To view & extract .nb0 content, please help......

hi all, i have a .nb0 file which extracted from a wm5 ppc phone ( cant remember the model), and i need some help here to view this nb0 and extract some cab file from there.
This .nb0 consist a lot useful softwares, for example, soundcover (background sound during conversation), answering machine, conversation recorder and it works flawlessly on wm5 ppc phone.
Any expert??? please help.
**ok, I found the phone model, its GIGA, this is the nb0 file, latest update from thier website http://www.higiga.com/HigigaFrontStage/event/download/update/V1.12.80.zip
Hi,
Congratulations on extracting an .nb0 file. There are many methods to do so, depending on the device. Out of curiosity, which method did you use? Assuming that you correctly extracted the .nbo file of the CE image, you can treat it the same as an .nb or .bin file. use "viewimgfs *.nb0". the * of course meaning the name of your nb0 file like MSFLSH50_2.nb0, or what ever. This will give you all the files and what not. You can then use the DSMtool by bepe. This will organize all the files into packages. Then you can use cabwiz or some other program to create a cab installer. Good posts to follow are mamiach, bepe, buzzlightyear, and others, if you didn't already know. The dsmtool is found in bepe's WM5 kitchen. the viewimgfs and other imgfs tools were created by mamiach.

Jason

contribution needed : please send NK.exe from a WM6.1

Hi,
I have a weird crash only on WM 6.1 only and I would need NK.exe from a WM 6.1 device.
So if you are good at manipulating ROM, decompress it, ...
Could you please send me the file.
Actually I was able to uncompress a ROM for kaiser with NBHextract and ImgfsTools but I don't know how to uncompress XIP file to get NK.exe.
So if you could help me or send me the file ...
Thanks

WinCE 6.0, CF 2.0: File.Copy throws UnauthorizedAccessException

Hey everybody,
I have the following problem: there is a device working Windows CE 6.0 and having Compact Framework 2.0 installed.
There is a file on the flash disk in this device and I need to make a copy of this file with other name.
When I'm calling File.Copy(oldName, newName, true) it throws UnauthorizedAccessException if the file with new name already exists.
What does it mean ? At that time this file can be successfully deleted by File.Delete(newName).
Everything works good under CE 5.0.
Thanks,
Alexey
One detail: the existing file has HIDDEN attribute.
The same happens when I'm using Win32 API. CopyFile(oldName, newName, FALSE) fails and GetLastError() returns 5 - access is denied.
I have an experimental device, so is it a new feature of Win CE 6.0 or it is a device's bug ?
Thanks,
Alexey

Hipstreet W7 Bios Dump help!

Hey Guys!
I'd like to ask if anyone has a hipstreet w7 HS-7DTB34-16GB, could they be kind enough to dump a working copy of their bios please?
My bios is broken (by my doing, I've disabled OTG settings) and I need someone who has default settings to send me a copy of their bios so I can recover OTG capabilities (and with that the ability to even navigate my own bios)
The steps are simple, and can be done from within windows without any risk to you
Run Hipstreet W7 and log on to Windows
Download the Bios Dump tool from link: micropc.pl/afuwin32.zip
Extract that archive on tablet (Right mouse button on file, and extract)
Go to extracted folder afuwin32
Run afuwingui.exe
Please note info about bios version - Core Version, Project Version, Firmware ID, you can do print screen 7 Select save option
Save file (default name file to create will be afuwin.rom and that is OK, confirm that)
Please please please, can someone help me out?
Hello! You solve your problem? If you have bios please give link. Im have same problem. Thank you for reply
