[Q] Who can mod HTC IME for CM7?? - Wildfire General

I have found a newer HTC IME which with chinese input
Who can mod it for CM7?

There is already few versions out there, all you have to do is obtain newest apk and odex of HTC ime, and deodex it. Then install on cm7. With out the odex(hell HTC rip off apks to two parts to prevent copying).

Hi Alex,
But when i want deodexed the files the kitchen put out this message " no *.odex Files found" i think that is the problem why I can't cook the theme in. As base I have your rom.

Ok i read the first post again...and im sure the theme you have is deodexed...so its not the odex thing...im sure you The 1.6 rom its complete from build 2.14 And incompatible with this theme...try ms new 1.6.2 its based on 2.14 but framework and apk folder is from 2.10 and compatible with the theme

I assume he doesn't have the .odex files as they'll be deodexed already...I've tried cooking in framework mods and most leave you with a bootloop. No idea why, though

How to get some apps from Galaxy S on HTC Desire ?

Hi,
I had a Galaxy S, and then, change it for a HTC Desire.
I backup some application from the Galaxy S with root explorer (.apk and .odex), and i wanted to know how i could make them work on my new HTC Desire.
Are the .odex important ?
Thanks.
Apps from the galaxy will most prob need the samsung framework or atleast some .lib files before they will work
