After 4 months of upgrades, registry tweaks and software experiences to make a 550€ PDA/Phone to work in it´s basic phone functions i had enought!
F....ck Microsoft, i must new! The final drop was yesterday when i tried to advertise an event in my club by sms. I have send sms to 800 names on my phonebook, most of them where not delivered others were send 10!!!! times
to the same person... Come on!!! I´m not a guinea pig, are you? I have a phone who doesn´t take pictures, with a deplorable radio sound, who cleans now and then my memory card... I didn´t pay to develop it, i payed for a anounced state of the art phone!!! I´m buying a NOKIA.

Lamento que te sintas arrependido. Eu há anos que andava a tentar ter um telemovel assim e estou muito contente com ele ja tive ericsson nokia sendo tudo há base do mesmo, ou seja experiencias de pda e nada me agradou a nao ser um velhinho ericsson 3## qualquer coisa. Agora para trocar por um 9090 e andar com um calhamaço no bolso, só se eu fosse louco. Tinha um Ipaq 3870 e nunca andava com porque era grade demais e debaixo do casaco parecia que eu tinha um defeito sem despromor para alguém. Agora se é para andar na malinha talvez até procures o novo 4040 se ja está a ser comercializado pois é 3G. Mas para andar no bolso, não conheço melhor que o S100 ****´*

i'm new at this and i would like your help with upgrading my p3300.
i 've looked around in this forum but i still can't upgrade my artemis.
i've downloaded touch 4.02 with cube and Tom-Oops-Black-v1.0-WWE.
when i launch those apps they will not work. no connection, corrupt file. those are the things i get. the program is terminated.
what am i doing wrong.

i've Artemis_Touch_4.02_Full_with_4_sided_cube.
i've done the unlocking, the unlocking is step 1, then the rom.
it seems ok, but nothing happend, my device looks the same.
the rom runs untill the end and nothing happend.
do i have to reboot, (it happend automatic).
anyting else?

The rom goes until the end of step 2 or the step 1?
The step 1 is for CID unlock only.
You have to turn on your phone with active sync first.
After CID unlock (step 1) you won't see the difference except in your boot where it says "SPL". That version should be like this : "1.11.000".
After this you connect to active sync again and run step 2.

Desculpa este pedido de inf em portugues, mas estive a reler os posts todos de upgrades de Roms e tenha algumas duvidas e gostaria da opinião de um português
Tenho o HTC P3300 premium PT comprado na fnac no ano passado, e fiz o tal upgrade para WM6 oficial no site da HTC no ultimo ano. Até aqui tudo bem, no entanto, ando tentado a instalar uma ROM cozinhada dessas que andam aqui no forum, já com o Radio recente e montes de aplicações importantes e xpto, mas estou com receio em relação a esse processo, muito por culpa dos posts do ppl que tentou e não tem conseguido por causa de um prob do USPL durante esse processo ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311403 ).
Agora dá me a tua opinião, já que me pareces ser um portugues bem informado nestas lides
Achas que vale a pena o upgrade e as complicações são muitas vezes prob dos proprios users, ou é mesmo uma sorte conseguir fazer o upgrade sem problemas? E já agora qual a ROM cozinhada que aconselhas a colocar (nao tem de ser em PT pode ser ingles)?

Wich ROM did you flashed?
Touch flo is for scroling up and down in pages for example.
What you want is Cube.

As far as I know there is YET no kitkat (PT-pt) update for this tablet.
I'm in the same situation.
Probably when the warranty voids (2 years from now) we'll have an Update.
Portuguese way FTW.

Yes, look here and search the Forums there are articles about it (sorry I don't really have any link ;P ).
Anyway if you're NOT in the EU lookout not to trip the Knox Flag tripping this flag will VOID your warranty outside of the European Union. If you're in Portugal no need to worry.

Mas qual é a version da tua note ?
A mine é 605 (lte) da MEO e já instalei (algumas 5 vezes) a 4.4.2 e volto sempre à 4.3 original simplesmente por causa da aplicação Meo Go que não funciona no kitkat, qualquer uma das versions kitkat que estão por aí funcionam lindamente em PT.
Já agora porque é que não há problema se alteramos o estado da flag da garantia ?

O teu modelo é o SM-P600 (só wifi) e o meu é o SM-P605 são dois aparelhos que apesar de serem parecidos por fora por dentro são (bastante) diferentes...
Não sei se é boa ideia actualizares para a versão 4.4.2 se não tens experiência nenhuma nisto, pode correr alguma coisa mal e depois ficas com um lindo e caro pisa papeis. Aconselho-te a esperares que saia a oficial para o teu equipamento (pode demorar um mês (??)) e acredita que vais ficar desanimado porque melhorias pouco ou nada e diferenças estéticas só na barra de status (encolhida) e nos ecrãs de definições onde raramente vais.

Desde já o meu obrigado por toda a informação e esclarecimento.
Acho que vou optar pela primeira opção, ou seja não vou mexer em nada e esperar que saia para este modelo, antes que faça asneira.

THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE GUIDE just a reminder of a list of steps to update SM-P600 to the new KitKat.
For a complete Guide you should head to this thread and this one.
I AM NOT responsible if you screw your device.
So for all the "tugas" out there, Samsung won't be releasing a PT-pt update anytime soon so if you want the new 4.4 KitKat this is what you'll have to do:
Go to sammobile (Sign Up there if you haven't already)
Search for your device in our case SM-P600
Download SPAIN version (or any other for that matter I recommend this one)
Download Odin 3.07 or up
Install Samsung Drivers (the easiest way is to install Kies3)
THIS IS JUST A LIST OF STEPS! READ THE FOLLOWING 2 LINKS to understand the process and to NOT screw UP
Before starting the actual update process I strongly recommend that you read this and this first.
Now lets get to work:
Open Odin
Put Firmware file (*.tar.md5) in PDA
While you wait Odin Computes your MD5 to check if your file is not corrupted put your device in download mode:
Down volume key + Home button + power button
Connect Tablet to PC and wait until the PC and/or Odin recognizes it
Then it the Start button
Wait until it finishes.
Done enjoy.

This tablet is officially abandoned by Samsung. They just don't care. End of story.

Hi, I did this procedure too, but it didn't work either. And as there was a bug in the general interface of the device, and I've done all these procedures, even blocking the bootloader
have you tried settings in phone app and standard settings?
Settings, type Auto to Search box on top and open Auto-answer - see the screenshot
