Opal is a code name , it's mean "touch viva".
such as Jade mean touch 3G.
OK! At this moment there is no ROM like ANDROIN for OPAL (touch VIVA).
You can only find Androind emulator on Linux base!
You can test Android like soft not ROM and feel what it's like. BUT.... there is no sound, WiFi and a lot of drivers missing!
But i realy hope that someone with wery huge breins will make ANDROID ROM!

It is only applicable to ROM versions equal to 1.35.xxx.x, or lower.
I have instaled it on my mini Rom version 1.10.206.1 (86611) WWE
just wainting for someone to phone me LOL

doesn't install on my vodafone mini although don't really have a problem with my ring tones lol
I have the "muffling-underwater" ringtone problem...
Does the Ringtone Clarity Enchantment fix this?
When i try to install it, it says that everything gonna be deleted (as ROM install)
Is this a ROM and will delete everything?
Can after install it, install a new rom too?
EDIT- I tried to install it but it keeps saying that phone is not connected...

Well I wanted to install android on my HTC -3470.
Currently it has 6.1 Windows Mobile.
I read tutorial over here androidonhtc dot com (Sorry i m not allowed to post links, so i wrote it this way)
It says -
Requirements for ANDROID: Android will only work if on Windows Mobile 6.1 + HTC Touch Cruise, etc.
So far i think it android should work.
How can i start then ?

I downloaded and installed the MDJ Revolution HD v2.2. and its great in that the speed is lightining fast and its really smooth and quick but I have the following problems:
I did post in the actual NAND Android development thread but nobody is responding,
1) gps location does not work,
2) my bluetooth does not work i.e. it cannot find my headset, why would this be?
3) how do I get the office suite i.e. word, excel on this build?
4) I can send MMS but users cannot receive them
5) the flipover clock is black and white, its seems like its a bug

Unfortunately, we have some problems with our EGL graphic libs, so there are some graphic glitches. Most annoying one (and the only one i've noticed so far) - is that some widgets and all shortcuts are not shown on the desktop.
They actually are on desktop, they can be moved or deleted, but we can't see them.
So, maybe, you won't get full sense 3 experience until we'll fix it.

And another thing that reduces the impression - it's wrong resolution.
Sensation has same screen, but it has bigger resolution - 960x540, we have 800x480, so you won't see some parts of the screen (bottom parts).
I don't know now if someone can be done to fix this.
So please, notice: I REMOVED HtcLockScreen by default (you'll see default android lockscreen) because you can't unlock it after boot. But actually, I included this app below, so you can flash it via CWR and look at it (it will be unlockable)

He is porting it to the thunderbolt and he did say he'll try to get it for us too.

Basically all of the devs for all of the phones are in the exact same position. Go read the Evo forum and their port thread. It boots just like the DHD, but nearly everything is broken (including the new lockscreen which I bet is what 99.9999% of people begging for this port care about) so its basically useless.
Shouldn't this be in the DEV section???
Devs have already been well aware of this.
What are the EU and TMOUS versions for? Could I theoretically just flash the lockscreen over a sense-based rom?
Ok our devs have been trying to port this but it seems that it is possible but until we get our gingerbread leaked rom than we won't have any gingersense or sensation ports. All the devices taht ahve ports have recieved their leaked gingerbread we haven't so we are kind of left out.
