voice command is much better, thus everyone with cyberon is installing voice command.
Yes, but Microsoft Voice Comand 1.5 don´t work well with Portuguese Language. Cyberon voice Commander works very, very well also in the car or in noise ambience. I´ve already tested the 2 Softwares and Cyberon´s and despite we can make voice tags for contacts and programs, after that it works fabulous...
Thanks anyway.
I tried every voice dial program and here is what I feel about them:
Fonix 2: quite accurate. But very few functions and very slow.
Fonix 3: add a lot more functions. But even slower and hard to make it work correctly.
MS Voice Command: Fast respone and accurate even with noise. Lots of function and work very well w/ the PPC (since MS knows all the detail of the OS). But it doesn't work for me since my contact list is quite big. It doesn't allow me to filter the canadiate for voice dial making it hard to return me w/ the right contact. In addition, I wish it could provide optional voice tag function.
Cyberon VC 1.2 (anyone got the lastest English version?) : Very accurate but doesn't work very well w/ noise. But it still my choice for voice dial since it allows me to filter contacts and application for voice command.

For me, this is trim down version of Cyberon VC (VC without self recongnition). Unless I really tight at RAM space, I prefer VC since I don't have to build voice tag for every contact.
re
I've used MSVC and now I'm using the Cyberon Voice Dialer (from JJ)
Its true that MSVC occupies more RAM but it doesn't requires voice tag and its very accurate too.
CVD is also accurate, small footprint and requires voice tags which will takes up a lot of RAM space if you've a lot of them.
IMO, voice tags should be created for those frequent contacts/programs etc so thst you'll keep the menory footprint small. If you have say 2000 contacts would you want each and everyone to be voice tagged and do you think you can remember all of them?
So, Cyberon Voice Dialer is still the better one if you manage your voice tags properly.
re
Sorry, it read read '...frequently used contacts/programs....'
Where do i download Cyberon Voice Dialer ?? Please help me, i need a program where i can make vocietags.

Please read the link above.
I've been fighting with the X1 for over 3 roms and searching the net and xda for some hours without any solution to this.
Simple as that, I want to launch a voice dialing software, (or any other application) excluding Voice Commander, from my bluetooth button, which will take input (voice) from the bluetooth microphone and not from the main unit.
Am I asking too much? This thing can happen quite easily to phones that are decades old. Voice commander is pointless and utter crap for non supported languages. I've found various recording apps for that purpose but I haven't managed to launch them using the bluetooth button. If I am to use the main unit, voice dialing misses its purpose.
So any hints or advice where to head to? I've seen many registry keys and bluetooth audio gateway dlls but none could actually execute a custom application instead of the damn Voice Commander.
Thanks.
For me, Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 works perfectly, but I guess you're saying that it's not available in Greek?

Not only that but some people prefer prerecorded voice recognition than Voice Command. In any case it should be possible to launch any application you want with the bluetooth button voice dialing or not, the question is how.

The site once was a paradise of music but it's been down for some time. Removed the link until it is back up again.
So people anyone? I wouldn't have imagined that XPERIA can't record callers voice nor a configurable way of voice dialing with bluetooth. These things are for granted in other platforms...
I mean not just voice tags you can record by yourself. But a Nokia style voice dialing: when you train a phone by spelling some control contacts and a phone learns your voice.
This feature was in my Nokia E60 4-5 years ago. I can't understand why it's not in a modern y2008 phone?
You mean like Microsoft Voice Command?
Astonishingly, using either XDA's built-in search engine or the Google alternative, and the string "microsoft voice recognition" (which isn't even it's proper name, see Psygnosis' post above) and I get dozens, nay hundreds of hits. Even more amazingly, within the 1st few hits, I got the following link!

Heh... thanks
I know its not out yet, but when it is could someone tell me if it has this for use with bluetooth headset as I have a N95 8GB and its the best bit of the phone, recognises any clearly spoken name without programing your voice.
Cheers in advance.
Microsoft Voice Command has done that for years, and more.
Thanks for the reply, as I'm still knocking stones together as I have not had a touch phone I wasn't sure of this feature. But sounds promising. Cheers.
Voice Command in WM...
Just got a Touch 2 on T-Mobile (UK)... no sign of any voice input anywhere (not even learnt Voice Tags as on old smartphones). No mention in the PDF manual either - could this be something T-Mobile has removed? (Also no Twitter client, or Youtube - both present in HTC version I think)...

possibly yes. Carriers typically screw up a good thing. Ultimately hurting the HTC brand in my opinion. HTC has launched a new ad campaign which is supposed to strengthen their brand. Let's wish them good luck as they are hands down the best mind behind the devices, not the carriers

Microsoft Voice Command is a separate program - not part of the operating system. You will need to download it. And probably pay for it.

I'm a biker and the problem is to command the phone by the bluetooth headset cenral buton. I had tried with Voice2go but it' seem's impossible to command the HD2 from the HeadSet.
Did you make the test with MSVoice Command or another soft ?
Thank you
I cannot find it for the life of me and searching brings no results either. I use voice dialling in conjunction with a blue tooth hands free in the car so it's pretty important to me.
Assuming that it is simply missing from the cooked ROM does anyone have the relevant .cab?
TIA

57 views, no suggestions..?
Search software/apps & themes forum for MSVC, i.e. MicroSoft Voice Command
Close, but no cigar, I'm not interested in running programmes by voice, I just want to say a name to the Bluetooth in the car and it dials like it used to. However, MSVC eventually is mentioned in the same sentence as CVSD which is the missing element.
It's pain to find Cybertron Voice Speed Dial, which as far as I was concerned, was part of Mobile Windows in the first place!
You can download the relevant cab file here:

BTW. Where the hell are all the buttons gone for posting..?
