First of all, I'm new here
And since this is a developer question, I decided to post it here, not in the normal Q&A forum.
I wanted to know if anyone here know how to include USB OTG support on ICS kernel for the L3, since I'm trying to do it with no success.
EDIT: Figured out how to enable init.d on the kernel, was a little difficult, but it works fine
Any help?

buddy!!!
OTG is in the framework of romand in kernel source code.
may be kernel developer integrate it in his kernels but what about framework support???
i dont think anyone has that much time and knowledge to hack a framework from other samsung roms and integrate in stock roms.
although as far as i know cm based roms have otg support in their code framework.
and right now no cm or kernel supporting OTG is present for our device.
soory to moderators
actually i double posted a same thread in other section ..my bad ..sorry.
thanks for closing it.
by the way still hoping about OTG support.
Some days ago I saw GRUB4ANDROID, an awesome port of grub for any qualcomm device.
On the original post, the GRUB4ANDROID developer says that's incredibly easy to port this, even on locked bootloaders.
I know there's also a multirom port for this device, but it can't boot ROMs with different sources, it needs the same kernel for all the installed ROMs.
I'm not a dev, so is there anyone available to port this for the G2? This would be a big step forward for the LG G2 modding.
just search GRUB4ANDROID on google to see the original dev gplus post.
I am bored of Android and don't have enough money to buy iphones so I want to try Ubuntu touch but very few Nexus devices are officially supported.
They do have a detailed guide to port it to any other device but i Don't have knowledge about how to build it. I am noob and it isn't my field (I am a Mech Engg Student ?)
So it is my humble request if any dev could build it for Redmi 3sp?
This is the detailed guide:
https://docs.halium.org/en/latest/
I am posting this in ROM thread because i didn't get any response from any dev in discussion thread. Hopefully someone will see this and port Ubuntu touch to land
I also want to use Ubuntu Touch in my Redmi3S, I searched a lot but it's still unavailable for this device. I'm also waiting to get an Ubuntu ROM for Redmi3S. Hope somebody will build it soon for us!
Afaik ubuntu touch has been discontinued after they shifted to Gnome from Unity.
