Hello! I want to upgrada a Zte Blade but! Firstly it has official 2.2 with 256MB of RAM (Greek version) air right now the device is GEN2. I do not know if i have to do the same steps as when i unlocked my own device with 2.1 pre-installed. Secondly, i want to ask if the steps (with 512 unlocked) are the same for upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3... root, install rom manager, reboot on rom manager, wipe, install from sd and reboot... always the same right? Ive got a quistion i have unlocked my bootloader and installed the doom v5 version and as kernel the arthasjon rom. But know i want to do a clean install on my x10 without installing the arthasjon rom but when i try to do this it doasent work at all... i stil get the arthasjon rom back... what am i doing wrong...

I noticed that the focus here is more on the Motorola Defy than Defy Plus (+). I need some help with a defy + that was purchased for my mother.
It is currently running on Stock 2.3.4 (build: 4.5.1-134_DFP-891 , Ver: 45.0.891.MB526.Asiaretail.en.03) Rooted.
However, they prompted me to update my firmware to Ver: 45.0.1321.en.03 recently.
Wondering if i were to update, will i lose root?
I rooted Defy+ with superoneclick 2.3.3.
Also, any good Custom roms to recommend for Defy +?
Will the procedures be the same as Flashing a Custom rom on HTC Sensation?
Where CWM or 4ext can be flashed to boot into as recovery and flashing firmware?

first of all, read this.
If you upgrade, you will lose your root, but as far as i know, the 2.3.6 can be rooted too with the latest superoneclick.
the best custom rom is definitely cyanogenmod (cm7), which can be used with 2.3.6, just install 2ndinit for defy, and there you go!
im not familiar with the flashing process of htc sensation, so i cant help you with that. flashing a full stock rom can be done with motos program rsd lite, while flashing a custom rom is done via cwm.
My hero came from Africa, unfortunately i'm trying to install custom roms and RUU official 2.1.. here's my problem:
1. OTA software update is not available on my phone thru Settings>>About>>No OTA
2. I've tried all ROM Managers from old to new versions, but no avail to install.. "Rom manager cannot be installed on the phone"
3. My firmware version is 1.5
Please help.. anyone with official RUU 2.1 of africa here?
If you want to install custom ROMs, http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/HTC_Hero_(GSM):_Full_Update_Guide follow this guide to root and install a custom recovery on your phone, after you do this i suggest you to use jordfazs CWM 5 recovery and flash that and then you can flash anything you want
Hello, just now I saw that the official upgrade 4.4 was out, so I wanted downgraded to 4.2 to update officially .. So far no problem I put a rom 4.2 on my LG and I go into recovery. I did wipe all necessary to install a new rom (I'm with the Philz recovery) then I try to flash the rom .. Its does not work, so I think there must be a problem of recovery . Now i recieved an OTA fpr NPN-*-67. But i cant install it as it will brick my phone bcz i have twrp.
Please give me link for stock indian rom (any version is fine)
and also steps to install stock rom
